Hotel Plaza Revolución

Great Area safe and quite 15 minutes walk to the Centro Histórico two metro stations within easy walking distance, The staff are so helpful and polite, they really make the stay enjoyable, rooms are immaculate with a very comfortable bed and large smart TV, bathroom had good hot water pressure, cleaning is done each day. The breakfast is service not buffet style with different options very tasty. Coffee is provide free throughout the day in the restaurant area.

Corridors can be a little noisy as doors are not fully soundproof also much noise from room above me moving furniture etc , some guests like to chat in the corridors 🧐 WiFi can be a little intermittent. Air con is also a little to old and loud so not able to keep on whilst trying to sleep.

The location was incredibly good, super close to the historic center of the city. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and convenience stores nearby as well. Breakfast was very nice, with some traditional options too.

This didn't affect my overall experience that much but I think it should be considered: the cleaning product used in the lobby has a VERY strong smell, almost like old spice. I could even feel it when walking toward the hotel, a couple of houses before getting there. Some of the pillowcases and towels were a little frayed. Very clean but noticeably old.

Location halfway between the Zocolo and Chapultepec park and many outdoor restaurants nearby.

Just one woman at front desk in the morning. My friends checked in the day before I arrived and when I arrived the next day it was several hours early for checkin. I needed to use the bathroom and put my bag in their room so we could go out before I checked in. She insisted that I couldn't go up to the room with my friend to use bathroom and drop off my bag while his wife waited for us in reception area even tho she knew I had my own reservation and was checking into another room later. Really stupid and on top of that the lobby restroom was closed for cleaning.

The location was great; we really liked the customer service, especially the night shift, they were extremely friendly and great hosts and the room was very spacious and nice.

There was no change of towels every day and on the penultimate day the garbage was not picked up, the curtains are a little old but nothing serious. About the breakfast, was really expensive and not at the level of the rest of the service.

The localisation is great, it's very easy to take yourself to another location. Close to the historical centre. Breakfast was really great too and people working there are kind and helpful.

The only minus was that there was almost no WiFi in our room. You had to stand in a certain spot to connect and couldn't move if you didn't want it to disconnect.

Room clean and location. The staff was really good, they answers all our questions during our stay, they gave us a discounted trip to Teotihuacan by bus, it was amazing, definitely worth it.

The sound proof in rooms was not that good, we hear the noise from the streets and hallways, I hope they fix this. other than that it was very good hotel.

The rooms are very comfortable. The mattress is strong and did wonders for my lower back and the complementary water bottles re-stocked daily are a small detail, but very useful if you are exploring the city. While the breakfast options are limited, the dishes are very tasty. The hotel is within walking distance of some major landmarks and museums.

A very small detail, but there were no electric plugs close to the night stands to charge my phone, so I had to leave it charging on the desk. Again this is very minor and barely a nuisance.

Good location close to the city centre, near metro. Comfy bed. Good breakfasts served in a convenient time. Helpful staff. Spacious bathroom.

Poor acoustic, it was very loud in the room, hearing everything from the corridor and neighbour rooms. WiFi didn't work well in the room. Window view to the wall.

The staff was very friendly and they really made you feel at home. The breakfast was very good too.

The fact that there was no fridge in the room was a minus since the temperature in México City is quite warm the whole year. The air-conditioning system definitely needs an upgrade, too. Overall, it was a nice experience.

We liked the cleanliness, the breakfast was good, the location was great. There was plenty of hot water and the room we were in even had a bit of a view. The apples in the lobby were a nice touch.

The only problem was that the walls were paper thin. I think the management needs to put signs on every floor warning people to not make noise. Other than that, our stay was perfect.
