ABC Hyde Park Hotel

The personal was great and friendly. Everyday the cleaners provided fresh towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner as well as coffee, tea, milk and sugar. The room was very silent.

I didn't like the mould in the shower cabin. The room electric lighting was poor. No table for work. Somebody was smoking next to the window. The Wi-Fi connection was sometimes unstable.

The location is good, the room is comfortable and fits my needs. I stayed two days and went there only to sleep.

It was a bit noisy. My room was in the last floor and could hear every noise from the reception. I also could hear noises from the other rooms.

Excellent location

We needed a late booking just for 1 night and found ABC. The location was great and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Very basic but fabulous value for money. A great place for an overnight stay. Perfect for what we needed. The gentleman that we met there was so polite and helpful.

The only thing that gave us a slight worry was that we had a spotlessly clean shower room but it wasn't private. It was outside our main door and accessible to other visitors. It was a bit unnerving getting up in the night i must admit.

Fantastic location. I stayed for a month and it felt like a home base. Its humble and basic but has everything you need and just a couple of minutes or so walk from shops, buses,trains, supermarket. Staff were friendly. I would stay again next time I'm in London!

Quite a bit of road noise but I soon got used to it. It is Paddington after all! Room was small, but the window was huge which made the room feel larger.

I had one of the best sleeps I have had in a while. Location is fab! Just down the road from Paddington so easy to get to. The man at reception could not have been nicer and more welcoming. I had been running late so I didn't arrive until 11:30pm and I was welcomed in. The room I had was on the top floor so wouldn't be suitable for all, but for me traveling for work on my own was perfect.

The carpet in the hallway was dated. But this didn't impact on me or my stay.

I needed a place to stay when the water in my building was shut off - was looking for a working toilet, shower, and sink. Obviously the room exceeds expectations there. The room was quite comfortable, though the bathroom was a bit snug, that's normal for London. Overall it was good.

I was a bit apprehensive about some of the apparent dirtiness of the bed's...not sure what to call it, skirt? And there was a bit of weird staining on the wall, but the bed itself was clean! The remote didn't work but I got in late, and didn't really need to watch TV, so it wasn't a big deal.

Breakfast - N/A - but aparently where else can you get breakfast for a fiver in London? - SOunds like good value. Room - tidy, has the things you need, cleaned everyday - perfect for what I needed. Location is excellent - round the corner from Marble Arch, Hyde park, Edgeware road - easy walking restaurants and shops locally if needed - all walkable

I need a firmer pillow - I think pillows could be improved but look, this is minor stuff.

Really clean and tidy hotel. I had a little cosy room located on the upper floor with a street view, although very quiet and charming in its way. Great location, and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and well located hotel. Greetings to the Reception Team member that checked me in, hope to see you soon. Thank you. :)

Location was great. Good value for money considering is located in central London. The room was well sized with pleasant views. The breakfast facilities were well priced and gave plenty of options.

The staff working were accomodating yet vague. They were happy to help us and answered any questions but were not interested in chatting further.
