Absolutely loved my stay at the charming pod in the Yorkshire Dales. The setting was incredibly beautiful, offering breathtaking views of the Dales, making our getaway special. The pod itself was a perfect blend of comfort and modern amenities. Immaculately clean and well-maintained, it provided a cosy retreat with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The modern touches added a touch of luxury, making my experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic find.
Be prepared to be completely disconnected, as there is no mobile signal, and the Internet on the pod doesn't work.

We loved absolutely everything about The Gamekeepers Inn. We were looked after amazingly well from start to finish. We were upgraded on arrival as it was our honeymoon. The room was beautiful with everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff were so helpful, friendly warm and welcoming. Food was amazing so we had dinner every evening too. Daniel was the best host we could of asked for. Gave us so much information on the area and how to make the most of our week. The spa facilities were fantastic and the treatments we had were superb. Made to feel so special by everyone at the Inn. We can't wait to return. Thanks so much for making our honeymoon the best possible ❤️

Excellent Breakfast with good quality produce - We also had an evening meal which was very tasty and well priced. Room and furnishings were exceptional with a spacious bathroom and very comfortable, large bed. The pool and leisure facilty was really good and we spent several hours there due to the rather inclement Yorkshire weather. 15 minutes or so from Skipton where there's lots to see and do if you have the time.
There was a funeral wake on the Saturday night with many extra "guests" in the bar area - Coupled with the locals from the park, there was little or no space to sit and it was very difficult to get service as there were only two staff serving - We were looking forward to a quiet drink before retiring to bed but that unfortunately was impossible.

When we arrived at this little hidden gem, we were shown to our room, it was lovely and warm, with a beautiful bed, a posh coffee machine, biscuits & lovely furniture. We was told about breakfast times and also we could use the gym and sauna as staying guests in the hotel. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was beautiful. Breakfast in the morning was also very enjoyable, the staff were very friendly, every thing was lovely and warm which in the winter months is very welcoming
We went for a walk to explore at night and it was very dark around all the caravans, but what a lovely place it was when we did it again in the morning .

The site was perfect for families with access to the leisure centre and an outdoor play area attached to the pub/restaurant. The lodge was a lovely size and my little one really enjoyed having more space than you usually get from a hotel room. The food served in the restaurant was lovely and had a great range despite having some power issues whilst we stayed.
The shower cubicle leaked into one of the bedrooms , though this was picked up by the staff quickly after we reported it. The heating system was set on a timer but this did not appear to come on during our stay there - we used spare duvets which were provided in the lodge to stay warm in the evening in the lodge.

The room & bathroom were spacious & decorated & furnished beautifully. A coffee machine was provided in the room with an excellent selection of coffee pods. Plenty of tea & a kettle too, plus water too.
Unfortunately there wasn’t a window to open, the only option was to leave the patio door open. It was a really hot night so I left the door open despite it opening onto a shared patio/courtyard. I did close the door in the night after putting out the little lizard that had come into the room - I didn’t want it to come back in. The location wasn’t great. I only found out the Gamekeeper’s Inn was towards the top of a large holiday home site when we drove onto the site. I expected it to be an old pub in a non holiday community…the website photo gave that impression

The Oak Lodge was a lovely place to spend a weekend. The In-laws loved the place so that was a win. The location was nice and tucked away but easy to get to Skipton for our boat trip. We used the pool both mornings and that was a great way to start the day. We had a meal at the pub and thought the food was excellent and good value for money. The beers were also kept extremely well. We made use of the cooking facilities in the Lodge and had a lovely French Toast breakfast on Sunday. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
There were a few negatives but they didn't really affect the enjoyment of our stay. Although the place was impeccably clean there was a dead bird on the patio and a stinky bin in the main bathroom which was replaced quickly when we told reception about it. The ensuite bathroom shower was very leaky I was told by the partner's parents. Lastly, one staff member who checked us in and out was quite blunt and disinterested but the rest of the staff were lovely and made up for her.

Beautiful surroundings. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was amazing. Very very clean. Little touches of coffee machine and complementary toiletries made it more special. Friendly staff.
Check in wasnt obvious. We were passed about a bit to start with. Food was ok but a little bit disapointed with dinner service. Just little things like not having a steak knife to eat steak and asking 3 times for water with out meal, which was eventually brought at the end of our meal. The room was also really really warm which made it a bit umconfortable.

The hotel was lovely, the perfect setting for our girls' trip in the middle of Malham Cove and Bolton Abbey. The hotel rooms were cute and comfortable, we had one double and one family room. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them! The cooked breakfast was lovely, and the use of the on site spa facilities was an added bonus. Will definitely be back again, thanks again to the lovely staff!
The only reason I gave a 9 and not a 10, our evening meal had mixed reviews from the group. The main menu dishes seemed to be the better options, however some of us chose from the themed curry night menu and were left very disappointed.

The Gamekeepers accommodation is lovely. Our room was a great size with an outside terrace, Pen-y-Ghent. The room was clean and modern with underfloor heating and a fabulous power shower. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with everything you'd want. The staff are so friendly and attentive. We booked an evening meal for our 1st night and because of the excellent quality, price and friendly staff we booked again for a further 2 nights. The pool, gym, cafe and spa area are an added bonus. We will return with the whole family next time.
Can't fault anything.
