I was very disappointed with hotel. I paid for a room with a view. My first room had a view but after 3 hours Air Condition was not working. I insisted the put us in another room with working A/C which they did. However in the next room we had no view as promised & paid for. Our view was of the wall of the building. When I stated we did not have a view attendant at desk told me “ you have a window so that is your view” I was very Very disappointed with his comment& how I was cheated out on what I paid for. No compensation was ever offered for this failure of the Warwick to give me room with a view!!!!

Hotel staff at check in desk failure to meet my reservation of a room with a view. I wis I had gotten the male workers name

1) Location 2)Receptionist at front desk, very welcoming and cordial! 3) Ambience (antique with old) 4) Very nice room, spacious 5) Great bed and linens and towels

1) The heater didn't work. We arrived tired, and NY was cold that night (56), and the heater blew cold air. We complained next day, yet no one came to see the problem for the second night. 2) The door to enter the room doesn't offer any privacy. We could hear when the person next door left, entering the room...or leaving the room, as it was our own room.

We met wonderful cleaning woman on the upper floor who was very kind and helpful. We were grateful for her.

The staff at the desk were curt and not at all welcoming. As the first people we met at the hotel ,they were less than helpful with any basic request we had ( such as whether there were any teabags we could take to the room for the morning, as we are not coffee drinkers. Even if there wasn't any ( which was a surprise) the response did not have to be so snippy. We were given the feeling that we were an intrusion. We think the front desk staff would benefit from some training from the hospitality staff at Disney World. Will we be returning to the hotel? Probably not. There are many other hotels in NY where we have felt valued. Yours was not one of them. A pity.

Location was amazing - so close to everything. Bed and pillows were so comfortable- slept like a baby. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was on the pricey side although I realize these are New York prices and served in a restaurant- 8 dollars for a glass of cranberry juice and same for a cup of tea seem steep though. The breakfast itself was just ok quality wise.

After reading the other reviews I was a bit concerned about the room size. The room size was fine, actually bigger than some other NYC rooms! Don't let the reviews scare you, it is what you expect in a NYC hotel, but a bit better.

All was fine. Be sure to double check that the hotel gives you the rate you booked at on Booking.com. They charged us a higher room rate but quickly corrected it.

Great location.

We asked for a double bed bedroom. The room was a good size. However, the full beds are not true to size and do not fit two average sized persons. The beds are more like a twin sized bed. Those who had to share a bed, slept very uncomfortably.

Very comfortable room with lots of space in a great location.

While it is clean and comfortable, the interior design is not cutting edge. During the week the hotel was relatively quiet, but got very full at the weekend, which meant the elevators were slow.

I liked the location of the hotel, the room was a very good size and was cleaned daily with fresh towels each day.

I felt the general feel of the hotel was dated and it could do with a refurb, there was a general appearance of darkness. Didnt like that we had to pay to store our bags having stayed in the hotel for 4 nights, although it was only a minimal charge. I think the hotel would also benefit from having a refreshment room for guests who are not leaving the city until late in the afternoon / evening - rather than having to try and manage to refresh in the unairconditioned bathrooms.

We were stranded in NYC due to a snowstorm so I picked this location for being near Central Park. The location was outstanding not only because it was between CP and Times Square, where we saw a musical, but there were lots of stores and a variety of restaurants around (inexpensive, expensive). We had an incredible time walking in the park in the snow despite temps in the 20s. Also, it's convenient to get to the airports, either by the F train or taxi. We upgraded to a junior suite and it was very spacious, had a great window to watch the snow, and just felt 'luxe'. The hotel is not overly new but has a certain grandeur, and the staff were unfailingly courteous and friendly.

The original room I booked, a King bed room, was smallish and had two windows each opening to a view of a brick wall a few feet away. No real outside light, and it would have been essentially like a windowless room. For $50/night more I upgraded to the Jr. Suite which was well worth it. Small point, but there were no real water glasses in the room, or other utensils despite having a small kitchen area (sink, fridge, microwave). Not even a wine opener. It seems like if you pay $250/night for a room, it would have actual glasses and not just plastic cups. For some reason, I was double charged for the facilities fee on the upgrade, but it was clearly just an oversight and no problem to correct. No free coffee in lobby, but coffee was reasonably priced in the restaurant.
