Great location- Shoreditch is quirky and full of life with street art, markets and plenty of places to eat and drink. 3 nearby tube stops allow quick transport to all the London sights. Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and it is good value for money.

Breakfast was ok - the continental breakfast included was a little odd consisting of 2 croissants, yoghurt, a boiled egg and a babybel cheese! However you can pay £7.99 a day for a full English. I didn’t see anyone eat this to be able to comment. When I got there at check in time staff were using the lift to move cleaning stuff etc. They said lift was out of use so I had to carry cases up 3 flights of stairs.

The room was small, sure, but as it was expected for a central London location. I had a bedroom, a very nice bathroom with a very good shower, and a small entrance with a wardrobe. Everything was very clean. The staff was extremely welcoming. I dropped off my bag early in the morning and came back at 3pm for the check-in. The complementary breakfast was really good too, including the coffee. The Inn is right off Shoreditch High Street, a very popular location with bars and amenities, so it can get a little noisy at night during the weekend - as it was expected for such a central area of nightlife.

I liked everything. I wish their breakfast started a little earlier than 7:30 am so I could have had it even on the day of check-out when I had to catch an early flight.

Helpful staff even if quite busy. Reasonable prices for coffee/ soft drinks. Able to leave bags etc... at hotel before check-in. Proper functioning AC which was extremely neccesary in the heatwave. Great location close to useful tube stations, a market and many places for food and drink. Good soundproofing on walls and windows. Bath with properly functioning hot and cold taps. Fridge in the room. Good sized TV although we didn't really use it. Proper office chair at the little desk meaning I could work. Big room and large en-suite too. A lift. Consistent good wi-fi. Additional fan in the room. Good price for everything given.

Bed could have been a little more comfy. The woman on reception was clearly a bit stressed and wasn't the best at communicating exactly what was needed. Steep steps to get to each floor. Reception not being manned a decent amount of the time.

A very nice and cheap hotel, rooms are quite big actually, you’ve got everything you need for a short stay. There was a weird noise coming from the ventilation in the night that woke us up, but we turned it off and it stopped so we could sleep normally. It is quite far from the city centre, but there is an underground station 10 mins on foot from the hotel, so that’s not an issue at all. The location itself is really nice and quite, not dodgy at all. We had a wonderful stay over Christmas, so if you’re going to London and are looking for a cheap but nice hotel — that’s the right place!

Ventilation noise (but you can turn it off and it stops) Furniture is quite cheap (but it’s ok really)

A smaller hotel; which is fine..never a long wait for the lift or the included breakfast, which was wonderful by the way.. fresh croissant, tea or coffee, small yogurt and a boiled egg..just enough to start your day. (SPOTLESS dining area as well ). Friendly staff..someone at the desk 24hrs, and fresh towels every day. PLUS a (very) small fridge with a complimentary water. NOW the neighborhood: it IS young with a pub right outside the door.. there is alot of street art which I found very interesting but some may not. The streets were busy on the weekend but what area isn't? We could easily walk to the tube station and a very easy walk to Spitafields and Columbia Flower mkt. Food everywhere and there is a large park for sunning only 6blks away. A church with a nice garden directly across from the hotel. I would return as it isn't touristy but more of a college town feel. The room is spartan but we were hardly in it so decor didn't matter; it was so clean.Oh, did I mention the towel warmer? HEAVEN !

Only one small blip and that is the shower. It is quite large BUT it is almost a wet room. The shower curtain just needs to be a wee bit longer/wider and problem of slipping and sliding solved. Small thing really considering how great everything else was.. Again, like everything, absolutely spotless..so happy.

The Shoreditch Inn exceeded our expectations of a budget hotel. Our room was very clean and our bed very comfortable with a very clean ensuite shower room. The room was serviced each day. The print of Tower Bridge above the bed was very fitting as we spent a bit of time around there. The staff were pleasant and helpful - quick to sort out TV as it didn't work when we were first allocated our room. The complimentary breakfast was filling - particularly enjoyed the fresh, heated croissants and yoghurt. The sound proofing was effective, heard very little external noise despite our room facing a main thoroughfare. The location is ideal for getting around whether by bus, underground or walking - being avid walkers we did loads of the latter!

Views of a solo traveler from Los Angeles, who stayed here for several days, while sightseeing by day, and working (remotely) by night. The big plusses: --Wonderful staff. Everyone from guy manning the coffee shop, to the night crew, to the cleaning person, everyone made you feel welcomed. --Close enough to major attractions, without paying an arm and a leg at the centralized hotels. Only 5 minutes from the Shoreditch line (and from here, a few stops to the major sights). --Excellent wifi. Worked remotely from late afternoon to midnight. No issues whatsoever. --Near Shoreditch and Hackney, where there are great coffee shops, restaurants, and some nightlife. There is a Dishoom nearby, if you like good Indian food. --The room was clean, and there's a fridge and a coffeemaker. A small desk for work. I didn't use the TV.

Nothing, really. Met my needs.

The hotel is located 10min by walking from Liverpool Street Station. It's served by bus headed towards tubes and stations. The room for two was clean and neat, included the bathroom which I'm picky about. We appreciate they provide slippers besides towels and toiletries. The bed and sheets were very comfy and smell of clean.

Just one little quite bad side note is about the staff. Two employees on front office were not very welcoming and helpful for little queries. Besides, we appreciate the other employee that warm-welcomed us upon our arrival.

The room was relatively spacious, with a comfortable bed and a great little bathroom stocked with plenty of toilet paper, soap, and 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. The location in Shoreditch was the perfect spot from which to launch our London adventures! It's very close to buses and a short walk from both Shoreditch High Street on the Overground line and Old Street on the Northern Line. We also loved the proximity to great Shoreditch restaurants and Box Park. The hotel felt very secure, as we needed our guest key card to enter the building, at which point in the lobby there was always a staff member at the desk to welcome us, and then we had to use the key card again to enter our room.

Our thermostat didn't seem to work; the A/C was always just blowing super cold. This wasn't a huge issue because it was summer and their having A/C was one of the reasons we booked this hotel in the first place, but it would've been nice to be able to change the temperature in the room without opening the windows.
