Hotel Flamencos

The staff was super helpful. From changing our room twice because we wanted a room with windows to bringing us water because it was raining - they were courteous, helpful and informative. The rooms were spacious and the toilet very clean. The attached restaurant did a decent breakfast and other meals.

Nothing really. The inside rooms didn’t have window but they changed when we asked. Note: rooms like 201,206, 301,306, 401, 406, 501, 506 are the best - corner rooms with large windows

the property is really nice. Looks like the place was recently remodeled and has a very modern vibe.

The negative comment I would say is the location. It’s not close by Centro Historico, unless you walk 20 min. Since everything around closes at 7, there are no restaurants or stores near by and almost all the metro stations are closed temporarily. The beds are a little uncomfortable and hard and you can hear some noise if you’re noise sensitive.

Fantastic experience. Great location just a few minutes away from Zocalo. Friendly and super helpful staff. Room was way furnished extremely with nice furniture and decorations. Restaurant was very reasonably price and the food was absolutely the highest quality you could imagine. Highly Recommended!!!!!

Only one negative (and it's minor) was that the pillows on the bed were very firm and something a little softer would be nice.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The facilities were very up to date. The service was excellent. The restaurant was also excellent and it closed at 10pm which was an added bonus. The breakfast was very good. The room was very modern and I loved the LED lighting features. The water pressure was great (certain parts of Mexico have low water pressure). The bathroom was very roomy. The only drawback was that there was no window in our room but we weren't going to stay in the room much so it was a minimal drawback.

I have noticed that there is more construction in Mexico with drywall. While this is a nice change it makes for thinner walls which means more noise penetrates the walls. I am not sure if the new drywall construction trends utilize insulation but I was able to hear conversations and the neighbors doing their sexy business past midnight disturbed my rest.

Great new hotel in a great location with a short walk from the historical city center. Staff were very accommodating when we asked to change room (booked a double room and moved to a king). Rooms are spacious and modern. Breakfast is great with continental options and several warm Mexican dishes with a few that change daily! The Internet connection is also super solid with >150 mbps on wifi and in the room there a working ethernet jack with download speeds >700 mbps and upload >150 mbps. We also did a tour to Xochimilco which was easy to book through the hotel.

Insulation of the door from the room to the hallway could be better but it was quiet and didn't affect our rest at all.

great location, only 15 mins to main square. stuff were helpful to arrange one day tours. room was clean. ac was working perfectly. the only concern I would have blankets and sheets: there were 3 sheets and while sleeping it is very hard to maintain. breakfast was nice but area is very small. there should be more options in breakfast like special omlette request, vegetables like tomato, cucumber so on and pots were very inefficient: in order to take a food you need to find a place to put the cover of pot. unfortunatelly facilities was clased at that time. no gym or pool.

New and very clean facility. Very central, 10 minutes' walk from the Plaza de la Constitucion. As far as breakfast is concerned, I would say quite good, although too 'Mexican'

While it is true that it is very central, it must be said that the hotel is located next to a busy bus stop full of people. There is a multi-storey car park in front of the hotel entrance. Therefore the view of the rooms is non-existent, the windows are too small and care must be taken, on the security side, given the amount of people in the vicinity. Just one note about the rooms, the pillows in the beds are too high and hard and therefore not too comfortable to use

A reasonably good quality 4* hotel in downtown. We really liked the area, metro and bus just 2 mins walk and many sights walking distance. Also lots of clothes shops and market is close. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Our room was quiet at nights, we had a really good sleep, which is a big help in the days of jetlag. Staff all around the hotel was supernice and tried to help us with everything possible, however only receptionists speak English. We even booked excursions via them, which proved to be quite good as well. We only tried breakfast which was a good variety, however if you have any food allergies it is difficult to get a selection. Generally we would stay again if we go the CDMX!!

Unfortunately all shops nearby close at 20.00 or 21.00, difficult to get late dinner or anything else. There was a construction just under our window with dust and noise all day. Luckily we were mostly out all day, so it only disturbed in the morning. One receptionist gave us wrong information about the public transport (line 1 was closed, took us plus 1 hour). Breakfast is more Mexican than international, and in the country of cacao you have to pay extra for hot chocolate drink. But these are only minor things.

Staff were excellent,helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was very good ,location was excellent.

Air conditioner was Licking,toilet seat cover couldnt hold it's upright position ,was very uncomfortable to use the toilet,no face tissue was provided.We were offered different room however was smaller in size which we didn't like as we paid for bigger room.No English channel on TV.Shower pressure wasn't great.In the room there was no full length mirror to dress,no water filling station outside ,also would be good to have free hot water tea coffee 24 hours vending machine at the reception.Freeze wasn't functional.

I liked the free breakfast, it was a decent spread and long hours of service. The staff were helpful; the front desk staff helped us navigate rebooking flights over the phone in Spanish, which took a while and was well beyond their job role, so massive thanks for that! The rooms were very modern and nice design.

The beds were nice but pretty firm, so a word of warning on that. Probably the only real gripe is that the bedside lights when off, emit a bright blue led glow that myself and my friends all had to mask with solid tape to allow us to sleep.
