The hostel is one of the best ones that I've been to so far. The common areas are very well-equipped, large, and comfortable, everything was ultra-clean. The rooms are fresh and enjoyable. It's such a great place to meet people as the common areas, lounge, kitchen and outdoor terrace make it very easy for one to connect. Kawaguchiko is a beautiful village, and I would definitely repeat it. You can rent bikes from them as well! Free coffee from 8 am to 10 am for the caffeine addicted.

The beds don't have curtains, in which case, it could be annoying if you the other people in the rooms tend to have lights on.

The staff seemed very friendly and helpful during my stay. I got a free laundry ticket, as I was staying more than 2 days. Everywhere was clean. There was a common area and kitchen. The shower was hot. The location was great, it was very close to a bus stop to get to places further away, a short walk to Lake Kawaguchiko, shops and restaurants.

I wanted to reduce my stay, as my plans had changed but they would not refund 1 night. Also, my travel diary was either stolen from people in my room, or the staff found it and didn't want to send it to me, so told me that it wasn't there. Either way, it's not great. I would have given a higher score if this hadn't happened. Especially as the diary is of no value to anyone but me, so makes no sense why anyone would want it.

Everything is ok. I had concerns of staying with strangers, but in Japan no need to worry, your staying together is all fine. Just keep in mind you are sharing with other, so if you are waking early to do your personal stuffs, then it is easy for you. you have bathrooms in all floors, which you can use. everything is ok. I borrowed bicycle and went a long round in the southern bank of Kawaguchiko and had taken good photos.

Japan generally is pricy compared to south east asian countries. So, that was only hitting my budget. But its ok and worth.

It felt like a home. Very comfortable and homey vibes. My favourite kind of hostel. Amazing kitchen with bits to cook with. Lots of bathrooms that are hot. Beds comfy. Bike rental and cute slippers. The lounge was a lovely place to chill Location is great, near the lake and bus stop around the lake and to center. Such a beautiful path near by to view fuji. You can see fuji pretty much anywhere. Staff very helpful and kind.

No curtain on bed was a little impersonal but you get used to it.

Location, nice staff, good stay for its value. Next to the hotel is convenient store 24/7 and BBQ restaurant which works till 11 pm (it is cool since the majority of restaurants in this place are closed about 8).

On a street against my window was unfixed drain greed, which loudly clicked when a car drive through it, so every morning it was my wakeup call. Traditional Japanese furniture in the room may be inconvenient to European traveler, but, on the other hand, it's a cool opportunity to experience Japanese lifestyle.

K's House Mount Fuji was a great option for us to stay as a family. Excellent location, close to restaurants, convenience stores, and tourist spots. The staff is just incredible! They are friendly and helpful with everything you need. The Japanese-style room was a plus! We could buy food at the market and prepare meals in their well-equipped kitchen. There is a big shared multi-purpose room with couches, tables, a hammock, games, books, and a TV where people hang out, talk, eat, drink, and share their adventures. You meet people from all over the world. It's such a lovely vibe!

The heater took a while to start working. The room was a bit cold for the first 20 minutes.

It is very spacious, especially the kitchen and the lounge room. I love the organisation, cleanliness and good vibes of K’s House. Staff is great! You can also rent bicycles with them - highly recommend you to do so and cycle around Kawaguchiko lake 🥰

It is a 20min walk from the train station, which can be a bit heavy if you are carrying a big backpack 😅 Nothing that will harm you though. Nice walk with Mt. Fuji around!

The location was wonderful - walking distance to Lake Kawaguchi with an immaculate view of Mount Fuji. The rooms and facilities were also clean - pleasantly surprised by the shared toilets and showers! Met some wonderful people during my stay, and vibes were great throughout :)

Do note that it's quite a walk from the bus station! I didn't really mind it (even with a large suitcase) since the view on the way gets better the nearer you are to the hostel.

The staff are lovely and really welcoming. The location is great with views of Fuji from the upstairs corridor and around the corner. We arrived in the dark so didn't see the mountain until we woke up and it was great. The lake is not far and the whole area is beautiful. Ks House is near 7eleven and another convenience store Lawson, so you can grab snacks or buy your own food to prepare in the hotel. There are restaurants nearby and the staff gave us tips for noce ones to try out. They serve fresh coffee in the morning which was delicious! You can trade your shoes for slippers on arrival so this is nice and respectful. We enjoyed sleeping on the tatami floor on futons and were warm and comfy. The bathrooms were always clean and there are also washing machines and dryers for use - for extra charge depending on length of stay. We were given a voucher to use the washer as we stayed a longer time. Another kind touch.

There was nothing we didnt like, it was all great and we loved our time at K's House. We will look out for K's House in Cambodia too!!

Our stay at was absolutely wonderful. The staff are the loveliest people and made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything we needed and more. We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. Hope to visit and stay at K's House one day again. 💜
