Belmont Hotel

Good location for the price. Full English breakfast included which was nice. Staff were helpful when I asked about turning off a light shining into my room.

Really basic, small room, felt pretty cramped. My room was unfortunately in the basement, looking into the storeroom.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Belmont in London and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warmest and friendliest staff who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. One particular incident stands out, highlighting the exceptional level of service at Hotel Belmont. Due to unforeseen travel delays, I arrived well past the standard check-in time of 12 midnight. I was worried that I might not be able to access my room until the following morning, but the staff's understanding and flexibility truly amazed me. Despite the late hour, they welcomed me with open arms, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free check-in process. This level of consideration and willingness to accommodate guests, even during unconventional hours, truly sets Hotel Belmont apart from other establishments. Moreover, the hotel's convenient location allowed me to easily explore London's iconic landmarks and attractions. Whether it was strolling through the nearby parks or accessing public transportation, Hotel Belmont's strategic placement made my sightseeing adventures all the more enjoyable. I wanted a hotel for two nights while I was visiting the Hyde Park area and the museums in Exhibition Road. This was available at a very reasonable price so I booked it and was very satisfied with the room, the service and helpfullness of the staff and the full english breakfast freshly cooked to order.

As someone who has lived in a ground floor flat for 14 years I found the staircase slightly daunting as my room was on the top floor but soon got used to them and the exercise was probably good for me. Unfortunately this a feature of the building and so cannot easily be changed

Breakfast was good, room very clean, bed comfortable, nice shower, brilliant location, and relatively quiet considering where we were. Would definitely stay there again.

Top floor so 53 steps to scale, but I can live with that. Bathroom very small for someone 6'3 it was a bit tight, main grouse was on the hottest day of the year in London, the radiator on the floor below was fully on and letting out hot air that made the room very warm. Despite mentioning this to staff it remained on for the entire weekend. But this didn't prevent us from having a great weekend, and I would certainly return to the Belmont.

The room was clean and tidy and had a wardrobe, ironing board, iron and most of the usual coffee/tea making stuff. Ideal for on overnight stay transiting through to Heathrow. I didn't book breakfast as it didn't start until 8am and I needed to be on the way to Heathrow before then. The guy at reception contacted me to confirm check times as I always intended to check in late (by 2100hrs latest actual check in 20.30hrs).

No English teat tea bags! Green tea, coffee, whitener, sweetener etc all there but no English tea - The drink I live on. I didn't discover this until the morning that I was leaving and wasn't going to cause a rumpus at 0630hrs!

Room was very small but rather comfortable. Exactly what I needed for a short stay with just a backpack. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in London. Breakfast was good and served in a nice, clean room downstairs. Wifi was also reasonably fast.

Stairs a little narrow at the top (and a lot of stairs) but that can't be helped with the building being what it is. Batteries in my tv remote were dead. Some very very minor complaints about breakfast, maybe a few more choices of breakfast cereal would be nice, and a printed menu as I wasn't quite able to catch everything the waitress said as the room was fairly loud with a good few people eating breakfast. These are all still extremely minor things.

Arrived Saturday for a quick getaway with my partner and 3 year old. Friendly welcome by a couple of young chaps, surprisingly one of them offered to carry our bags up to our room whilst I paid. I was then shown to our room. Opened the door and was instantly impressed with the size, cleanliness, the beds were comfy, 3 year old said they were the bounciest beds he’s ever been on. Literally dropped our bags and walked 5 minutes to the nearest station to sight see. Location and price were perfect and will staying here again when we come back

The location was excellent, we were lucky to get a parking space in the small car park when we arrived. Hyde park is only 4 mins away so we were able to walk everywhere. into Leicester Sq. Soho, Trafalgar Sq. etc.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic. They could only cook so many at a time so even though we were down for 8am it was nearly 9 before we were served. It was lovely when it came though. There was fruit, yogurt & cold food & plenty of Juice, tea & fresh coffee.

Room looked exactly like the photo’s, modern and a good size for us. Breakfast room has had a modern makeover and looked a lot better than the old pictures online.

Wifi didn’t work on the 2nd night and morning. Drawers could do with a clean inside. Breakfast could have abit more choice like coco pops for kids. We did find one slice of toast had abit of mould on but the rest was ok. Also we left used bath towels and rubbish outside our room and it wasn’t collected, would of liked fresh towels for the next day.

It was good value for the money, close to bus stops and underground. Having breakfast at the hotel was a nice start for the day.

The cleaning was even too good, we could have used the same towels for the duration of our stay, so maybe add that as an option? Also breakfast menu would've been nice
