Hampton Inn Houston Near the Galleria

I liked the location, right next to a target, Starbucks, and a bunch of restaurants. Loved how many pillows and towels were already in the room, very spacious room, nice restrooms, staff was very friendly.

I did not like how you have to pay for parking at the hotel, I’ve never had to pay for hotel parking unless it was valet but this was not the case. I also did not like the TV in the room, the screen was either partially broken or there was just poor connection, but there was static green lines all over the screen when on.

The breakfast was very good each morning. It was great having a fridge and microwave in the room. The location was perfect to get to my appointments on time. The staff was courteous and very nice.

That the trash can in the room and bathroom were bigger. You put one cup in it & it's full. Also, it would have been nice to have both elevators working.

What I didn’t like was the charge for me to park in the hotel parking lot it was not mention when I made the reservation also the twenty dollars deposit,a 79.00$ room after everything i pay 136.00$, I believe everything should be out on the open no hidden fee

It was very clean

The hotel is a good choice to have a clean room with a small fridge and a microwave. The sofa is soft and comfortable to relax my body. Bonus facilities include a swimming pool and a fitness center. And the staff was polite to help me check in.

The breakfast is a bit simple without many choices. Parking fee of $20 per day is insane since all cars park outside not in a garage. Room window is small to let natural light shed inside.

Oh Em Gee we were only staying for the night but we enjoyed our stay so much we extended for another night which we just checked out and checked in that evening. We already had an awesome room. But the second night oh my we had an even bigger room it was beautiful and comfortable.....my babies actually want to drive down to Houston just to stay there! This is definitely going to be my go to stay anytime we come to Houston or Galveston. I give the area 5 stars The staff 5 stars the service 5 stars the room 5 stars and the breakfast 5 stars and the price as well 5 stars. You guys are totally awesome

There wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay...Everything was perfect!

Everything was so close to our location. We went shopping, out to try new eats, sightseeing, and drove secondary routes to stay away from busy freeway. We had a wonderful time too bad it was too short. The pool was perfect for a cool dip after a hot day out.

Fitness room was a little too small.

It was a little complicating to check in at first but after that we had no problem. The environment is very peaceful and nice. I enjoyed my staying there. The room was very nice and clean. Would totally recommend.

The location is good, walking two walks down is a Target and in front of the hotel there’s a Starbucks and an Antoine, where you can eat something. The Galleria is close to the hotel by car.

I don’t like that we found a cockroach in the room, that was disgusting. And also there were tiny insects in the bathroom. But besides that everything was good, the breakfast is good enough and the bed and the room are ok, just for getting some sleep is good.

Everything was fine except we booked a special handicap room for my mom but they gave the room away before we got there. The receptionist said you may not always get what you booked. That’s not good. Why would you give me options then not give me my option. I did some looking around to find the room we wanted then be told you may not always get what you asked for. I may stop going thru booking.com if that is the case.

Very clean place. Convenient location , personally choose this hotel to be closer to my friend’s house , but all other stuff like restaurants and facilities are also 5-10 min away , Starbucks across a street , 5 min walking for example . Parking fenced and secured , this is paid parking , but was free when I stayed.

Got there by election time . This hotel was one of election places , so lots of people at lobby during daytime. But this is 4 year occasion, so you should not worry for next four more years.
