Location is good, washing machine is convenient, onsen is cozy, view from top floor is beautiful. It's quite nice that the hotel allows you to buy breakfast on the day.

No humidifier in the room, and it's super dry! I woke up of dehydration for two days, then found out that the humidifier was actually on the list of "things to borrow from hotel", but the front desk boys asked me to carry the heavy machine myself from lobby to the room upstairs, what a "great" service! :( All the previous hotels I stayed in Japan have this necessity inside the room already...

- Superb hospitality and cleanliness of the hotel - Very close to bus station and train station - Very comfortable and homely rooms (I particularly enjoyed early morning cold breeze into the room with the window opened!!) - Spacious seating area with free drinks to relax - Public bath is password locked and it feels more private

- Dinner options were very limited, even with the upgrades suggested by hotel

Great location and few minutes walk from the station and on the edge of old town. The onsen is a great addition - especially the outdoor option. Breakfast buffet is large and diverse. Staff helped us book a restaurant which was very helpful. We could also leave luggage when we arrived before check in. Room was very spacious - separate toilet to bathroom also very handy.

We stayed 3 nights half board. The first night, the food was very good. Only problem was that food was exactly the same for next 2 nights so did not enjoy having same food every night. If staying more than 1 night, don’t bother with half board, lots of places nearby to eat.

- Bed is only a double, so it's a bit small - compared to other places we have stayed in Japan for a similar price, it's not the best value but their prices could have been inflated since we stayed the week before a major festival

Nice hotel in a great location. Less than 5 minutes walk to the station and 15 minutes from Old Town. The hotel is comfortable and clean, with kind professional staff. I was early to check in, and they allowed me to leave my luggage. The public bath/sauna was fantastic, highly recommended. Great value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel just a 3 minutes walk from train/ bus station, and less than 10 minutes walk to the main attractions. The hotel provided basic amenities, and with microwave and water dispenser at ground floor. Also with coin laundry which is pretty convenient for us. Not forgetting there is Onsen at 9 floor.

One of our rooms is just in front of the lift and the lift up/down sound is quite annoying.

We had a good sized, comfortable room for 2 nights. It was approx 5 min walk from the JR station and easily accessible to the sights of Takayama. Modern, top floor onsen. The whole hotel felt very clean and new. Good breakfast. Overall, very good value for money.

Great staff, spacious very comfortable room and beds. We loved having 3 separate rooms for the toilet, shower, and sink area- very convenient! Breakfast was good. The location was very close to the train and bus station. We would stay here again!

THE FOOD AND THE FACT THAT THE HOTEL INCLUDED BREAKFAST AND DINNER. WE ORDER ALSO THE HIDA BEEF PACKAGE, MADE US HAVING 2 PACKAGES OF DINNER IN ONE NIGHT, BUT IT WAS SO SATISFYING, BEAUTIFUL ART AND THE TASTE IS ALSO SO SO DELICIOUS.

THE MINIMARKET A BIT FAR FROM THE HOTEL. AND THE EVENING VERY QUIET AND A BIT DARK.
