We were visiting Glamis Castle for the Highland Games and found Home Farm to overnight which was very short drive on the other side of Forfar. We drove down from Inverness area and found the entry road easily. The farm property us extensive, gated driveway with parking, and a very cordial welcome. The accommodation was very comfortable, and the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna facilities were first class. We slept very well, and enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts our hosts laud on, in a grand dining room. As I realised I left a blazer in the wardrobe, we drive the few miles back to be engaged warmly again, and took the chance to thank them for the extraordinary hospitality.

Spotlessly clean, Huge room decorated with class. luxurious, comfy bed and amazing rainfall shower, big lovely bath to pamper yourself in if that's your thing. lovely breakfast. Choice of continental or full English. No buffet style just brought to table on plate. Spa facilities ( 2-3 HR slots to be booked for private use ) lovely added bonus ( extra charge) but for us certainly worth it . Hosts were lovely. Would definitely recommend 😊

Tight road access if going tarmac road way. Easier with farm road access but not so good on the suspension. We used both and slow careful driving I'd recommend the farm track but only if it's your car . Not a huge issue either way. Just a heads up.

We booked this last minute after a change of plan for.my husband's birthday. The guest house is stunning, the setting is beautiful and the spa was a little extra that promted us to book. Our room was fantastic, bed was so comfortable and room so spacious. The bathroom was lovely and very big with the stand alone bath and large walk in shower. My son and husband got the spa to themselves and enjoyed the pool, sauna and whirlpool jacuzzi. The hosts were so friendly, provided us with details of where to eat locally with our son and also the best beach nearby. Breakfast was delicious and my son said he wanted to go back for some more of the homemade jam. An absolute hidden gem for us which we will look forward to visiting again. Cannot recommend more highly.

Everything!! The setting in beautiful countryside & courtyard lit up at night. Room was spacious & beds comfy. Wonderfully welcoming hosts friendly & helpful. Spa looks amazing though didnt have a chance to use it. Decor & furnishings are outstanding!! Everything is immaculate & the bathroom is fantastic This place is much more than your average B&B!! Breakfast was exceptional Definitely returning for a longer stay & highly recommend

Our stay at this B&B was exceptional, the renovation of this beautiful farm house is outstanding, which make it unique and our hosts, Paula and Robert were very accommodating. The rooms are beautifully finished with attention to detail and the bathrooms are a wow factor! Our breakfast was amazing and plenty of choice was given. I would highly recommend this B&B and I will definitely return.

Warm friendly welcome from both Paula and Robert, exceptional hosts. We could not fault anything with our stay. Very clean room, comfortable bed and excellent facilities made our stay so relaxing. The breakfast was generous and to a very high standard. The first class spa really enhanced our stay. We think Paula and Robert have created a real luxury experience, a stunning property in beautiful surroundings, looking forward to a return visit.

Home Farm set the bar high for all of our other bookings. Our room was spotless with the most comfortable bed. The bath had a wonderful walk in shower and the largest tub (complete with bubbles)that I have even seen in any loading. The breakfast was absolutely delicious I had several dietary restrictions and our hostess made a breakfast that met all of my needs. I cannot say enough positive things.things about this place.

Paula and Robert are very attentive hosts and were keen to make sure that everything was to our liking. Great choice of breakfast dishes including cold meats and cheese and sour dough bread as well as the usual breakfast staples. Plenty of advice on restaurants. Location is very, very quiet. Bed was super comfortable.

Host, was lovely, perfect balance of friendly banter and privacy. Beautiful peaceful location. Lovely local nature reserves. Breakfast and facilities were great.

I really cant think of anything to say here apart from maybe the temperature of the swimming pool was a little too low, to fully enjoy for 2hr session

We liked our room Sunflower very much and the ensuite was a great size and the shower was fantastic. Our breakfast in the dining room was excellent made all the more special by the deer crossing the fields outside! Will definitely return to Home Farm and next time we'll book the swimming pool well in advance too!
