Service on arrival exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The room was nice and warm which was most pleasant as it was absolutely freezing outside. Room spotless, excellent facilities such as ensuite bathroom, fridge, TV, wifi and kettle with a good beverage selection. Cooked breakfasts were huge and freshly made to order. Selection of cereals and fruit juices also available along with choice of white or brown toast. Tea and coffee also on offer but I brought my own coffee down with me. The bar is excellent and offers a large drinks selection at very good prices. The bar meals are exceptional and the helpings extremely generous. Nothing is too much bother for any of the staff. I had an issue with my room key one day and there was no problem resolving it. Great location as well with ample off road parking. This is the second time I have stayed within the space of one year and it did not disappoint. Yes, there are other hotels in Carnoustie but I cannot recommend the 19th Hole highly enough. It was like a home away from home for me and I receommend this place 100% ahead of any of the other hotels in the area. I was back in Carnoustie due my elderly father's rapidly declining health and I had initially booked for 12 nights but when my Father passed away whilst visiting, I had to request an extenstion by a couple of nights which was absolutely no problem whatsoever. I even got to remain in the same room! It was just one less thing to have to worry about whild making all the funeral arrangements. My heartfelt thanks goes to Linda and all her amazing staff. The coffee at breakfast time. Having moved from Carnoustie to Australia twelve years ago, I have become a bit of a coffee snob! I do not like instant coffee so it would be amazing if you were able to provide a freshly ground coffee offering such as a plunger coffee or even coffee from the machine in the bar. This is me being very picky and not at all a negative comment.

On the ground floor, oh dear, Will I sleep? Will it be noisy…..not at all, very quiet, slept right through, no noise at all. Just needed somewhere to sleep but this was much more than that, so clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming. My choice not to have breakfast, I am sure it would have been lovely but the tea/coffee provided in the room was fine for me in the morning. Lots of people to visit so this was right in the middle of everywhere I wanted to go. Will definitely be back……oh and the price is right.

Great place for golf trips, 2 minutes from Carnoustie Golf Course and 40 minutes by car from St Andrews, really easy in and out. Great bar, full of friendly locals and golfers.

Nothing to really can’t live with, they where really nice and helpfull. Just small improvements - Better mattress and better way to soundproof the doors in the hallway. But nothing

Great location and a good pub on property. Room was fresh and spacious with lots of storage. Housekeeping, reception and bar staff were all friendly and efficient. Really good walk in shower with plenty of space. A very well stocked mini bar too 🤩

I think maybe the mattress is due replacement .. it wasn’t overly comfortable but fine for 2 nights. The tiles in the shower could do with a little bit of cosmetic attention.

What can I say, from the second I walked in the door, I was made to feel very welcome. I was shown to my room by the very friendly receptionist who explained brekkie times as well as who we could approach should we need anything such as extra pillows The room was modern and absolutely spotless. The bed was very comfortable plus there was tea and coffee making facilities as well as a bar fridge. The bathroom was very modern and clean and possessed a shower that could blast you through the wall. I loved it. The breakfast was amazing! Big choice and cooked to perfection. Again, all the staff were brilliant and so friendly. There is also a bar which I loved. Great choice of drinks at very reasonable prices. Bar staff again were very friendly. Next time I am back in Scotland, I will not hesitate to book to stay there. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

There is nothing I can think of, it was all excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. Accomodation was excellent- spotlessly clean, comfortable, good facilities. From the point of booking the staff were friendly, polite, helpful - nothing was any trouble. We ate in the bar after arrival and felt very comfortable in the surroundings as all current requirements were clearly observed. The food was extremely tasty and reasonably priced. We continued our break in a much higher rated hotel further north but 19th Hole Hotel far exceeded the ratings this hotel was given. We will certainly be back if we are in the area - either to stay or eat. Thank you.

We were late booking in the Evening for four adults and we arrived at 11.30 and the young gentleman who was working was excellent and very accommodating. He checked us in quickly and we were able to have a couple of refreshments before getting our heads down. The room prices were very reasonable. If I’m back in the area I will definitely check in with them again

comfortable bedroom was very hot and i found it difficult to find central heating control to turn it down, as windows did not open. No visitor guide/instructions. Although a disabled room with walk-in shower, the suction grab handles in toilet and shower had fallen off and did not stick on the tiles. Breakfast,on a holiday morning, was only served 0730-0900, albeit cooked to order and served with a smile. Open to 1000 would be preferable. Car parking on the street but was fortunately available.

A very comfortable room with good facilities. The bar area was busy with a great atmosphere and a superb selectionofdrinks. The food was delicious. Hot and a fabulous choice at a very reasonable price. The breakfast was cooked to order and very good indeed. Staff were so pleasant and accommodating. A great base for exploring the area and for golf at Carnoustie or the surrounding area.

The staff could not have been more helpful, or friendlier. Nothing was too much trouble, and all were efficient and kind. A real family hotel feel in a very well modernised setting. Not luxurious, but comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The menu is very good for a small kitchen, the food freshly prepared and well-cooked, service excellent. Being so close to the famous links, the aptly named 19th Hole would be ideal for a golfing holiday, yet is still a happy place as a base for exploring the region.

Our room was rather too small for two adults over four nights, with insufficient wardrobe space. However, it was scrupulously clean, with all necessary facilities, and the bathroom very well appointed, with a bathtub, not just a shower. It was a pity that the off -street parking wasn't in use, but fortunately there was space available on the street.
