Norfolk Towers Paddington

Location; near major railway station, easy access to airport and many locations in london and anywhere in UK May bus stops around, easy and safe to get back even late at night May restaurants around, a lot of Halal food, walking to Hyde park and Oxford street Reception staff very polite and helpful

Overpriced, but then all good hotels in London are Also, the room was small, though they gave us a bigger room

Convenient for both Paddington Station and underground. Both a short walk away. Breakfast was excellent. Was up graded to a suite which was brand new. Carpets had only been layed the day before. Wouldn't exactly call it a suite as no sitting area however was a nice room. Bed and pillows very comfy.

They have a bar and restaurant which wasn't open. Room was very warm even with radiators off and windows only open a couple of inches. very noisy at night from street outside.

Approachable and helpful staff who assisted with all queries and helped store luggage after checkout. Good quality room for I easy walk from national rail and tube.

The shower head is a fixed location and height which is a little frustrating. Very narrow corridors can be a little difficult to manoeuvre with luggage.

very small room and bathroom-big people or having lots of luggage would be very challenging. Requested a stand-alone shower months in advance and did not get-deep tub with 1/2 glass barrier made it difficult to get into. no counter space-just a sink in bathroom, and no plug for hair dryer in bathroom-not convenient for women-

Really Nice place

We booked a taxi through the hotell and They where a scam, we where told They took card but They started to wanted to send links, so when we said no They made us jump out to take out cash. It took so long to the AirPort we almost lost our flight. And when we paid cash he did not have change for a 100 other that small cash from a gum box. This was not a good Experience and all though the hotell was really good, They can not send travelers on taxi like this. So if you are traveling to the AirPort take the train!!

The bed was extremely comfortable and shower was amazing. Fantastic location only about five minutes walk from Paddington Station and felt extremely safe area to walk around. No issue at all storing luggage on our last day and we had a late flight. Staff were so helpful and accommodating particularly Moh at Reception. Bar in hotel doesn't seem to be open much but there is a selection of restaurants and bars close by.

Of note the Club room with double bed is an extremely small room so we upgraded to a Suite which was really comfortable. I hadn't realised this before I booked. Would definitely stay here again but wouldn't stay in Club double as even though we just used hotel as a base for our trip it was still far too small. There is only one lift and quite slow. The toaster is far too slow and needed to put bread through four times to even colour it!!

Great location, very helpful and pleasant staff. The room seemed to be recently renovated - new bathroom, mattress, carpet, etc. Very very clean.

The compressor in the a/c unit vibrated constantly - we couldn’t figure out how to get it to stop. About every 2-3 minutes it would turn on for 15 seconds then turn off. We finally turned the fan on high which helped drown out the noise a little, but we also resorted to earplugs and white noise machine. We would’ve sought assistance had it not been after 8:00 PM and if we were staying an additional night.

The breakfast was very good but may have been better if more choices were added. (ie: poached or fried eggs instead of just scrambled) Maybe add grilled tomatoes too, and a slotted spoon for the mushrooms. Bed was very comfortable.

We stayed for 12 days and the room they put us in was so small. My husband went down and told reception that if we had to stay in that room, we would be leaving. It was dreadful. Nowhere to put our luggage etc. Next day we were shifted to a much bigger and nicer room Only one problem there, but we lived with it! The bathroom door opened into the bathroom and we tended to get stuck by the toilet and hand basin. Would be much better if the door was changed to an out opening door.

The location is perfect for my needs. Heathrow-Paddington combined with my flight schedules is an important part of the trip. Metro stations and lines (Central, Circle, District and Elisabeth) are all very close. An excellent selection of shops, cafes and other stores in the nearby blocks. Hyde park next door! And the most important pubs for me are The Victor and The Swan nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel and the room (club double room) for me was really good. in my opinion, the absolute minimum for someone who is alone for a longer period of time. The room had been renovated some time ago and there was only a little wear and tear. USB charging points are a good addition. At least one of the USB ports on the wall had been broken, so a repair is needed (Room 305) The breakfast was sufficient, and the cafes in the area offered variety, offering excellent breakfast sets

Nothing really bothered me. This hotel with its experiences and the excellence of the room was for me the best I have received in the Paddington area for this price. And I can warmly recommend it.
