This is a nice property and I stayed for 8 nights. It's a walk-up so if you have mobility issues skip it, but if you're alright with a basic room at a good price in a central area, you can't go wrong. Standouts are that there's laundry around the corner for long stays and Paddington is a central hub that will drop you anywhere in the city and Heathrow. The staff was nice and the selection of nearby stores, cafes, pubs, and restaurants was great. Try The Victoria just a block away. It's one of my favorite pubs in the city and I was excited to see it was so close.

Be aware that as you trudge up the hotel stairs, the hallways narrow, making luggage harder to get to rooms above #23. BTW - I'm a rather large person (6'3" 230lbs) and the double room w/ BA was big enough for me, but another person and their belongings wouldn't fit. There's no AC, but the fans work well and I slept fine.

The rooms are tiny, though this is normal for London and especially for that part of the city. Was great value for money. It is normal to expect a modest room that just has all the basics for the cost of it. Was very small, though sufficient for one person. Same about the bathroom. The only real issue is that there are several floors and there is no elevator. And that could be a challenge for guests. The guy at reception was very kind and helpful.

The room was of good size with decent furniture and the staff is very kind. Also, the reception is open 24 hours. This location is ideal for me as it is very well linked with train and tube and there are many options for a quick meal and breakfast.

I was a bit surprised that the inner lock did not work, and as a result housekeeping ended up opening the door when I was in the room. The receptionist told me that the fire brigade asked the hotel to disable the locks, but this is the first time I hear of this, and I have stayed in many London hotels.

The location was super - just a few minutes walk from Paddington station and close to several pubs and restaurants. The staff was friendly, room was clean and as expected, check in was easy. In general a decent place for a short stay.

Perhaps some of these were partly because I didn't request them in advance. There were three of us, so I thought there would have been 3 separate beds, but we were assigned a 2-bed room where both beds were doubles. While the room was still comfortable, it could be quite narrow with 3 people around. If you had needed some invoice for your work, better ask in advance because I only had my booking.com booking confirmation as the invoice. But other than that it was a smooth ride.

The staff were absolutely amazing! We arrived at 10am and asked to leave our bags in Reception and the person who was on went out of their way to find us a room to check-in to straight away. By doing this we ended up with a slightly larger room witch two beds which was a bonus. I also liked that we were asked to leave our room key with reception when we went out, it gave me that extra piece of mind that I was one less thing to lose whist we were out exploring the capital.

Thankfully we were checked into a room with two double beds. I would say that these were both small doubles and because we are both a bit more on the curvy side (size 16 and XXL for reference) we ended up using both beds as we would not have had a comfortable nights sleep in just the one bed. I can't say if the standard double rooms have these size beds, but I'm more likely to book a twin if we stayed again just to guarantee a bit of extra space.

The room was very clean and even though it was a teeny tiny bit on the small side, it was very practical! The hotel doesn’t have an elevator and our room was on the top floor, but we didn’t mind. The hotel staff was nice and helped us kindly when we had a question, they greeted us everytime we walked past and overall gave us a welcoming feeling. The location of the hotel is AMAZING. It’s in the middle of London Paddington Station and Hyde Park, there are stores and shops and restaurants nearby and even though the hotel is in a busy city, we didn’t have any problems with sound! I’d highly recommend it!

The only thing that was a little bit uncomfortable was the shower that took very long to get warm. But again, we didn’t mind because when it finally got warm the shower was great!

Location was right off the lobby, which at first I thought it would be noisy, but it wasn't too bad. Close to Paddington station for train/underground transportation, lots of very good restaurants in the area. Housekeeping was great. Desk staff were very helpful. Room was a good size.

Bath was a bit small for what we are used to, but nice, however the shower had no places to put anything like soap, shampoo, etc and there was only towel rod to hang towels on and no clothing/towel hooks to hang anything on like on the back of the door... Plug in light for shaver didn't work.

Very good and simple place, you basically go here if you wanna be in the center of London. Staff was so nice, and the cleaners did a really good job. We're really thankful!

It's actually kinda hard to point out something out. This hotel has bad reviews, but I bet it's because of the old staff or something, because our stay here was perfect. Maybe the only thing that bothered us a tiny little bit was the fact that the shower sometimes switched to cold water for no reason? But it was only sometimes, not always, so...

Super convenient location. The room was quite comfortable even though it was a bit small. It was surprisingly quiet at night despite the location. And it was really good to have a fan in the room, considering the weather.

The room was a bit small. It was a struggle to fit both my and my partner's suitcases on the floor. The stairs were a bit steep, which wasn't a problem for us but might be unsuitable for people with limited mobility, e.g., due to disabilities.

Very good location, pretty clean, but a bit old. Very nice staff and easy check in and check out.

Room was very cold when we got there, it took a long time to get warm, and we gave them approximate arrival time . Bed is smaller than I'm used too and we asked for the crib in advance which was confirmed, but there was no crib in the room. Since it was only one night, we managed with small baby in bed with us.
