City Centro by Marriott Ciudad de Mexico

The location was pretty good to get around by metro and the accommodation was super clean. The roof top was really cute, although it was pretty deserted the time that I was there, although this may have to do with the time of year.

I think there were things that I could access that I wasn't aware of, I think there are complimentary bicycles, but no one told me about it. Also at check out time, I was five mins late and absolutely no leeway was given, the cleaners were knocking at the door and reception staff immediately called me on the phone - it was a bit intense.

The location of City Centro was excellent. It was walking distance to the Zocalo, Palacio de Bellas Artes, and multiple metro stops. There were great places to eat nearby and a fantastic coffee shop right next door! The staff were extremely helpful and very accommodating. They all spoke enough English to help us when needed. They even helped us book a reservation at a nearby restaurant which was excellent! Also, the rooftop terrace restaurant/bar is amazing. The breakfast was good and the vibe was terrific. Too bad more people don't know about it.

The hotel is very modern and sleek looking. We really liked the decor but it was a little dark. We had a room on the second floor in the back and the hallway leading to our room was VERY dark at night. The entire place is painted in dark colors which looks great during the day, but it is a little too dark at night. Overall we loved it, but it would also have been nice if they had some holiday decorations as we were there the week before Christmas.

Convenient, two blocks away from the historical center. The housekeeper very pleasant and helpful. The security guard always ready to helped with taxis . Close to many restaurants, bar and shopping stores. The hotel always provide bottled water. Nice lobby. Nice rooftop bar with small pool. Unique small luxury hotel of City Express brand

Training opportunities on front desk staff and management on hospitality business. The rooftop bar played way too loud music that it's hard to have a good conversation. Mediocre food. Drinks way too expensive. Sanitary area in the rooftop can used some upgrade. Not enough toiletries in the bathroom. Stayed for 8 days and not one bit I was able to connect to their wi-fi service. Asked front desk several times but doesn't seems to know how to do it☹. Next time in Mexico City, I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Beautiful old building tastefully renovated with communal areas looking really high end, and a lovely roof terrace. Great location to explore the historic centre on foot from and also easy to get Ubers from outside the front. Hotel felt safe with security on the door at all times.

The bathroom did not have a ceiling separating it from the rest of the room which was an inconvenience and made privacy hard to find! The room also did not have any windows which made it hard to tell what time of day it was outside and adjust to the light/time zone.

Absolutely stunning designer hotel. Very dark at night but every detail had been perfectly considered. The room was lovely and the best shower we had all holiday. Loved the terrace bar and pool with a view. All the staff were fantastic and it was great that we could loan bikes to take part in the evening cycling event going through the city

The area is a little quiet at night, so I felt a little uncomfortable for my safety walking back after an evening meal.

The rooftop plunge pool is lovely, and the bar there is a great escape from the busy city. The location was fantastic for exploring the historic part of the city, and a cheap uber ride from the rest of the tourist attractions. The beds and pillows were amazingly comfy, I wish I knew where they were from I would but y them myself.

I did not realise our room didn't have a window, but the tall ceilings and the hatch onto the light well made up for it and the room was very spacious too.

The hotel location is fantastic. It is clean and fresh indoors when is hot outside. The decor is beautiful and the linens and towels first class. A great hotel if you are looking for comfort.

The hotel at night is a bit too dark for comfort. In fact, the lack of lighting could cause someone to trip and fall. Use a bit more light so your clients don´t suffer an unexpected fall. Also, PLEASE, I don think you need loud music at 7:30 AM in the lobby. It disrupted our sleep.

The hotel wass close to everything. It has a rooftop bar and pool which was a bonus. Most of the staff was wonderful and helpful in calling taxis and gicing us recomnendations.

THere were just a few things that could have made out stay fabolous. There was only one hand towel in the room when we arrived. We had to call the front desk and ask for towels, which they brught to us. The next day when we arrived back for our adventures the room had been cleaned and again there were no towles in the room. Again we had to call and ask for them. This happened everyday! Be began hanfgng them in the coloset to insure we would have towles. In our friends room they determined that the towles that were left to be changed were folded and hung back up. Other than that and the fact that there is no bathroom ciling, it was open to the roof made it a bit inconvienant for some provacy and required us to use the common area bathroom on certain occasisons.

Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Bed was comfy and the room size was good enough for our stay. The hotel it self is beautiful, from the reception to the terrace, and location is very convenient - next to Zocalo and surrounded by small shops [ from clothes to lightning ] that seems as a huge local market within the city. An advantage of location super calm between 21:00 - 09:00.

There are only 2 things: 1. Bathroom - be aware that the bathrooms though do have walls and doors, the main wall does not go up to the ceiling, so be ready to reach a “new level of intimacy” 2. During our stay, there was a filming happening within the hotel and terrace. This meant that there were areas of the hotel that were closed and /or numerous crew people wondering around with lighting and props. Unfortunately there was no notice about that prior.

Location: 2 blocks from Maderos, which is a walking area, 24 hour tacos around the corner are delicious, Palacio de Bellas artes and the city center are less than 10 min away. It is quiet even though it is in the middle of the city. The facility is pretty and chic. The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated; the beds are comfortable. place was clean and the staff pretty nice.

The bathroom walls do not reach the ceiling- you have to be very comfortable with whoever you’re sharing the room with because you can hear and smell everything! definitely not for shy people or new couples. There is minimum space to store clothes: only one drawer and one hanging rod with 10 hangers.
