Spring River Ebbsfleet by Marston's Inns

It was a good size room, the beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The bed sheets were clean, the towels were clean. The room was cleaned while we were out, even if we stayed only for 2 nights. Many parking spaces. It was a good value for the money, and especially for a weekend stay. We will definitely come back.

The bathroom needs upgraded. The shower, even with the shower curtain, it was a lot of water over the shower curtain, to the sink and the toilet seat. The bath tub had coloured marks from the slippery mat. And it looks old style comparing to the room.

Location for Brands Hatch great. Family room spacious. Plenty of parking. Would stay again when visiting brands but would avoid the breakfast and find somewhere else or just get a delivery off just eat.

Breakfast at the adjoining pub is absolutely awful. Fried eggs never replensished and just sat under a heat lamp for a few hours. Low quality sausages and the bacon needed more cooking time to even get any colour on it. Housekeeping didn't clean our room even after speaking to them and leaving the sign on the door. Our bins were not emptied, no toilet roll or towels. We had to ask reception for replacements.

I have been using this hotel since September 2019 on a regular basis. The staff are always very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are a very good size and always clean to a very high standard. Beds are comfortable and a good size. facilities are excellent. Pub / Restaurant is very convenient and serves food to a very good standard and the menu changes quite regular and food selections are good.

Booked room only as I was up at 04:00 for a trip the following morning. Had dinner with my wife that night as we were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary and my sausages and mash I had was decent as well as my wife's Hunter's Chicken (I know, we could have had steak instead but neither of us fancied it). Pudding was great too. What was even better though was the lady who took our orders and served us. Very pleasant and a credit to Spring River.

Ale choice was a bit poor within the pub as only Pedigree on pump and a more expensive craft beer on tap. This, in itself, wasn't an issue, the fact that the smell prior to my first taste told me the beer was off was though. This was then replaced with the craft ale on tap and I was charged the price for this even though it wasn't my fault that the Pedigree was off. Hey ho!

We always stay at spring river whenever we come to north kent to see family etc. Its a well priced comfortable and friendly hotel and the restaurant attached is great for every meal. It has everything you need in a hotel with the added bonus of having a small co-op down the road for any other essentials you may need, snacks, drinks; though coffee and tea with plenty of biscuits are provided at the hotel.

The only thing we have come to find as the hotel ages is that the rooms need a lil spruce up, our bathrom this time had peeling paint which I've not noticed before. Other than a lil paint pick me up the hotel is excellent

Comfortable and generous size room. Basic amenties, but plentiful. Wonderful fluffy towels. Rooms are quiet with pretty decent lighting. Huge plus was the number of plug/usb sockets 👏👏👏 Onsite pub/restaurant serving decent pub food and great carvery every day. Small Co-op store few minutes walk from the hotel which is great. Close to the A2, but no traffic noise. Great location if you're staying for sightseeing, shopping at Bluewater or visiting family/friends. Huge plus point for us are the staff, following a sudden family bereavement we have been staying at the hotel during the week since 19th Feb. Everyone in the hotel/pub/restaurant have been kind, supportive and most of all friendly. This has truly helped us during such a difficult time.

Nothing

The hotel was a no frills hotel but very clean and tidy, and definitely had everything we needed for the one night we were staying there. The bedding was clean and fresh, they had fresh towel's and plenty of hot water. Restaurant right next door (which was fully booked up due to it being Mothering Sunday. Luckily there was a coop up just across the road where we got snacks from before driving into town for a meal.

Unfortunately we had booked to stay there on Mothering Sunday (totally slipped our minds) and we were unable to book in to the restaurant right next door to the hotel for an evening meal due to it being booked up and sadly there was no room service to order from.

This hotel was definitely purpose built because it's so quiet I thought the floor we were on was empty but reception said it was a full house. It has larger than normal rooms as well. I would class it as Holiday Inn standard for comparison. We ate at the pub as well on the night that we stayed and the service and food were all good. We will definitely stay here again. Staff were all polite and friendly as well.

Would have liked a box of tissue in the bathroom but that's just a suggestion/preference. I don't like blowing my nose with toilet roll.

This is a very good no frills motel/hotel. It is best reached by a car but we managed by public transport and taxi. The room was spacious and comfortable . There is a CO-OP very close to the hotel .

The motel is serviced by its own restaurant which had a discount if the accomodation was booked directly online . A small bar room refrigerator would be handy to avoid going outside to the restaurant for breakfast which only serves from 8.00. The restaurant does not serve takeaway coffee any earlier for early departures We were directed to the Co-op down the road .

Location great for brands hatch, modern, clean and comfortable. Staff always helpful and polite

Breakfast at the restaurant next door was not great, hot counter looked like everything had been reheated. Staff friendly but didn’t known the difference between normal, vegetarian and vegan.!I’ve vegan and she said the only thing I couldn’t eat was the black pudding!
