One Ciudad de Mexico Alameda

Perfect location, easy walk to zócalo, this hotel is very clean and modern and in a very safe area. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and very good including coffee,juice,fresh fruit, scrambled eggs,toast,cereal,chicken with veggies and yummy chilaquiles. My room was on the 4th floor had 2 windows facing Juarez Av. Must be sound proof because I did not hear traffic,the room was just a bit small but I had no issue with that because the bed was very comfortable and clean, AC worked perfect. Bathroom very modern and clean with rain water fixture in the shower. Front desk very friendly and accommodating. There was a Sanborns restaurant right across the street and lots of other nice restaurants and Alameda park as you walk towards Bellas Artes Palace, Centro Histórico and Zócalo.

Staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. Location is fantastic - across the street from Diego Rivera museum, Alameda Park, short walk to Palace of Fine Arts and the Zocalo - too many restaurants to count. Also very close access to the fantastic Metro system. Delicious and generous breakfast buffet every morning.

I saw reviews on One Ciudad Hotel & and they were very positive. I also contacted the hotel by booking to ask about taxi from Airport to hotel , they we very helpful. Actually on arrival at Mexico City airport , best to connect to free airport WiFi & use UBER its super safe & easy . The Hotel is in a perfect location on Av Juarez, just a short walk from Zocalo area . The Staff at hotel are amazing , the Manager Edgar speaks very good English and is Super helpful. The front desk staff Ricardo & Meline also speak English and also super helpful. The Cheff Miguel provides some lovely Mexican breakfast & it’s really good and tasty . The maids take care of your room every morning & when you return it’s perfect . Also there is a free laundry, all you do is ask the front desk . Go down to the reception & Detergent is provided . ( Very nice Touch keep this up ) Actually the Hotel on a whole is pretty hard to beat .

Excellent location. Walking distance to all the main attractions in the historic area. Wifi was fine. Breakfast was quite good more like typical Mexical (chilaquiles) though some other options like yogurt, toast, etc., and friendly staff. When it was quiet it was very quiet, but had some issues with neighbor room noise (see other comment)

Biggest issue was thin walls. We had a neighbor slamming the door all the time, and it was just constant like 20 times in various 1 hour periods, very annoying. Though not totally the hotels fault, they should have a solution to prevent this issue (like those devices that slow the door closing) The room was small and thin walls. Otherwise the location is great for the price, a block from many more expensive hotels right near Alameda park and bit further to the Zocalo.

Staff friendly but none spoke English so communicating was a problem until I discovered “TRANSLATION” on my iPad Locals love the breakfast——not me——the scrambled eggs looked baked to death like foam rubber

The room was small but, peefect. The beds were very comfortable. It was amazingly quiet. WiFi was excellent. Breakfast was ok.

Staff came into our room to spray for COVID. They soaked our bedspreads/comforters, sprayed over my open baggies of vitamins, sprayed all over my reading glasses & everything on my bedside table plus, the floor was soaking wet from it. It was SO unnecessary & SO overdone.

The location is perfect you can walk to all the main places in Mexico City .The breakfast was excellent you get different choices every day, and the quality of the food super. The room was in perfect condition with daily cleanness and change towels. The front desk, housekeepers and all personal was friendly and attentive I will recommended 100% this Hotel

Nothing to complain about

Great location, walking distance from Alameda, Zocalo, Cathedral, Templo Mayor. Very close to metro stations and metrobus stops so it was very easy to move around the city without using taxi all the time. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good and varied through the week. Comfortable rooms, hot water and good water pressure, air conditioner worked well. Excellent value for money.

Location is the best, well communicated and a lot of small stores around it and sites where to eat. Breakfast´s facilities are not enough and the quality of food is below of my expectations. Room is small but this time was very noisy. Elevator once was dirty the floor.

I was some weeks ago in this hotel as well along my wife. That time the price I paid was in average below 20% in comparison to this time. The room of my prior stay was more comfortable surely because is not front of the main avenue like this time. I suggest that someone is supervising the facility specially about cleanliness. It is bothering when a floor of any site is dirty.

The location with breakfast included was not a bad deal. The location is great you are close to the palacio de bellas artes. The breakfast was an actual breakfast with warm breakfast items and not a bagged breakfast. For a budget option, I would stay in this hotel again.

The rooms were a bit small, would not recommend more than 2 people in a room. You can hear some road noise, but it did not bother us at all.
