This was my 2nd time at Beverley House. Very friendly and welcoming staff! and it’s in a great location - close to Paddington station. We arrived early and they let us into the room. when checking out, they have a storage room. Thank you to all the staff for making our trip to London memorable!

This was in a great location quick walk from Paddington Station. No frills room, perfect for a one night stay. Beds were comfy, shower was hot. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is a little dated, but still a great value!

If you're not fussy about having a completely remodeled, new hotel room, you can't beat the price on this one. Amazing location, really nice front desk staff (always so cheery and polite), funky rooms but they have a fridge, a kettle, a microwave, tea and coffee, and quite comfy beds actually. Hairdryer and extension cord also in the room. They also made my bed every day :)

Bring a pair of earplugs if outside noises bother you. Not the loudest street under the window but the usual street noise and the neighbours talking can disrupt light sleepers.

Great location. Good size bathroom. Kettle with tea and coffee provided. I had room 504 which is right behind the reception on the ground floor so no stairs to walk. Room was small but there was everything you may need. Good size TV, safe, hairdryer, full length mirror, comfy bed. Next time I am in London I'll check if they have room available as it was definitely worth the money and area feels very safe for solo female traveller.

Bear in mind that it's an old building so has thin walls and you can hear pipes banging constantly. Nothing ear plugs wouldn't sort out tho. There wasn't duvet only the blanket but luckily it was a warm day so I wasn't cold.

Everything was flawless, since we got there the receptionist was really kind and helpful with all the questions we had, the location couldn’t be perfect, you are like a 3-4 minute walk from paddington station and the tube. Plenty of restaurants around the area, shops, a tesco and all you need for a comfy stay! the room was cleaned up every day as well, we got back to a clean room after walking all day. the heating was good, cuz we got to London during a cold snap.

the wifi signal wasn’t very good at the basement, but ain’t an issue as you still get signal.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location just a few minutes walk from Paddington Station with a good size room (quad). Clean and fairly comfortable. Able to store my bag before check-in and after check-out which was great. Light airy room. Close to cafes, shops and other facilities and about 15 minutes walk to Hyde Park and Oxford Street. Fairly quiet location too. Excellent value for money. Free tea and coffee in room along with a fridge and microwave. Warm.

No lift. Dated decor and a bit worn and tired in places. Hard bed. Stains on carpet. Very small shower room and had to dry off in the bedroom. Plates and cutlery but no teaspoon. No WiFi info in room. No milk in room/fridge. Small amount of noise from adjacent rooms.

Location to Paddington Station for easy transfer to Heathrow, Clean & good value for money. They were happy to look after our luggage while we did some sightseeing before check-in & after check out. Family room (4-beds) had a fridge, microwave & safe.

Not much. Space in the room was a bit limited, but typical for these type of town house hotel properties. Location of the fridge prevented the door from fully opening. Complimentary coffee in the room was not in individual sachets. Just in a jar that looked like a mix of old & new coffee granules. No teaspoons, but I'm sure reception would happily provide if requested.

Beverley House Hotel - whoever is complaining about the hotel standard, they don't know what they're talking about. For this price (we paid under £500 for an 8-night stay at a double room with a bathroom) and this location, it really doesn't get any better. Yes the room is small and the bathroom tiny. But so what? It's all functional. Fresh towels every day (which is an overkill, by the way!) and bed made every day, too (another overkill). It's very quiet there (at least on our side of the hotel - we stayed in room 503), no traffic noise and very moderate noise coming in from the other rooms). If you come to London to spend your time in a hotel room, you probably want to look for something more posh, but if you're traveling on a budget and only need a (clean) roof over your head, that's so far the best place I've stayed at in town. AND the first time ever that it was actually NOT a hostel with 10 other people in the room. Highly recommended, really. Lovely owners / staff. There's this elderly couple (not sure if they're the owners or if they're actually a couple at all) - Greek, maybe? Very very nice. The lady would speak to us every evening when we'd come back from the theatre. You can leave your luggage free of charge on the day of your departure (and arrival, too), no problems. Also, we were lucky as we got our room key as early as 11 am when we arrived! We only wanted to leave our suitcases and come back at 3 pm, but the gentleman said the room was available and we could have it - a very nice gesture indeed! It actually made our first day (after a very long night and the journey) much more enjoyable than we were hoping it to be. We will definitely be on the lookout for good price deals there next time we plan going to London!

The only minor complaint I might want to make is the hot water issue - but it's a common issue in most of cheap/budget London hotels/hostels. There were times that you needed to wait for the water to get hot for a quite some time, but eventually it always DID get hot, or at least warm enough, even if maybe not for too long... but no ice-cold showers, luckily... as it wouldn't have been nice in the middle of February.

Location is great to paddington station and london underground 5 min walk Plenty of food, cafe, groceries all in 2 streets next to hotel. Fresh fruit every morning and freindly staff

Bed headboard obstructing window so lack of natural light in an already small room. Tops of wardrobe havent been cleaned in a while with a pair of socks, dust and vermin traps also under the bed. If you are on the 3rd floor or above travel light as no lift and staircase could be an issue for some people but this was no issues to myself.
