An amazing place to stay. The overall standard of the No.30 B&B and the exceptional hospitality was second to none. I cant say enough good things about this place and its owners, who are extremely friendly, approachable and flexible. Beautiful house in great location of Aberdare , only 3 minutes walk to local supermarket and take aways, very close distance to Waterfall Country and other Brecon Beacons attractions. No.30 atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the owners, who do a great job to make sure you have substantial and taste breakfast . Lovely and cosy room with extremely comfortable bed , Very clean throughout and the rooms are spacious with everything you may need. Very pleasant and comfortable stay. I will certainly be staying here again and highly recommend No.30 in Aberdare!!!

The hosts were wonderfully welcoming, and the house is beautiful. Our room was large with eclectic décor and little details that made our stay perfect: books, DVDs, lovely biscuits, blackout blinds, bathroom luxuries, and emergency supplies if needed, lush towels, and good coffee! Our hosts were friendly and thoughtful, offering good chat and local insight. I adored the other rooms; the kitchen and breakfast room is stunning - with a great breakfast and we were even offered a picnic to take with us, as we wld be out all day. A fairly quiet street (except for around pub 'closing time') with easy access to shops and local amenities. It isn't a pretty town, but it does access some great nature areas and good walking. On a busy weekend, it is advisable to book ahead if you are looking to dine out as there isnt too much choice of restaurant but the people are friendly. I wld book this hotel just to stay in our room again - it was a unique gem.

I had the most amazing and welcoming experience at No 30 and I really wasn't expecting so much hospitality. The whole house is decorated uniquely and tastefully. I had delicious full English breakfast on Mason's crockery and quite frankly was treated like a VIP. My bedroom was beautiful and the photos really didn't do this place any justice. The shop in the basement had some very unique and gorgeous items. She also stocks Frenchic paint ( that I coincidentally needed) so I bought some! The bed was beyond comfortable and I slept better than I would at home. I think I might go back to Aberdare just to stay there again and to enjoy the breathtaking landscape. I went to discover the Rhondda Valleys and enjoy the nature, waterfalls and walking trails that are all located nearby. But my stay at No 30 with Jo and Paul made the whole experience even more meaningful. I genuinely couldn't recommend this B&B and the hosts anymore.

Everything was perfect

The No. 30, and my hosts Jo and Paul were simply charming in every way. Lovely room, quiet place in the city center, and copious, delicious breakfast cooked to individual customers' tastes. Thanks Jo and Paul for the conversations, I really enjoyed my time at the No. 30! I would have given an 11 if I could! The Emporium below the B&B is well worth visiting too.

A beautiful house, lovingly decorated, very comfortable and welcoming. We had a lovely room and very comfortable bed - the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in! Jo, our very welcoming host, cooked an excellent breakfast - couldn't eat much the rest of the day! We would definitely stay there again and would thoroughly recommend.

Nothing. We would love to stay there again.

Jo and Paul are excellent hosts. Jo cooks a delicious breakfast, which provides sufficient sustenance for the rest of the day! The room was comfortable, spacious and clean, with a plentiful supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits to keep a small army going! Centrally placed in Aberdare, it’s a great location to access many beautiful walks in the local area, as well as beyond to the Brecon Beacons, the waterfalls at Ystradfellte, Aberdare Country Park and the local “Zip Line”

We had a wonderful stay at Jo’s gorgeous Victorian villa. The well sized room was immaculate and beautifully appointed with lots of thoughtful touches. It was quiet and peaceful, the bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was terrific. The location is also great - a few minutes walk from the main street with all the shops and restaurants on it. Jo was very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend it!

Nothing.

Great breakfast. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Beautifully decorated good size clean room. Full amenity were provided. Stone throw away from the town center. Clean and comfortable bed linen. Double glazed window to keep the room quiet.

Nothing! The front door key was bit temperamental but the owner says they will look into fixing this.

The location was ideal (we were visiting family in the area), and the hosts were fabulous. Breakfast was delicious—you most certainly won’t leave hungry! We would have loved to stay another night, but we had a full itinerary and had to move on to our next destination.

Everything was perfect, really.
