Staff were friendly and very attentive during our stay. Beds were very comfy in the rooms. The bar was quirky and fun, it is a beautiful venue.

The rooms were a lot smaller than we expected from the website photos. No breakfast included in cost, which made rooms feel pricey. Minimal tea and coffee provided in room, no water or glasses. A daily visit to top up was noted on our 2nd night though, including an offer of fresh towels. All rubbish was cleared daily, a bonus in small spaces. The rooms were a little dusty and cobwebs were seen in hard to reach places, basic cleanliness could be improved.

Breakfast Well cooked very nice disappointed there wasn’t toast and that you could only have one cup of tea and no fruit juice not as good value as the one I stayed in on the way down which was also £20 cheaper thought it was a nerve charging for car park. Then having to haul luggage up and down an outside staircase when I am 77 and my husband 84. Would not stay again because of that which is a shame because accommodation was lovely.

Very brief stay but the hotel was nice. Only had a drink at the bar but it was pleasant. Very helpful and friendly staff person who checked me in

Dust and cobwebs in the room. Someone’s old toothbrush on the floor behind nightstand. Room was in good shape and wasn’t really dirty but rather looked like it hadn’t been used for a bit and could have done with a quick spruce up before guests arrived.

Excellent location, we are locals and used the accommodation as a base camp for a surprise party. The location was perfect for what we wanted. However, if you don't know the area Morpeth is a lovely small town and a great base for exploring Northumberland.

The room was beautifully designed but small and the storage space was adequate for a short stay but may be limited for anything longer.

Loved the bed it was sooo comfy! Bath in room was the best & you could turn the tv to watch in bed and bath which was really handy. Friendly staff. Netflix in room. Cocktails were lovely.

Only 1 toilet roll. Bar only had nuts as snacks. No robes in room which it stated but they did apologise. No room service either which was stated. Back fire exit door to get in and out of after 10pm is defos not ideal.

Nice hotel good location

Once the bar shuts at around 12 the entrance is not the easiest to find at the rear of the property, could probably do with more signs or something in the room to explain better, as sign in window of bar says first gate to left however this is a drive to private properties so wasn't the easiest to find in the dark after a few drinks.
