Best Western Plus Delmere Hotel

The room, while small, has been very intelligently planned, maximising the space. The way the lights and airconditioning work is excellent. The staff, from the reception staff to the cleaning staff, were exceptional - courteous, professional, kind. The bed was very comfortable; and the TV has many many options. The bathroom was perfectly functional. The whole hotel was also very clean.

Very minor point - but the light on the TV, including a clock, could not be turned off and was right across from the bed.

Great to have the ability to make coffee and tea in the lobby area, and to easily replenish the supplies of this in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the option of several different pillow types within the room was appreciated. Overall, a great stay, and I will definitely book again!

My room was a ‘cosy double’, I think, which was perfect for me as a solo traveller. The double bed was against/very close to the wall, and the bathroom was very compact. This was fine for me as I had anticipated this (just a fact of hotel room design in older heritage properties), but if you are travelling in a couple or are less mobile, you should consider booking a larger room.

Outstanding location, 1 block from Paddington Stn meant it was so easy to get around the city and 17mins to Heathrow. The staff were fabulous and welcoming. This was a perfect base to explore London, just small rooms. Would stay here again.

The rooms were small but we didn’t mind, we just needed somewhere in a good safe location to sleep.

My single room was small (as is typically the case in London), but modern, safe and immaculately clean. Thanks to air conditioning, the room was also blissfully cool. The bathroom was clean, warm and modern with big fluffy towels. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I appreciated the possibility to leave my luggage at the hotel for a few hours after checking out.

I would've liked to have a minifridge in the room. Also the water pressure in the shower on the 4th floor could've been a bit better - rinsing conditioner out of long hair took some time. But both of these were minor issues and all in all I was very happy with my stay & would stay here again when coming to London. Also, good to know: The walls at the hotel seem to be quite thin, so you can easily hear people talking in the room next to yours & sounds from the corridor. This was not an issue as it was very quiet at the hotel during the night, but jif you are a light sleeper I would recommend having earplugs with you just in case.

Excellent location near Paddington station but off the main, busy street. There are a lot of little restaurants, pubs and shops nearby which made things easy. Paddington services 4-5 tube lines (including Elizabeth and the Heathrow Express) which makes getting in/out and around town VERY easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a backed up shower drain one day and they fixed it immediately. We enjoyed the beverage dispenser in the "Hub".

We had a standard twin room and it was really pretty tiny - smaller than expected. But we made do and everything was comfortable and clean which is more important!

the room was cleaned daily and perfectly. the location was perfect since the station was close by to the hotel and lots of restaurants around. good location. also the bed was comfy for me and my husband. since we have back pain issues normally the beds was perfect for us since we didn't have any backpain issues throughout our 7 day stay. the front desk was excellent. great service. they attended to our needs.

the size of the room. the cozy room could have been a bit bigger in size. also the bathroom was too small for our expectation since the room booked was for two people.

We were looking for a hotel close to Paddington station, with 2 single beds, for good value, with good reviews. This one didn’t disappoint! The room was compact but efficient, clean, surprisingly quiet, and recently renovated. It was even nicer than I’d expected. The breakfast/ reception area is done up in a trendy decor and although small its a nice bonus. We didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment. I think we paid about £140 for one night. This hotel was perfect place to crash after our girls’ evening out in London, and was easy to collect our bags and hop on the train home the next afternoon.

The area around Paddington isn’t necessarily the prettiest part of London, but we knew that before we booked so it didn’t bother us.

The hotel is in Paddington, the quartier that we love. This time we wanted to change hotel from the last times and I have to say that we took the right decision. The hotel has been renewed: the bathroom is new and very comfortable even if small. My single room was small but enough space for me, no complaint. The rooms are clean. The domotic system is great. Wifi very good. I recommend this hotel to whom want to stay in Paddington

The double room is very small (included the bathroom) but it is the characteristic of the hotels in London, unless high super luxury hotel is chosen. Breakfast not included, at cost of 9 pounds. Worth price for the kind of choice.

The staff was amazing. The technology in the room was both intuitive and practical (e.g., AC and room lights all controlled from a central console). The location was just perfect as well, within walking distance to both Paddington station and Hyde park.

While I am certain my experience with this hotel is typical for London, guests should know that if you are traveling with a stroller and small children, it may become a nightmare dragging your stroller and baggage to the half-floor-level room where your room might be in. For example, to get to our room, we had to take the elevator to the second floor, exit into the hallway, go through the stairwell, and walk down half a level to our room. It was a bit challenging.
