Fantastic location on the loch. Good stop over whilst heading to/from Cairnryan ferry. Meals (breakfast and dinner) were great. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed.

It needs a bit of freshening up (walls in room were a bit grubby) and the cot bed for my son was super uncomfortable. If you’re not a dog lover or allergic - the property does allow pets. (This could be a pro for lots of people). The bathroom light is on a sensor and there is a window in the bathroom door (opaque). The midnight wee is a bit annoying as you end up lighting up the entire room.

The room, although compact, had all the facilities we could ask for. The tv in the room was a large one with access to channels such as Prime and Netflix ( a bonus). The shower was excellent to use and plenty of towels available. The drinks and biscuits were renewed everyday and the room made up.

The heating in the room was slightly overwhelming at times. We had a view of the car park but at least we could keep an eye on the car (to be fair we hadn't booked a room with a view of the loch so not really a complaint). The evening meal on our first night was average however the second night was excellent (us or them? Hard to know really). The breakfast we had was over priced.

This hotel was very clean, staff very attentive. The loch view from our bedroom (room 4) was exceptional and that it had a decking area outside to the loch which was especially great for our dog. This hotel was a truly dog friendly with dogs allowed in all areas including the dining room for dinner and breakfast. ROOM. Very Clean, beds very comfortable - Only Negative was the location of the light switches on the headboard as they were very high and could not be reached if in bed. BATHROOM Excellent shower. VIEW. AMAZING - Was not expecting this when booked room. A lochside view. If the stay was longer would have tried the jet-ski's which you can hire for £30 an hour which includes wet suit and life jacket.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel facilities at all.

The staff are lovely and really accommodating. When it turned out we'd been booked too small a room for our toddler's travel cot (due apparently to Booking.com assuming that children under a certain age will sleep in the same bed as the parents...??) the team did their best to find us an alternative room and only charged a marginal extra. Food was lovely and loch view rooms are fabulous. Lovely to wake up to the loch in the morning and sit on the terrace as the sun goes down!

In the chalet building to the left of the car park, the rooms on the side furthest from the loch are really quite small, with only a view of the car park. There's not a lot in the area without using a car to get to it - you can't really walk from the hotel for example as it's a busy main road.

Breakfast was superb, fantastic variety of choices , chef very accomodating to Adapt to guests tastes. The menu for meals and specials was superb. The ambience was very easy going and relaxing. Staff very helpful, & accommodating. Our room was clean & comfortable.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. There are maybe a few helpful suggestions to offer such as in room 1 with bath a grab rail to get in and out the bath safely for ppl who perhaps have difficulty or physical limitations. And slip mat in bath to prevent slipping accidents (which unfortunately did happen) There were cobwebs in bathroom ceiling but that's no biggy. Accident book? We mentioned to staff but perhaps they forgot to get bk to us.otherwise we found the hotel excellent and would 100% go back and Recommend

The room was lovely. Bathrooms great. Ddcdnt shower well laid out. The doors opening to the deck and the view over the loch is stunning. Lovely restaurant and bar area. All staff were great. Hannah was excellent ddda credit to the Inn.

Spiders webs..... Everywhere. Don't go if arachnophobia plaques you. I appreciate they can't be helped... However the doors windows are covered in them and dirty. A wet cloth when cleaning the rooms over outside of pvc and windows would take seconds and really make a massive difference. The bottom of the curtains on the lining are mouldy... These massively let the otherwise lovely room. The noise... Unfortunately the walls are paper thin..sounded like baby elephants in apartment above had to ask guests to turn music down as bass was thumping like a hammer on the floor.

The location was excellent. The loch side position was lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the wildlife. The was plenty of choice for both breakfast and an evening meal and the food was good quality and well presented. The room was lovely and bright, well equipped and comfortable. there was plenty of parking and lots to see and do nearby.

The rooms are very close together so there can be a bit of noise from people opening and closing doors but it did not spoil what was a very relaxing stay. The patios are not particularly private but they are big and have outside chairs and a table.

Comfortable room with all you need. Good tea and coffee making facilities, and a bottle of water in the room. WiFi speeds are good. Shower a little lacklustre, but got the job done! 😁 Nice to enjoy a beer by the loch and have a view from the restaurant. Food was very good and the waiting staff were exceptional. Excellent breakfast too. Really very good.

Was hoping for a view of the loch from my room, but it actually looks onto the car park. Not a problem, although the windows would benefit from nets to improve privacy. Road is close and the noise may bother light sleepers. Didn’t bother me - I had a great night’s sleep.

Stopped for a night on the way to Ben Nevis..... The rooms were clean and kept to a good standard - located across from the Bar/Restaurant in a separate building. Our room had a lovely balcony with view across the Loch. The Bar/Restaurant was pleasant also with views across the Loch, we ate at the restaurant in the evening food was good pub grub with a fair selection of drinks. Breakfast was even better and would defo recommend. Staff were also very friendly and helpful at all times.

Didn't have any real grumbles, there wasn't much in terms of entertainment in the bar - no TVs/Music/Games but we were only stopping the one night and this wasn't something we were particularly looking for in our stay but we may have stopped in the bar longer.

The staff where spot on and very attentive, food was very good and tasty and reasonably priced a finishing touch was the log fire in the bar/ dining room, my wife loved the cocktails especially sitting in front of that lovely log fire, the bedroom spotlessly clean and spacious and that little extra with outside space with a view of the Loch, parking was no problem plenty of spaces not sure what it would be like in summer but seems to be more than enough. The owner was very helpful with information of where to go and what to do, will definitely go back when it's a bit warmer, thank you Inn On The Loch for a very enjoyable stay.

The room was a little cold but was told they had a bit of trouble with the heating and was looking into it, no draught beer ( bitter ) had, the menu was limited could do with a bit more choice.
