Courtyard by Marriott Houston Galleria

Keyona at the front desk was my favorite! She's friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I appreciated her welcoming smile. She made me feel very welcomed immediately. All other staff was also amazing...even the house keeper who was so kind and friendly...I left her a tip. The hotel is physically is good. It was clean and comfortable. Great location. But in my opinion, what makes the hotel so fantastic...the staff. I loved that everyone I spoke to seemed to really like thier job. I also liked "no hidden fees." The price I was given is what I paid.

There are areas where the molding is held on with tape... around the elevator area. There were other spots were maintenance is needed. But the room (1005) was Aok. The windows were very dirty, so kind of a bummer we couldn't get pictures of the nice view... again not really a bother, but a washing would be nice. My daughter sleep on the sofa bed. She said it was like sleeping on springs...so maybe time to look into a new mattress.

In our room we kept hearing a water type sound. (water heater) Also would be nice to have just the usb outlets near the bed since we didn’t bring the plug adapters

Cleanliness

The front desk woman was rude ? Told me several times I didn't have a reservation after I had talked to several employees prior to arriving as I needed to come and show actual card because my exp date was in correct and I was tired from plane ride @6am.

good location and for the most part very clean and spacious

well there was gum on the floor which we didn’t know about and the cleaning lady just barged in and didn’t knock on door to come in and inspect it.. then got a young fellow to come clean it… while we were very greatful they cleaned it from pervious guest, we just would have liked them to have knocked and asked to enter.

The location was great and hotel was clean.

The cafe in the lobby closes at 10am, and it would be nice if it stayed open a little longer, or at least have a coffee bar that stayed open for most of the day. During winter months, a heated pool would have been nice as well. Pool was cold.

The bed was comfortable

No water in the rooms coffee maker no water there should be water in the rooms even if it has to be purchased very inconvenient, I was very unhappy! wWhen I asked about water I was told you can come down and get it, it would have been nice if they offered to bring it to my to room. Water is a necessity it should be in the rooms I was very disappointed.,,

For the most part the room and hotel were ok. We did have to move to another room and there were still issues with the room but I must say everything was handled very quickly. If it was not for Adam the general manager my stay would have been worse. Adam is thee greatest he took care of our problems and moved us to another room within a matter of minutes literally. The whole staff has great customer service which made me feel so much better but Adam is the BEST!!!!! The rest of my stay was very comfortable. PSA: The rooms could use updating but still comfortable

The issue of the housekeeping and maintenance with rooms, the first room bathroom had dirty towels still in the bathroom and the second room had a toilet leak, the pool closes at 7pm

I was greeted immediately when I walked in along with everywhere I went being extremely clean. I pretty much saw someone cleaning something every time we came out the room or went downstairs.

The parking garage is slightly confusing when scanning your card. Don’t forget to scan when you got out even if the gate already opens. It will charge you for 24 hours if you don’t. I learned the hard way.

Close to dentists office because I didn't want to figjt Houston traffic. Controls on the shower, clean comgprtable.

Horels in the Galleria charge $21/day to park. You dont find that out until you vheck in. Not on Booking website.. Older hotel
