Room is spacious and clean. Hotel is just next to the station. So too, the Nohi bus Terminal. We took in the Nohi bus day tour to Ainokura Gassho village and Shirakawago for 8000 Yen per person. We also used the Nohi HW coach to Kyoto for 5000 Yen per person. I really enjoyed the colourful mountain and high plateau river views from the coach. Takayama is a delightful place to wander around. Eat at the many restaurants in the downtown areas rather than in the old town. There are more to choose from and cheaper.

Surprisingly, most of the cafes and restaurants opens only from 11.30am - 2.30 pm and 5 pm - 8pm. There is aways a long queue at the eateries.

Compact, efficient, high quality amenities. The location is perfect, just next to Takayama station. there is private onsen available to book too. There are washing machine & microwave provided in every room too.

This hotel celebrates the Hida traditions by embedding the skills of local craftspeople into the design of its decor. The results are stunning. Wood, leather, thread, lacquer, clay, paper. These handicrafts were beautifully interwoven in my room and further celebrated in gallery spaces throughout the hotel. In addition, the hotel offers an incredible skyline view of Takayama and relaxing foot bath from the terrace. The staff are very welcoming as are the people of Takayama. The hotel is just two minutes from the station and a short walk to the gorgeous old town. I stayed five days and loved everyone of them.

Stone’s throw from Takayama Jr station. it was snowing heavily on my arrival day and there is a sheltered walkway leading to the hotel except for the last 10 meters. Well connected to the bus terminal and old town. we walked to the morning market and Jinya with ease. Rooms and the hotel itself is tastefully decorated with local crafts. Love the scent of wood in the wjole property. Onsen in the hotel is a dream, beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast spread was good too, delicious choices and coffee was good. The breakfast area is beautiful too. A thing to mention is the free to use washer/dryer in the room which we used every night. Complementary umbrellas for guests to use too… we stayed for 4nights and Would absolutely recommend this place. Hopefully to visit soon.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the train and bus station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is like new, very clean and very well maintained. The washing machine in the room was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of western and Japanese affairs. Overall it was an excellent stay.

The location is superior and most convenient.

The private bath which we booked for one of the evening did not have any basic toiletries thar was found in the public gents and ladies hot spring.🤔.

It’s right next to the subway and bus station, so don’t have to go far with our luggage. It’s got its own free onsen and bath soak but we can opt in for a private onsen which we enjoyed very much. Dinner was amazing (have to pre-book) we loved the big windows so we could enjoy the view

A nice mix of Traditional Japanese and a modern Hotel. Interesting was the availability of streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu on the TV. You simply log in with your existing account. Footbath on the 9th floor is lovely as is the Private Onsen. Super convenient location. 2 mins to the Train station and another 1 min to the Nohi bus station. There's a FamilyMart ~200m away.

We are used to Japanese cuisine, so for us, the breakfast was nice. No complaints on the multiple choices available. However, some more Western options would have been nice

so closed on train station, good breakfast, nice semi-buffet dinner, I loved very well. very nice private hot spring, good privately. nice parking place.

If private hot spring area can provide the water after hot spring, its will be very good.

Yui, the manager. She went to great lengths to solve a complicated issue I created. She truly made lemonade out of a lemon situation
