The Nayland Hotel

Staff members from reception to house keeping were super friendly and warm, they seemed genuinely happy to do their job, it’s even weird. The location is prime in London and I got a choice between two rooms I was shown. The one I picked was slightly bigger and the bathroom was bigger too. The bathroom also seemed recently renovated, it was brand new!

There is no WiFi in the rooms, none, not for a single day I was there for over the week. They say they’ve fixed it in the reviews but it’s just not working. The receptionist told me it works at reception. Luckily I had my unlimited 5G but the signal was also week in the building. The furniture in the bedroom and the common areas was also quite old and needs refurbishment. With some renovation and with fixing the wifi, this place can be a gem as they already have great attitude and customer service!

The staff were welcoming and everything was clean and well presented. The room was also cleaned very well, and the bed was comfortable with good sheets.

As with every hotel I've ever been to, the pillows are too soft and thin, and double stacking them never resolves this. I didn't ask for alternatives though.

Great location for everything! Amazing price, perfect for me and my two boys, would definitely visit and stay again ☺️ Have no idea what his name was, I should've taken it down but one of the receptionists was absolutely lovely.

Would've loved a kettle for a cuppa and an iron. This more than likley could've been given on request and I didn't bother asking!

the room size is ok hotel location is excellent and near Paddington station breakfast is ok but limited in varieties (continental breakfast)

the internet service needs improvement the wi-fi service was not good and the TV stations were limited

I stayed 4 days in this hotel and I have only good things to say. The room was very clean with view and the staff really professionals and very kind. Thanks all of you!

Clean & tidy, close to Paddington station, friendly staff, clean room, quiet, toiletries provided, hair dryer.

Coffee in room would be nice but for £47 I can’t complain. Lack of A/C would be a problem in hot weather.

Great central location close to Paddington station in safe and pleasant neighbourhood. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was good value. Having our own valuables safe in room is a plus. I welcomed the tea snd coffee provided free to guests from the lobby. They also kindly printed our airline boarding passes for us on our last day as well.

Very noisy breakfast room the second time we ate there - not the staff’s fault, just some very rambunctious child guests, but it turned us off returning for breakfast there again - small point, really. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but adequate - we were there for sightseeing and didn’t spend a lot of time in our room.

Breakfast was ok, not too many varieties and the staff were friendly and location is very good near Paddington station.

The internet service needs improvement
