Hotel Imperial Reforma

Very nice classic hotel located in the centre of the city. The room we had (king) was very big and spacious, the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a classic feeling that are kept up to date, with a few outdated items that relate more to the history of the hotel. Very attentive staff.

The breakfast is basic, but it can be upgraded. The location is not in the centre of the main places to see, but it is a 15 mins walk, so not tgat bad either (or uber), but there are nice restaurants around and the hotel has a high end restaurant at a really good price.

The location was great and the staff were all friendly and attentive. The room was a good size and the worth the price we payed.

The bed was very hard and the water pressure in the shower wasn't great. Also, the instructions on the, "breakfast included," were not very clear. Only a plate of fruit, toast and coffee are included, but nowhere did it say this so we helped ourselves to the hot buffet, only to be told that it would cost us $500 MXN.

The location.The formal restaurant, "Guidi"? The waitstaff was very nice. The Valets were excellent. The room was spacious.

We had to ask for a coffee pot and coffee the to be delivered to our room, which was no charge. We had to pay for coffee the other days. We walked next door to Oxxo for coffee. The bathtub was a challenge to get in and out! We had to ask for a blanket and appropriate towels. At the cafeteria, they charged for the to-go box.

Very good first impression in Mexico City thanks to the kind and helpful staff in the hotel. The hotel is located on the main avenue Paseo de la Reforma which gives you the possibility to reach the old town (Zocalo, Torre Latinoamericano etc.) or the modern buildings/Chapultepec park/Independence monument easily by walk. No issues of walking during the late evening either. There is a little grocery next to the hotel as well as a hop on-hop off bus stop for sightseeing. We had American breakfast included but additional food/drink could be selected from the menu. We were satisfied with the hotel taxi which we used to get to the northern bus station in Mexico City (not at all overpriced). Our room was super spacious with the biggest bed ever seen, also very comfortable and with many pillow options.

Our room looked at the main avenue which during the weekdays can be noisy - the windows do not close completely. On Sundays and holidays though cars are not allowed, but cyclists and pedestrians only. We were also feeling cold in the room, however, we experienced that throughout our different stays in this part of Mexico (February). Our impression was that not having heating in the room is not hotel specific at all.

Nice facility over all. You can tell it’s old, but still a nice hotel for the price. Very nice restaurants, good food, conveniently located. Very classic hotel, and it’s part of Mexico City’s history.

Elevators need some maintenance. The doors are scary, they seem to do very sudden moves.

the hotel itself - its beautiful arquitecture makes its unique. its location is beautiful and the way it’s designed from within makes it a good experience

I would have liked a room with balcony but I don’t complain. it was a good view. two lamps don’t work though so I suggest changing the light bulbs. didn’t bother me

Room was spacious. Really great location.

The Breakfast included is just fruit and toast and you have to pay for other things which is still better than nothing. I thought the towels had seen the end of their life and also the water pressure and temperature in the shower could have been much better.

Entrance to hotel lobby very difficult when you are carrying large baggage. Stairs are not friendly

The hotel has its own parking on an affordable price; the hotel has its own enchant being a classic building and decorated with many antique details; the curtains in the rooms are able to shut off the noise and light during the night, since the hotel is located on a busy avenue.

The carpets need to be cleaned with urgency. We use to work out, and we notice even bad odor coming from the carpet.

This hotel has its colonial charm. Yes, you can find hotels with better equipment, but this one feels like the old good times.

There are no chargers for mobiles or no sockets in EU standard, you have to buy your own.
