San Domenico House

This hotel has a perfect location in Chelsea. Very convenient to get to from the airports and very easy to get around to the rest of London, if you'd like. However, the area itself was incredible just for wandering around, shopping, and dining. The staff were also truly wonderful. Kind, helpful, and very attentive. They made the experience well worth what we paid. The nightly turndown service and welcome glasses of prosecco were lovely. Our room and bathroom were clean and the maid service did a great job each day.

The only thing we would point out is the building and the rooms are old and should probably be updated. We're not very particular when it comes to things like this, so, for the price we paid, we felt we received great value staying here. But if you're pretty particular about 5-star accommodations, this place might not meet your standards. If you're looking for a very comfortable hotel with awesome staff and a perfect location, though, this place is for you!

What a wonderful place, beautifully decorated with a lot of charm and warm-hearted people! Highly recommend it if you want to have an authentic and very special experience. From the moment you enter the door of this boutique hotel, you feel very welcome and everything is smooth and pleasant. We booked this place for the Birthday anniversary celebration, and indeed we did feel very special and festive there! Our room was upgraded, it did feel joyful and very romantic! Upon arrival, we had special treats in the room with some nice chocolates, a glass of bubbles and a Birthday card! Very caring and sincere attention towards their guests, you want to come back to this place again! I would like especially to thank Carlo, who was very attentive, kind and genuine, making our stay so special and memorable!

We loved the location and the quaint and friendly nature of the boutique hotel. The staff, at least those who spoke English, were super helpful and addressed all of our needs including an early check in for the weary travelers we were. I definitely would recommend this hotel to friends and family - especially those who are looking for a location not in the center of the hustle and bustle of London.

My only comment is that at certain times of day the staff was not able to communicate in English - only Italian. This wasn't a huge concern but did present a problem when I had a question.

The decor is beautiful, and it has lovely little touches like Penhaligon Toiletries, cocktails on the roof terrace and the beautiful lounge with tea. Each team member I dealt with was lovely, so helpful and professional. The location is in a really beautiful part of London, about a 7 minute walk from Sloane Square underground, or a 20 minute walk to Victoria. Buckingham Palace, The V&A, Natural History Museum, Harrods, Hyde Park are all within east walking distance. The room was quite small, but it was perfect for my needs

The hotel was stunning, really quirky and abstract from what we are used to. The room was lovely and well kept, the layout was different but we liked that about it. The bed was unbelievably comfy and we had a choice of programs and films. The staff were so helpful and friendly! Also, the location was perfect for us to get around easily.

The lighting could have been a little better, maybe around the mirror. And the shower was a little tough to work, with the temperature.

Upon arrival I received a free upgrade to a Junior Suite. I was only there for a night but the room was exceptionally luxurious, the bed comfortable, and the general atmosphere was welcoming. All the staff were very attentive in the few interactions I had with them. The continental breakfast was wonderful and ensured a good start to the day. The location is in easy walking distance of Sloane Square tube station.

The staff is very well trained and hospitable. They are polite and always helpful. The hotel is charming and feels like a home. It is exceptionally clean and well kept. I also like the location in a quiet and residential neigbourhood but within minutes to Sloane Square

Some of the items in the room like the safe and the faucets are old fashioned . You need a bit of time and help to operate. A coffee maker in the rooms would have been appreciated.

breakfast was very slow - we waited for 35 minutes just to get a coffee despite only being the 2nd couple in the dining room. Ordering food was a bit and miss due to lack of English by the waitress. when it arrived it was lovely but eye watering Lu expensive!! would I stay again? possibly but not j close breakfast with the room as there are enough nearby cafes.

Lovely clean hotel, great staff. Nice touch to offer a glass of prosecco on check in. Lounge downstairs was beautiful with complementary tea and coffee. Location being minutes away from the Kings Road was perfect. Views from the roof top terrace is great. There is a mini bar in the room, but very expensive.

Sadly there is no coffee making facilities in your room, which for me is a big drawback. There is not a bar in the hotel, but you can order drinks and have them either in your room or in the lounge. Room service is available but basic meals are offered.
