Holiday Inn London Kensington High St., an IHG Hotel

Liked the location, lounge and facilities. Staff were very polite and helpful.

The room was too small for a couple especially when getting ready to go out. No where to store luggage in the room either. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

- the location it’s really excellent. It is situated just one min. Walk from the under ground (2 different lines). And it is near some good brands for shipping. - the breakfast space was enough for the large amount of visitors. And the workers were very nice. - the Air conditioner was working very good although it was mid August (we needed it 3 nights). - the room was in the first floor (1018) and had two windows, that can be opened :). - fast check out - taxi service. - the staff were honestly very helpful and friendly.

- the breakfast was warm-cold. Never warm. And only basics. - the smell in the room was at not really nice but tolerable. After opening the A/C / Windows was okay. - we took the bigger room and yet was small. Bigger room is highly recommended if traveling with family.

they upgraded our room to the suite because we didn’t realise the shower was not a hand held one that was required for health reasons

the jacuzzi and pool were freezing. upon arrival we were only told the heating the jacuzzi wasn’t working and another staff member told us it hadn’t been working for over a week. we specifically chose this hotel for the pool and jacuzzi so we’re very disappointed they hadn’t stated this on their advertisement- so an informed decision can be made by the customer. not happy about this and was offered no apology or compensation for this.

Great location. very friendly staff. my daughter sprained her ankle. They couldn’t have enough. A The doctor of the hotel arrived very quickly. He assessed my daughter. Then he went and got a crutch and ice packs. we got extra pillows. They were so good. I had a lovely massage, the staff were so lovely. I really enjoyed the pool and the Aqua classes.

We left the breakfast card outside our door of our room as instructed. it wasn’t picked up. That happened twice. we got fed up so we took it down to reception. when we got our breakfast, I had asked for a mushroom and tomato omelette. what I didn’t expect was a plateful of fried mushrooms and tomatoes. no eggs cooked with it??? The bathroom was quite small. It was a bit awkward to get in and out of the bath/shower.

We were able to check in early after joining the membership programme, which was handy after travelling. The room (Standard King, 15 sq m) was quite small (bathroom had hardly any space to move), but clean and comfortable. Would recommend upgrading to a larger room if you can. The team was very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was great with a lot of space and menu choices. There are also swimming pool, spa and gym facilities, but did not have time to use these.

The location is not great if you’re after the main tourist spots (theatres, Tower of London, etc.). Takes about 25-30 min by underground to get there from the hotel, so factor this in for sightseeing.

Staff, Location, Bar. All worth it. Perfect way to relax, especially when after a busy day around London

We had to go get our key cards re done 3 times in one day, so annoying when at your room and going back down. The Spa requires that you have a pound coin for the lockers, but no one tells you. The desk didn't have any. Also, Need to post when children are having swimming lessons. Screaming children and people singing 'Wheels on the bus..' for an hour isn't exactly relaxing. Oh and add a time limit on the hot tub. It's small, and the same people sat there for the full hour, so no one else could use it.

I really liked the quiet areas downstairs to sit and relax. I really liked the breakfast which was plentiful and varied I really liked the little shop/cafe for takeaway food I really liked the location and convenience to Kensington High Street

I was concerned at the lack of enough staff to process registration quickly leaving people in queues less than 2 meters apart I didn't like the less than varied bar menu - I have stayed before - but I assume this was because of pandemic measures and restricted food facilities

The location, 3 minuts from High street Kensington undergroynd station, the swimming pool, the room, the small fridg in the room, the size and softness of body towles.

The waiting for cheack-in took a little longer then i expected, the elavetors are very slow, the room itself was very nice, not too small The bathroom however was very tiny, especialy around the sink, you just can't put your stuff near it because there is no room for it. Also the hotel provide shampoo and soap but not an hair conditioner, so i had to buy.

We liked the location, the facilities were excellent, the steam room and jacuzzi was on point although the jacuzzi could be a little bit bigger but none the less staff was clear it was only to accommodate 20 people. Staff were lovely on arrival and throughout the stay. The secret beer garden was also lovely although the pond could have done with a clean and maybe a few more fish to enjoy looking at. Breakfast was lovely with such a wide array of choice and the late check out is also a big hug thumbs up.

There was not really anything we did not like, saying this, the lifts we felt were quite slow.

Location. Nice and clean, modern.

Being charged £7.60 a pint and it served in the wrong brands glass. Bierra Moretti in a John Smith's glass. When asked for the correct branded glass (which I feel I shouldn't have to ask) they said they don't have any at all. This means that the bar manager is buying bulk and creaming the rewards. I bet Birra Moratti doesn't know their brand is being sold in a John Smiths glass, and I also bet neither does John Smiths know whats going on... Its standard practice at this hotel. Social media would be on fire if I shared the photos. Please sort this out. And the lift packed up halfway down to the bar and we had to walk back up.
