everything: staff, location, outstanding breakfast, comfortable room! especially the breakfast. they offered Hida beef for breakfast and 2 varieties of tofu which we enjoyed very much. they also offer free alcoholic drinks and curry rice from 6-8 pm every night. amazing! plus onsen and massage chair, and free coffee 24x7! strongly recommended! :D

there was no blackout curtain and it gets bright very early from 430 am! hard to sleep in the early morning. :( if staff can speak better English, it would help. not a big issue though. :)

It's a very modern hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. We enjoyed the veggies and fruits available for breakfast - amazing oranges. The onsen was very clean. Good location right next to the train station though on the opposite site to most attractions.

The room is small. When you open the window you will hear the trains or smell the fast foods restaurants. The coffee at breakfast was very weak.

The location was a stone's throw from Takayama JR Station 🚉. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the toilet was clean. The breakfast was sumptuous & started from 6.30am for early birds. The buffet spread was long. They served Hoba miso beef on a Magnolia leaf in a small, portable stove. They also have their signature Kuretakeso brown rice with eel on one morning & beef on another breakfast. The hotel staff was extremely patient & helpful. Highly recommended. I'll be back next autumn!

This was the best hotel of our trip this autumn 2023.

We stayed two nights for visiting Tamayaka and Shirakawa-go. It was a perfectly located hotel directly at the station. Very clean and equipped with everything you need. Small Onsen was very nice to relax and heat up after a long day. Also town center, convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance. All in all I would choose this hotel again. Only downside was the breakfast

We were disappointed of the breakfast. The room was very tight and on the first morning very crowded. Most of the food is Japanese and not much vegetarian options. The little western dishes were bread and jam. Scrambled egg was the worst I have ever eaten. The consistency was something between muddy and soft.

Complimentary amenities 6. Delicious breakfast with reasonable variety 7. Next to McDonald and convenient shop further down 8. Walking distance to train station. 9. Hotel staff are friendly and able to converse in English. 10. Free public bath and sauna. Remarks: We are very satisfied with the stay. We have already booked for our next stay in Jun 2024!

Below is not a concern for us, just some minor feedback. 1. Parking is not free.

Location is superb. It's quite literally a 2 min walk from the station. You can see the hotel from the platform! Staff were incredibly polite, cheerful, and helpful. The beds were exceptionally comfortable - best nights sleep we had in a long long time. The hotel provides one drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and one dish of curry & rice per customer every evening between 18:00 - 20:00 (while quantities last) - FOR FREE! We thought that was a great touch!! They also give you (one time) your choice of either a beer or an iced green tea (one per guest) if you forego room cleaning the next day. Again - what a super great touch! Breakfast was on offer but we didn't have any because it wasn't included in our room rate. We did have a look at it though and it was a very large variety of Japanese food, but very little western style food, so we skipped it. There's also a nice little seating area in the lobby if you want to sit and read or just have some quiet time. The location is very quiet - as is the hotel - considering how central it is. There's also a Toyota Car Rental office just around the corner from the hotel. There's several convenience stores within a couple of minutes and a McDonalds next door too. We'd definitely stay here again if we ever came back to Takayama.

We found the hotel to be very clean, although there could have been a little more care taken with the amount of dust under the beds. The room size wasn't too bad, although there's a bit too much furniture in it for the size. We did manage to fit 3 large suitcases, 2 small backpacks, 1 small carry-on case and us in the room - but it was tight. Depending on the room you get, you may have a cage on the outside of the window. It's part of the design of the hotel, but it's a shame because it obstructs a really nice view from the higher floors.

The location was very convenient because of its proximity to the train station and restaurants. The onsen was very clean although it’s pretty small.

The breakfast hall is very tiny and it’s very tedious to move inside when it’s busy.

The location closes to JR Takayama, however you should get out from the west exit of the train station.You can not find the way to this hotel if you leave from the north exit of the train station. The room is very clean and cozy The staffs are very nice and helpful however it's sometimes very difficult in English communication The hotel staffs provide 1 free drink for the guest when check in before 8.00 pm The breakfast is basic that consists of Japanese food, bread ,Milk coffee Salad bar and fruits.

The bathroom is very small however it 's very clean and comfortable.

Just behind the Takayama station so very convenient as we wanted a base to go to Shirakawago and Gero. Near old town and both morning markets. Hotel provides free curry rice and one drink each every evening which is a nice touch. Amenities are free for you to take including bath bombs and facial products.

Room at 15sqm is a little squeezy for 2 pax with luggages.

This hotel is right behind the Takayama JR station, super close! Breakfast and dinner was provided as well which was super delicious. But do go early for the meals as they run out towards the end, especially the Hida beef during breakfast. At the reception, they provide skincare products, bath bomb, additional toiletries and even shoe drier which was a life saver as our shoes were drenched from walking in the rain the whole day. Will definitely come back to this hotel in the future!
