Good spacious room above the furthest area of the bar which was empty on Mon and Tue nights. The young lady running things at the bar, taking orders, delivering food and keeping the banter going with everyone was fantastic! She works incredibly hard and stays cheerful throughout - would that I had her energy and positivity! Solid Greek menu as well as the English menu plus others too. Mind you, I never had a large portion of proper baklava with ice cream and chocolate sauce as a sweet in the time I lived in Greece.

The staff are lovely. The pub had good food and a nice atmosphere. Great distance from the walking spots. There is a co-op very close by.

The pub closed quite early, 22:30. Although this is a good thing for the guests staying upstairs I guess as there was no pub noise. The church does dingdong every 15 minutes throughout the night too.

In the centre of town, good facilities and good value. Public car parking nearby (lots of space) is free overnight but paid during the day. Its a pub in the centre of town so of course it is busy but fairly relaxed. Meals are available all day, not just breakfast.

The staff were so impressive ; immaculate manners, personable, helpful. The dinners were good, too - great variety and tasty.

The breakfast ; warm eggs, warm coffee, and toast that made Warbuton bread seem artisanal by comparison!. Maybe it was Warburton bread! Over-priced, too, at £10.

The Bucks Head is a genuinely old building with centuries of additions. It's in a fascinating spot right in the middle of this small town set among the Shropshire hills. The breakfast has a good choice and the staff were friendly. The tenants are Greek, which made for some interesting choices on the pub's food menu- a combination of pub grub and Greek dishes.

crusty welcome having arranged to leave cases at 10.30am in advance but difficulties successfully resolved and everything went well afterwards. clean comfortable rooms, on main road but virtually traffic free from 7pm to 8am. at least two real ales in good condition, wines good quality and inexpensive, greek themed menu with English alternatives and food was excellent. Breakfast- I’m speechless it was so good with HUGE portions. Walking and cycling routes from the door with basically hourly bus back from All and Little Stratton if you return on Eastern side of Long Mynd hills. Open all afternoon so we often had a beer after walking and a zzzz! - thoroughly recommended. ps We used local Private Hire service of Mark to reach top, then along ridge on the roughly level path and then made our way down to villages detailed earlier

Friendly staff. Good to see young staff being trained and encouraged to join the hospitality industry. Good location for travelling round. Quiet room despite being on the main street.

Bar was a bit quiet and doesn't deserve to be.

The hotel is in a good location and easy to find on arrival in Chutch Stretton. The hotel is a happy and friendly place. I have stayed at this hotel twice. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and a good choice of beer and wine.

Nothing needs changing.

Lovely large room above the pub with sash windows looking out front and back and a good size en-suite. Despite being right on the road, the pub is very quiet (apart from the church clock right behind the pub which struck the quarter hours throughout the night) and hardly any traffic passed. There was a great choice for breakfast, including pancakes, and the evening meals were also very good and well priced.

We wished we'd stayed here longer - everything was really good.

the room was large and nicely decorated. beds a bit lumpy and creaky but slept well. the walls are thin as I had the pleasure of listening to the guy next door talking on the phone to his girlfriend until quite late.

didn’t eat there. it looked a bit unappetising in the restaurant
