Le Meridien New York, Central Park by Marriott

Location was perfect and the hotel amenities overall but what made our stay exceptional was the great service of reception and concierge.

We would prefer a lobby area where we would be able to have a coffee and chat.

Good location for us We had an issue where my husband thought he either lost his backpack or left it behind. I called concierge and she had housekeeping check for us and saved us from a very difficult day of him worrying. Very helpful. Greatly appreciated

It showed some wear and tear. The doors between our adjoining rooms didn’t work the curtain in my sons room were off the side of the rod and he couldn’t move, his sink looked like it might disconnect from the wall. Staff was great. No shampoo in the room..but we recieved once we requested

Noise during the evening inside the hotel. First two nights I could hardly sleep. Breakfast at the top was not great. Rooms don’t have properly opening windows therefore cannot breathe nicely.

Great location, easy valet parking, good value, clean rooms, friendly staff.

Service at restaurant bar was slow, even though it was mostly empty. The espresso machine wasn't working and it took them twenty minutes to tell us after we ordered our coffees. Minor quibble, but having coffee available for guests is just one of those ground-level basics that hotels should always nail.

We had an amazing stay here! Room was lovely, beds comfortable, very clean, and incredible bathroom. You cannot beat the location! We walked from the hotel to Times Square, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral quite easily. And, of course, Central Park is right there and we had a lovely time walking around on an unusually warm December day. Staff were super friendly and breakfast was complimentary. We even arrived early and our room was already available. Would highly recommend!

I don’t have any bad things to say. We had an amazing stay!

Great service, very good Covid protocols, we are very comfortable staying at this hotel and are now frequent visitors.

The only downside is that there are still no food or drink services in the hotel.

Pricing of WiFi service

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The staff was wonderfully attentive and thoughtful, the rooms were clean and efficient, and the bed was so comfortable (I spelt great)! Great location, too! Very comfortable, great shower, especially coming in after a late fun night. Very relaxing and private.

Beautiful room, great location, very friendly and helpful porters. I was traveling alone with 2 kids and the porters helped me with my bags as I pulled up the car so I didnt have to drag everything around the block to the parking garage.

For a luxury hotel their could be better amenities, for example complimentary bottled water in the room. I suggest complimentary still and sparkling water in sealed/ re-fillable glass bottles. I had this at a luxury hotel in london and I loved it because you always want water while traveling, but I don't like the use of small single use plastic bottles.

Location and staff were fabulous!! Clean , comfortable room . The bed was super comfy and the room was very quiet. We loved that everything was steps from the front door yet not as jammed pack with people and noise. 5 min walk to Central Park was amazing!! We will be back!!

Paying for wifi is not my favourite thing but essential for us.
