- big breakfast buffet with loads of options to choose from; friendly breakfast hours (7-11) - various pools and mini golf on the site - bars and restaurants on the site with very friendly staff - the view from our room (although we have not booked one with a sea view, we could see the ocean) - the garden is very welcoming

- gym has a nice view, but is not well equipped at all (I have more stuff at home) - you can hear the doors shattering - no control whether people actually use their chairs at the pool or just occupy them unreasonably

The staff at this hotel are beyond a credit to the Manager and the brand. They are all extremely helpful and happy. They treat you like royalty. The Buffet food is fantastic with lots of options at breakfast and at dinner. The long time periods that the buffet is open was incredibly helpful for a family with a baby! The gym was good. Good size, good equipment.

We stayed in room 308. There is a lift there that goes down to the pool, but there are only stairs to make your way down, so it would have been good to have a ramp. Maybe a stair master in the gym too x

This is a very good price-quality hotel. A more quite location but that was perfect for us. Superfriendly staff and willing to help at any time. Breakfast is serving everything you want : champagne, show-cooking, lot of variety but watch out can be very crowdy when sitting inside. Beautiful garden and although it is a big hotel, there are more then enough sunbeds and cosy corners to relax.

I found it a rather cold hotel. I missed a bit the 'home coming', rooms could have some floor mats to make it a bit more cosy. Also the sunbeds are quite hard if you want to spend a day at the pool. It is a typical Sheraton, good price-quality but missing some finishing touch to make is just that special.

No service at pools, only one pool heated (the children pool) design and furniture coming to age.

From the moment we arrived until we left, everyone at this hotel was super welcoming, accommodating and happy to help in any way they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. All the staff are lovely - from reception to housekeeping to restaurants to pool staff - and clearly happy to work there which makes all the difference. The hotel is gorgeous with wonderful gardens and sea view, room was beautiful and huge, with an extremely comfortable bed & everything you need. Coffee machine was a nice touch for a morning coffee on our balcony. Breakfast was great with lots on offer and loved the fact that it finished at 11am which allowed for a lie in. We ate at the pool bar restaurant and had drinks most nights on the terrace bar - all great. Would 100% come back, this is a great hotel.

Only thing frustrating was the pool areas can get quite crowded and there seems to be a habit by many guests to reserve the sun beds all day (even when they are not in use) from early in the morning which limits options for others who want to find a spot. We were there just before half term holidays so lots of children which can be noisy around the pool areas for those looking to relax - would be preferable to separate pools for adults & kids entirely but I'm sure I would feel differently if we had kids!

Very good breakfast, and exceptionally nice and helpful stuff serving it. All fresh, good variety. Fresh juices and smoothies. Room is spacious, comfy beds, comfy furniture at the terrace. We asked for a quiet room and were provided such - side ocean view and literally no noise. Housekeeping is great, everything very clean. Pools are nice with a lot of sunbeds. Location is first line, but you have to walk 3min to the nearest beach, as in front of the hotel there is no beach. Nice entertainment in the evenings, nice bar.

Japanese restaurant is mediocre.

The pool was marvelous, room was comfortable and calm, the breakfast had a lot of different options and was very enjoyable . Room was cleaned every day an staff was friendly. Has in place parking. Very close to playa el duque and overall a very nice stay.

For an expensive five star hotel I cannot believe that you can't prepare decent scrambled eggs, they were horrible, several times I wanted to jump into the kitchen and prepare them myself, please improve.

Brilliant location if you dont want party but still lots of restaurants nearby. Inbetween two villages with lots of restaurants in walking distance (10-20 minutes). Also plenty of parking opportuntities and super helpful hotel staff. Pool is also very nicely maintainted. Also beach promenade in front of hotel where you can do kilometers of running

In my view not 5 star but 4 star The hotel is unfortunately a little bit clairaudient, so depending on your neighbours (especially the ones above you) this can get annoying Also gym was closed unfortunately

The room was spacious, modern, impeccably clean and well appointed with a nice balcony area. Food, especially breakfast buffet was delicious with a good selection of food. Dining areas are lovely as are the pools and access to the coastal walkway. Nice central location and above all the room was very quiet for a good nights sleep. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Nothing - very pleasant stay, kind of reminded me of the Royal Hawaiian on Waikiki.
