LaiLa Hotel CDMX

My family (myself and my 2 children aged 12 and 15) were really comfortable at LaiLa Hotel. Our room was good size, impeccably clean (cleaned everyday), good location near to lovely restaurants and cafes. Nice to have the gym on top floor. We didn't use the restaurant as there were so many lovely local places to explore, that were easily accessible walking. Lots of staff who were really attentive when asked questions, but as there were often a large number on front desk, it could also be intimidating to ask questions.

What a great property!!! Right in the middle of Roma Norte. 1 minute walk to Diana and 5 minutes to the Angel. But yet it is off the main drag so it is quiet and feels comfy and homey. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Housekeeping does an amazing job. Front desk reception is fast, friendly, and there will always be someone there who speaks English and is happy to help with directions, eating recommendations, taxis, etc. The rooms are decent size. Not huge but well laid out, functional, and comfortable. Bathrooms are a bit on the small size, but if you like big showers with tons of hot water and a great shower head...LaiLa is for you. My wife and I live in Mexico and we travel all over the country. Laila is one of the best values we have seen and we will be back there again on our next trip to CDMX.

Really nothing I can think of. This place is great

the room was very nice, had two comfortable beds and a good view from the 9th floor. The quarter was nice and felt very safe, and it was a good starting point to discover the historical town, but also the parks and museums. Especially two male stuff members were really helpful and friendly.

The floor in the bathroom was really dirty, it had black sticky stains that I cleaned up myself. The carpet in the room was not the most pleasant either. The towels (that were still hanging, they were not on the floor) got taken away but not replaced, so I ended up with less and less towels over the days. I‘m fine with re-using towels, but if they are gone, they have to be replaced.

The location is great, within 30 minutes walk from the Historic City Centre, Chapultepec Castle, and Condesa/Roma Norte. Housekeeping staff were meticulous at their job and the room felt very clean and inviting each time we returned from a long and tiring day out. Our room included breakfast, which was a good variety of hot and cold items such as eggs and fruits. Good value for money overall.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. Well located and good value. Fitness center.

Would be great to have more water bottles in the fitness center, and a cleaning spray so that users of the gym can clean the equipment before and after using it.

Excellent service, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, clean, sound proof rooms, comfortable bed, hot shower, restaurant with breakfast buffet and several alternatives, restaurant also open all day. We liked everything, they even had the second elevator repaired during our stay in late November 2022. 100% recommended!

I booked Laila Hotel mainly for its location - very safe, really close to the The Angel of Independence, and if you like to walk, it was great to go from it to Chapultepec Castle. Room is clean and comfortable.

Clean. Modern. Wifi was reliable and wicked fast. Restaurant was good and inexpensive. Location was perfect.

The "business center" was a couple of Mac desktops at a high top counter in the bar. So, it was not usable for business calls or any kind of quiet work. There is no quiet common area anywhere.

I like the breakfast, the cleanliness, location and price. Above all the location was so convenient to everything like food, transportation, etc

The room was a bit too small for a family of 4 including a handicapped child. The bathroom and shower stall was really small. It felt too crammed.

I loved the staff and the modern vibe of the hotel. the location was great and next to so many eateries and short walks to significant tourist spots. We felt safe and had a great stay.

I wish they offered complimentary breakfast with the stay and the gym’s machines were a little outdated and rusty. More free weights should be available.
