EXCELLENT breakfast -- a very large and varied buffet with omelet station, all of the best quality, AND it was open until 11:00 a.m. every morning. No shutting down at 9 or 10:00 a.m. The staff kept everything clean during breakfast and they were friendly and helpful. The entire hotel staff was pleasant, smiling, and helpful. The facility -- room and amenities -- were first rate, but without a welcoming staff, a hotel is just a place to sleep. Also, it was June, gay pride month, and Mexico City showed its support by flying the rainbow flag on public buildings. And the NH had the rainbow flags at reception and at the bar.

First, I was thankful that kept my reservation there is some problem with my credit card. The hotel location is also good and quite secure, a few meters away from Zocalo. There are a lot of police, in fact, they park their bus in front of the hotel. The hotel is also quiet because it’s located on not-so busy street. The room is small but provides sufficient amenities. I particularly liked the black-out curtains. The breakfast offers a lot of variety and is open until 12pm. I stayed their for 8N and there’s always something new in their menu. Overall, I was happy with my stay at this hotel.

It’s not possible to open the window. The cleaning finished quite late. One time, I went back at 5pm but my room is not yet cleaned up.

The staff were wonderful! I did not speak a lot of Spanish, but several people the a front desk were able to speak English. For those who didn't, we were able to use Google Translate. As long as you try to speak Spanish and you're polite, they will go out of their way to accommodate. The hotel was clean and close to the Zocalo area.

Sometimes there are special events in the Zocalo area, so when there was an event the whole area was blocked off and we could not get an uber to drop us off at the hotel. So long as you're not too dependent on ubers or taxis and you don't mind walking, then this is a great location. I believe they close off several roads for everyone and locals to ride their bikes around on Sunday, so you should keep that in mind if you have time sensitive weekend plans.

We liked this hotel very much, as we found the location close to many shops in the historic centre, the rooms clean, and the bathroom very spacious. We also appreciated the availability of a restaurant in the hotel, and the complementary bottles of water given everyday in the rooms (and available in the lobby) were helpful. We were able to organise our tour to Teotihuacan with the help of the reception staff. The wifi worked very well for us. We ate breakfast in the hotel, and thought that it had a nice combination of warm and cold foods, and juices, teas and coffees. We appreciated the omelettes made to-taste, in particular. We greatly appreciated the availability of disinfectant gel in the restaurant, lobby and elevator.

While the bathroom was very spacious, the room itself could be a bit narrow, as it was sometimes hard to walk around the corner where the table's chair and the bed corner met. This was not a major problem for us.

Great location. Very close to Zocalo. Comfortable beds and spacious bathroom! Bonus point for amazing staff. We had issue with hotel room safe, which failed to open, around 8pm and we planed to check out early morning the next day. The hotel security staff came to check the safe, and said he needed to contact his coworker on how to fix the issue. We thought the safe couldn't be opened tonight and started to figure plan B for later check out. Surprisingly, the security staff came back around 9pm and opened our safe! So big thanks to the staff!

The staff was warm, friendly and helpful. The front desk staff greeted us kindly every morning before we left for our daily excursions and every evening when we returned. We originally booked 5 days at the NH collection and the other half of our vacation at another location in Mexico city. The staff at NH is so helpful, we decided to extend our stay for the entire vacation at NH. The breakfast, which we included with our room reservations is a wonderful bonus. They offer breads and cheeses for those who prefer a continental breakfast. Fruit platters and cereal. eggs to order. Potatoes and steamed vegetables., And Mexican items as well.

Corporate hotel, located just behind the Zocale, in the historic center of Mexico City. Ideal for all the tourist sightseeing. Great restaurants & shopping practically on your door step. Feels brand new & modern, this hotel has all the requirements for the business & tourist traveler. Posh restaurant upstairs serves an acceptable breakfast though it's not nearly as varied as some of the other hotels I've stayed at. Three lifts - so not much waiting.

Rooms are comfortable but a bit compact. Not enough room to accommodate 2 items of luggage. Walls are a bit thin - we could hear foot steps & conversation in the corridor even at 2 am. For some reason the mini bar was locked. Couldn't quench my thirst & they probably lost some business there.

Feels very secure, property is clean. location is central to everything. Love that the hotel arranges taxis if needed as it can be difficult to get taxis in this area due to protests.

Hotel told us incorrect price for the taxi ride. Taxi driver showed us pamphlet with the correct price upon arrival so we knew he wasn’t lying. I was also waiting in line to check out of the hotel and another man walked right up to the counter to check out. The lady had clearly seen me waiting there but helped him first then checked me out after. Thought that was rude of both of them, it took 30 seconds but still she could have informed the man that there was a line.

Clean, beautiful, GREAT breakfast options - very elaborate menu, hot/cold/Mexican/continental, lots of options to choose from. Survived on their breakfast for most of the day!! Great staff who also can speak English decently to be able to communicate. So close to center, felt very safe even at night walking..

Not much shelf space, shower water is not hot enough for nice shower. Water pressure of the shower is absolutely pathetic, felt like showering in a very weak rain!

Breakfast was really good. It was varied. There were lots of fruit, vegetables and other healthy options. As a bonus it was always prepared in a Mexican context with local recipes. I loved it. Staff in the restaurant were very polite. They even remembered my room and knew what I liked for breakfast.

There was some really annoying jazz music playing in the corridors throughout the whole day. It was so loud that one could hear it from within the room and it was impossible to have a nap during the day. They would only turn it off during the night. Although I asked them to turn down/off the music, because it was disturbing, they only did it on the day and the next day it was back again. I guess this is a decision of a random 'know-it-all' manager, but such hotel chains should control their staff and make sure they hire adequate people.
