The location is excellent. The Hotel is 3 blocks from Zocalo. The staff is available 24 hours. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is excellent not much variety but the Coffee of Holla is amazing. The best part of all for me was that the hotel has free washing and a dryer for laundry. I was thrilled with this service that is not advertised. The hotel is beautiful on the exterior and the interior if you like colonial places. It has an elevator and it is not too big or too small. The rooms have nice showers and places to sit and rest beside your regular bed. The hotel offers daily, 2 bottles of water which is great in Mexico. They have great security at the entrance and a secure door that you open only with your card. The hotel also has 2 good restaurants on the first floor. The beds are very comfortable.

Everything was great!

Very comfortable beds Big closet Separate living room No noise on 6th floor Fold out sofa bed in living room Black out curtains Microwave and fridge in room Staff were VERY NICE & HELPFUL Very close to Zocalo - only a few mins walk Loved the breakfast - waffles, eggs, Mexican food, fruits, cereal, toast, yogurt, juices, vegetables, beans... Have a lovely sitting area in reception with tables and chairs Good Security Next door to a fabulous restaurant.

Some rooms were moist and smelt moldy (our friends) Other floors were very noisy No pool I left my charger plugged in beside the bed but when I called a few hours after checking out, the cleaners said it was not there, so I never got it back unfortunately.

Breakfast is different every day and freshly made. The staff is very friendly and the service is on point. My husband didn’t care for the coffee, however there’s many coffee places within walking distance. The location of the hotel is great. Always felt very safe and the hotel offers rooms with indoor/outdoor views.

The lighting isn’t great, but with the outdoor view room you can open the drapes and the light is greatly improved. The regular coffee isn’t great, but the café de olla is delicious! The room can be a bit hot — wish the rooms had fans at times.

We had a very comfortable 5-night stay. + Location is very convenient, a short 5-min walk from Zocalo/Metro blue line. + Clean and spacious room (2-Q suite). Historic building with a relaxed vibe. + Staff pleasant and kind. Alex was especially helpful in providing detailed instructions to various sites. + Breakfast had a nice selection of items. Good coffee. + The hotel was kind enough to let us check in early (noon) and check out late (1pm).

- The living room was a little dark. - Our room faced 5 de Febrero and was quite noisy at night over the weekend. Also, a security alarm in the neighborhood went off in the middle of the night three nights in a row (lasting several minutes each time). - Hot water in the shower was only lukewarm. - Booking only quoted our reservation in dollars, but the hotel used a rather poor exchange rate to convert the amount into Pesos for the bill. As a result, the final credit card charge was 4% higher than what Booking quoted. These are just minor annoyances. Overall, we had an excellent stay. The hotel offered great value for the price.

Location was awesome and exactly as expected. We were well researched and our expectations were met perfectly. We do not eat breakfast but I did go down to check out the experience and it looked great. We chose a King bed in a larger room with a couch, in a room that was internal and not facing the street. This was perfect for us since we walked all around the historical centre and visited many rooftops and the En Torre Latina for our views of the city. The staff were amazing !

The staff are exceptional. The concierge was fantastic, interested in what you wanted to do, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the area, and tailored an itinerary to suit. Receptionists and door staff welcoming and friendly, nothing too much trouble. The barman couldn't be nicer.

The rooms are a bit noisy. Road facing room noisy from the street at the weekend, atrium facing room noisy in the morning (we had 2 stays and 2 different rooms). However the rooms are nice, comfortable and well equipped and the hotel is in a great location so for us it was a minor point which was compensated by the positives.

The hotel is on a busy street but we were able to get an inside room and it was very quiet. The room was spacious and very clean. The concierges were very helpful and thanks to them we discovered some wonderful restaurants. They had a very nice buffet breakfast that opened at 6:30 a.m. if you're interested in staying in the historic center I don't think you could do better for the price. There was a lab half a block away and it did a covid test between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. with results in 2 hours. If you are flying on Monday however I don't think they're open on Sunday.

There are no real negatives, but the lobby had been transformed into a place to have breakfast. There weren't any comfortable chairs, not that we had reason to want to sit in the lobby.

Ample hot buffet-style breakfast. Easy walking distance to Zocalo and central city museums, restaurants, and shopping. Helpful reception staff - especially Edgar the concierge who explained and translated political protests in front of the presidential palace, and helped us plan excursions to Chapultepec, Coyoacan, and Xochimilko. Edgar phoned Casa Azul to check whether or not we had the right tickets, and he warned us of taxis passing counterfeit bills at the Museo de Antropologia. (Unfortunately after another traveller we knew lost $100. Ask Edgar, and don't take a taxi from in front of the Museo.)

I walk on crutches and Mexican tiles are a constant slipping hazard. We had two rooms, one of which had a shower with no grip bars. We asked for a shower chair; none was available. Get one Hampton! This is an easy and inexpensive fix. Or some day someone will fall and injure themselves. Maybe they have already. (However the second room had a bathtub and grab-bar and was safe.) Downtown CDMX is crowded, busy and noisy (though we slept well). It's very convenient to many of the top attractions. But the borderline chaos is not for everyone or for every trip. If you don't plan to visit downtown, consider other neighborhoods.

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I have stayed in a LOT of hotels and they were by far the BEST. A huge thank you to Itzel, Joanna, Gerardo, Héctor, Martin, all the others, as well as the cleaning staff who is just so friendly and super hardworking. The breakfast is amazing. There is literally EVERYTHING. The bed is so comfy, and I slept like a baby. There is a nice desk in the room with a real office chair which is great when you work online like me. There is also a great gym, a business center where you can work. The rooftop is sooo nice although a little pricey.

That I can't stay there forever.

A very nice hotel with very good staff and service. The Bfast could be better but we enjoy the coffee and the pastries. More vegetarian options would be great.

I wish the terrace was available. Having a space where to sit and relax in the outdoors would be great. Although there is a terrace, I believe it is closed right now. Even with this..it was a good place to stay.
