Holiday Inn Buenavista, an IHG Hotel

Nice clean rooms . Restaurant on site. Friendly staff. Shopping nearby. About a 15 minute taxi ride to the historical center . Staff member Angel went above and beyond with his service and helpfulness.

Only 1 coffee cup in the room. Asked for a wakeup call and never got one. Also no glasses in the room

The location, staff, facilities, and comfort was all absolutely great. I was blown away by the warmth of the Mexican staff. I am a Spanish speaker so there was no language barrier. The authentic Mexican breakfast was great. The pool was awesome. The location to the downtown sites was good as well. I will be returning in the future.

I was traveling with my baby. I asked for a crib several times and they just kept telling me that they would check for me. if it was not for my friends in CDMX that let me borrow a play n go my wife and I would've had a hard time. I asked for it prior to booking and repeatedly asked for one on multiple occasions.

The beds, pillows & linens were wonderful. Everything was super clean and worked. Very good air conditioning. We were in room 109. Even though the hotel is one block from a busy street, it was quiet. Good location, 5min walk to large Walmart. The breakfast buffet was awesome! Plentiful & varied with very good coffee & pastries, fresh fruit, juices & hot selections. The staff were all very pleasant & helpful. A phone was left in the taxi on the ride from the airport. Moises at the front desk organized for the driver to return the phone with great efficiency & speed. We chose this hotel based on the reviews and are so glad we made the right choice. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent facilities as we have come to expect from Holiday Inn. Beds were very comfortable, pillows labelled and fantastic. Bathrooms were great and modern.

Water pressure in shower was not great and water was not hot for the first night. Ice machines are located on 2nd floor and 4th floor but cannot be accessed if staying on 1st or 3rd floor as card does not allow access to these floors.

Clean, elegant, nice staff! I got dollars exchange for pesos! Good location. Had transportation! Super comfortable bed and pillows loved it!

Very picky in swimming pool! Just one lane open . No bathroom mat for shower! My kids were slipping that’s dangerous. No extra cups.

It's comfortable room. foods in the restaurant are good and especially coffee counter located in front of restaurant is impressive. Swimming pool is great with keeping always warmed water. Though wether is colder, can enjoy swim without any problem.

GYM is closed early on Saturday and Sunday.

I DIDNT like the pool rules very very strict couldn’t go in. My kids were upset. Just one lane open it’s ridiculous! And having to wear a hair neat! I have my hair down my butt. That was too much!

I can’t begin to explain how amazing our stay was. As 3 Brits the staff made us feel extremely welcomed and did everything they could to make us have the best experience. It was one of our birthdays and Ari (the manager) organised a surprised cake and song at breakfast and while we were eating they went in and decorated the room, It was so lovely. The breakfast staff, Guerelmo (I don’t know how to spell it) was particularly amazing and helped us navigate the food and menus each morning. Angel, the doorman, was equally amazing and always checked in on us and organised tours and travel for big events (pyramids etc). My girlfriend stained her jacket and the dry cleaning did an awesome job of getting it out. The gym and pool are a great addition and I don’t believe you would get better service anywhere else.

Apparently the location is a bit dangerous but we had no issues and just Ubered everywhere!

Breakfast was lovely. A great choice of hot and cold food with attentive staff and in a clean, spacious environment. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The staff were amongst the friendliest I have ever met in many years of travelling. Everyone was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I must particularly commend Guillermo in the bar/restaurant and Hugo who looked after our bags. They were both superb. I will certainly stay in this hotel again. Thank you all.

The buttons in the elevators. I couldn't get used to them at all.

the staff are amazing. the facilities are nice and the location is great for tourism.

they have a weird lighting system in the rooms. I was unable to just have a lamp on. either all on or all off.
