The hotel and restaurant staff were superb. The restaurant had a lot of staff rostered, and every single one that I dealt with was exceptional. The reception staff went above and beyond and were very friendly. The views from our room were stunning. The room was spacious and clean. We loved the heated towel rack. Parking was convenient and secure with large spaces for bigger cars.

We would have liked room service and undercover access to the restaurant from our room (as it was raining). The weather did not permit us to try out the swimming pool, which we would have liked to try. The big breakfast didn't seem very big, but the food was lovely.

Actually I like everything about the property. The unit was very clean and incredibly comfortable. It has all the basics that you might need during a holiday. Modern touches welcomes you with comfort. Quite and cosy. Just in the middle of 2 beaches. The bistro and restaurant serves delicious food, the view and the sound of the waves are so relaxing. I definitely would stay here again..Longer, next time.

Having small treats/snacks would be great(biscuits, small piece of chocolate..)

Great view, friendly staff - except one (bouncer) who decided bar was closing 30 minutes early without telling others (he was a little aggressive towards some guests during his shift, unfriendly attitude - shorter, muscly guy). A real shame as other staff were terrific - very friendly, helpful & professional. He belonged in a Sydney pub as a bouncer with an attitude. Courtesy bus was a bonus too. (Ryan a helpful person)

Headlands is an outstanding property that I return to again and again. The Austinmer headland location can’t be surpassed, and the housekeeping team keeps the well-appointed rooms looking clean and inviting. They are to be commended. The reception team are welcoming and helpful, without being fussy. Actually that’s one of the great things! There is no fuss. Everything works - from the keycard through to the air conditioning to the TV. You can focus on your reason for being there. The beds and showers are fabulous. The balconies cover a range of vistas - all reminding you that you’re on this beautiful piece of land between the escarpment and the sea. The kitchen is properly stocked (everything matches - it’s those little things that make a difference!) and parking is undercover and secure. Thank you for another great stay. As always, I wish it were longer.

Kitchen closed 30 minutes earlier than advertised at 8;30 pm Catering cashier walked away and offered no alternative directions to any other locations for dinner at 8:00 pm on a Monday night to interstate visitors ..... some hospitality ... NOT good enough !!!! Hospitality training required immediately -- its a tourist destination FFS !!!!!!

The staff were most helpful and friendly,in the accommodation section and also in the Hotel.The location is amazing and the rooms are clean and spacious.We had a back room and although we didn’t have an ocean view, we had a beautiful view of the mountain .Loved our stay here.

The only criticism we had was the bed was too soft but maybe that’s a personal preference.

Beautiful apartment with stunning scenery. Loved how everything we needed was right there to use. Very family friendly and staff were friendly.

Our apartment had a bad smell as soon as we walked in like someone had cooked food that had been left there too long and the tiles in the bathroom were not scrubbed properly. The second room I booked didn't have any smell. Otherwise it was very beautiful and tidy. We aired out the room that resolved the smell.

A stunning location and a beautiful, generous size apartment with gorgeous ocean views, and just minutes away to the beach.

The apartments are right next to the Headlands bistro, a popular with the locals and holiday makers venue, with noise from the outside bar area well into the night. We also had quite a noisy party in one of the neighbouring apartments, so not ideal if you are after a restful break.

We’ve stayed at a hotel in Sydney before that was much more expensive, and your property was 100 times better - more spacious, a kitchen, oven, microwave, large fridge, free WiFi and not to mention right next to a beach!

That we didn’t stay longer 😅 next time we’re definitely doing a minimum of 3 nights stay. I think it also might be good to have a poster or information booklet/email with nearby attractions, fun things to do as sometimes google doesn’t show you everything. (But this isn’t even a big deal)

A fabulous location overlooking the beach with very easy access to the sand. The bistro had a great selection of food and was really handy as we just had an overnight stay. The room was large and well equipped with nice little touches like T2 teabags.

Our patio was below ground level which was beautifully secluded but made it very dark. Just a case of picking a different room next time!
