Historico Central, Fine Coffee Shop & Walking tour included

This was the best hotel I've stayed in anywhere for a long time. Stylish hotel, incredibly comfortable bed, heating, good breakfast, nice bathroom, perfect location. Fridge full of drinking water, cafe snacks and drinks all included in the price was a bonus. The staff were mostly wonderful, and I would this hotel recommend to anyone.

The girl in the cafe acted like I was bothering her, was rude and aggressive and didn't even give me what I asked for and needs to get a different job. However, I still give 5 stars for the other staff as her bad attitude isn't their fault.

Rooms, common areas, food, service, staff were all top notch. I would stay again and highly recommend.

Loved this hotel! Wonderful location - we could walk to so many things that were on our list to see. We had two rooms, both were lovely. Staff is amazing - we felt welcomed and cared for from the first time we walked in. Full cooked breakfast (included) was delicious, they had a full menu to choose from, or would cook something different if requested. Each floor has a little fridge filled with complimentary cold water bottles for guests, as well as a stocked fridge in the room. The most amazing thing was a cafe in the lobby with delicious hot food, drinks (coffees, smoothies, sodas, beer), desserts, and snacks that were all completely free for guests 24/7!! It was amazing to be able to pick up a quick meal or smoothie that was delicious and free (!!!) in-between sightseeing.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff was very helpful. The readily available water bottles on each floor and the coffee place with free drinks/snacks are a nice touch. The location is excellent - it is easy to explore the central part of the city on foot.

The bed was a bit small for 2 people (suppose it wasn't wider than 120cm). The room`s window was facing a wall so basically as if the room has no window and also the rooms are not well sound-insulated (however we slept with earplugs on so that wasn't much of a problem).

Oh, it was absolutely wonderful. It saved us so much time. I noticed that a lot of businesses are not open too early, so having the availability of breakfast, there is a game changer. The staff was amazing. The girls do a wonderful job behind the scenes the waiters Gonzalo, Luis, Arturo, Roberto. They are fantastic. They get along very well. The camaraderie they share is super. We had a lot of fun and look forward to breakfast every morning.

Sorry, but I don’t have anything to say about not liking something. Everybody is hospitable, approachable ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The service exceeded expectations at all levels. Fantastic service at the reception by Andrea, Ariel and Francisco. Ulyses the concierge was the best!....Kind, always smiling so helpful in giving us tips whether for wine, markets, food etc. Roberto and Luis did a fantastic job each morning at breakfast going out of their way to offer fantastic service! The cafe staff too were always patient and ever helpful to cater to our palate and needs. Emiliano did a wonderful job on our walking tour and I would recommend him to anyone who is a first time visitor and would like to know the places to go to chill or eat or just visit such as museums etc. I will love to visit again soon and will be back to stay at this beautiful hotel in a country of beautiful people! viva la Mexico :)

nothing really except I would encourage the hotel to focus on being more sustainable.....for eg: having a recycling bin for plastic and using fixed refill bottles for toiletries in the bathroom. It will bring down cost and also help the environment of such a beautiful location and city.

The hotel is located in walking distance of most historic places and landmarks in the city. The staff were always welcoming and helpful specially Ulises & Luis. These two were always chatty and funny which made our stay more comfortable. Great delicious breakfast and the staff who attended were always helpful and catered to our dietary needs. As it was our first time to Mexico, we were very amazed and enlightened about it's history during the included cultural walking tour.

We were delighted to have one of the balcony rooms, however the shower power was poor and intermittent in our room.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. Amsi at the front desk was wonderful and helped out with tour options and dinner recommendations. The kitchen staff including Roberto, Arturo, Jose, Luis exceeded expectations in the amount and variety of food. We also enjoyed seeing the staff do a special rendition of happy birthday for guests who were celebrating! The all inclusive option was well worth the price with snacks, sandwiches, coffee, water and breakfast included. I would highly recommend.

The walking tour was amazing, just know that it is closer to 5 hours than the advertised 3! Bring a hat, water, and sunscreen.

This is a convenient hotel with competent staff, centrally located in CDMC / walking distance from many interesting spots in the historic city. The coffee shop is a nice plus, for a quick bite in the morning or evening.

There is no natural light in many of the standard rooms, which are also quite small. But it's convenient and not overpriced, so still a good choice for a stay in Mexico City. Waiting times for breakfast were sometimes quite long, and the attitude of people serving food varied from very friendly and engaging to unenthusiastic and bored. Don't expect haute cuisine from the coffee shop.

We had a fantastic stay at Historico Central to celebrate our daughter's 7th birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The front desk staff was very helpful and patient in answering all our questions about the area and looking up sightseeing options. They even ordered a cake and decorated our room while we were out. It was such a fun surprise. The dining staff exceeded our expectations as well. Chef Jose, Antonio, and Gonzalo paid attention to every detail and ensure we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts each morning. And lastly, the 24/7 coffee shop and bar staff cannot be forgotten. They are such hardworking girls that took great pride in their service. We never had to leave the hotel to go hunt for food when hungry This is an excellent value for a stay in central CDMX that we highly recommend and would love to come back and stay at.

The shower temperature could be a little higher and they could install reusable soap/shampoo dispensers. Other than that, we had an excellent stay and had no major issues pop up.
