We had the opportunity to have 3 stays at this hotel with the chance to experience different rooms. All comfortable and very clean. The rooms with the view to the garden are worth the additional cost as the view from and over the golf course to the mountains are stunning, especially from the suite. The majority of staff is very friendly at reception and restaurant. The restaurant and bar have a good variety of options and the quality is excellent. Very good breakfast! The hotel is also very well located to many attractions in the region as well as to a base point to explore the peninsula.

Beautiful location with views over water and mountains from the restaurant, grounds and 2 hot tubs. Very spacious, clean room (King size) and very comfortable large bed. It was a great base from which to explore the stunning landscapes and visit Bodir, Husafell, the northern part of the Golden Circle. We had the added bonus of seeing stunning northern lights on our first night there which was absolutely magical. Great value compared to other hotels we stayed in during our trip to Iceland - would highly recommend

Building itself not particularly attractive, but didn't matter and very happy to have stayed there. Given good size of bedroom and bathroom it would have been a bonus to have had a bath as well as a shower.

Super nice staff. They upgraded our room as a no cost option, a room with awesome views. They have a very nice hot tub and sauna available for the guests. The rooms are big, very clean and have nice amenities. Abundand a varied breakfast.

Wonderful selection at breakfast but not really as hot as I would like it. Clean, decent rooms, good value for money, a little outside of the Borgarnes so really quiet, lots of parking.

For a country that can get really cold, the insulation of the rooms was surprisingly mediocre - not that you would notice it because there's sufficient heating, but there was a lot of condensation on the door after a cold night.

Amazing restaurant staff!! we arrive later than expected and the kitchen was already closed, but they managed to serve us a fantastic soup, a carpaccio and a delicious desert. The room was comfortable and the hot tub is a must at the end of the day.

Comfortable clean and spacious rooms, lovely breakfast, outdoor hot tubs and sauna. Loved relaxing in the lounge area. On-site restaurant is nice, although menu is limited. Evening staff was very welcoming.

Unfortunately hot tubs work on first come basis - a system where you book slots may allow more guests to have a chance to use it instead of it being occupied for hours by the same guests.

the service is top notch, the rooms are very nice, there is a sauna and hot tub. and if you leave your room number at the reception they will call you if the northern lights appear .

The temperature controller wasn’t working in our room , so they gave us a plug in fan heater.

The breakfast was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The scenery with the mountains and golf course was great.

The outside patio door for the room was hard to close, latch and lock and there was no room number outside the door from the patio to discern which room was which.
