Lynette and David are excellent hosts and their hospitality is outstanding. The bnb is decorated in a lovely manner and the rooms cosy and comfortable. We found the bnb to be in an excellent location for day trips to either coast or in the local area and also for the walker's wanting to do The Dales Way. The personal little touches, were a very welcome addition, especially Lynette's cake for afternoon tea after a long day exploring. A MUST mention is the breakfast offerings! Without a doubt the BEST breakfast we've had in our 3 weeks in the UK! As my partner told Lynette "it's hosts like yourselves that make travelling such a joy"! The welcome, tea, and cake offered The atmosphere, decorations, and warmth felt within the house. The quirky notices, books, and games. The mini lounge/library on the landing. The owners, their personalities, and how welcome they made us feel. Breakfast, lots of choice with to die for porridge. The location, and free parking. This is no ordinary bed and breakfast. It really is like being in Alice Adventures in Wonderland. It starts from the notice in the car park and as you make your way in an array of treasures and quotes meet and greet you. A warm Yorkshire greeting with tea and cake is on offer, which can be eaten while sitting in the mini library/lounge on the landing outside your room. Clocks, fairy lights, quotes from Roald Dahl and others, while you try to stop your eyes for wondering to the homemade craft ornaments adorning the stairs. We had room 2, which is a twin room with our own bathroom. Everything you needed was provided, and if you think of anything you didn't have, then you only had to ask! Loved the mini bags with chocolate 🍫 at the end of each bed to celebrate the New Year. Location could not get any better. Grassington is a beautiful part of Yorkshire, in the Dales, great for walkers, and of course All Creatures Great and Small fans. Breakfast is a great start to the day. Choice, upon choice and nothing was too much trouble. Don't think I will ever meet two nicer entrepreneurs again.

We went as two couples for a half term break to Grassington. From booking through to departure we cannot recommend this place enough. Dave and Lynette are such a kind and considerate couple who just want uk make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble from restaurant recommendations to walks and things to do as well as taking care of every detail in the B and B. The rooms are lovely and have everything you need and if not then just ask. The breakfast is by far the best we have ever had at a B and B.

Absolutely fantastic little B&B. Very friendly hosts, exceptional attention to our needs (and all guests needs/requirements.). Such a 'quirky' amazing B&B. Lots of crafts made by Dave & Lynette around the B&B. Fantastic selection of maps of local walks to borrow. Plenty of advice on where to walk and where to eat in evening. Homemade scones/jam and butter awaiting on the library /landing on arrival. Nothing was too much for Dave & Lynette. Alice's flapjack is to die for. We forgot phone chargers/adaptors - yes they had them for our use. I needed a plaster - yes they had it. Anne & Mick xx

Dave's cake and cookies! Lovely location. Great welcome Could not do enough for you If ever you go away this would be what you wish for but almost never get. All the little extras turned an ordinary stay into THE best night away. Thank you Dave and Lynette

There really isn't anything not to like. We opted for the small double with loo along the corridor as we were hiking through and needed to keep costs down. It didn't disappoint.

All the creative decorations give the entire place (entrance, hall, staircase, room and dining hall) a welcoming and warm atmosphere, without making it kitschy. All of the little details, starting with the handmade shelves, hand-crafted art works all-around the walls, the check-in experience, the Scandinavian style no-shoe policy, ending with how the cooked breakfast is prepared make it obvious that Craiglands is not just a typical B&B in the heart of Yorkshire Dales, but an inviting space that is taken care truly with heart and soul.

There is absolutely nothing. Maybe some signage that the entrance is on the side of the building (possibly there is one, we were just too tired to notice it).

Delicious home made cake and tea provided on arrival. Little extras provided such as fresh flowers in the room and a little bag of sweets. Double glazed windows deadened road noise.

Owner wasn't very friendly when I arrived because I said I hadn't received the code to the key safe from booking.com. However his wife was charming and friendly.

We enjoyed everything about this B&B. From the warm welcome to the friendly service to the fantastic breakfasts to the complimentary cake and coffee. Dave and Lynette are down to earth and nothing is a chore for them. They clearly enjoy making their guests feel welcome.

We wished we had more time to stay longer to build stronger friendships with Dave and Lynette and see more of the outstanding local beauty. We will definitely be coming back to do that in the coming months.

Lovely decor, warm and friendly Lynette, David and her Mum couldn't be be helpful. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice, with lovely homely and artistic touches throughout the house. Lynette is also a talented artist and I bought a few gifts from her little artisan stall in the hall. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely co.e back and recommend to friends and family. The owners of Craiglands B&B, Lynette and Dave, are very nice and very helpful! I liked the fresh flowers and the tea making supplies in my room. My bed was very comfortable, the internet was fast, and I had a beautiful view from my window. I enjoyed the variety and quality of the breakfast offerings and the fresh baked goods provided for guests to enjoy later in the day. The location was convenient for walking to the center of Grassington, for the proximity to local trails, and for catching the bus to explore other towns or to get to the train station.
