Brilliant location in Bexley. Merely minutes away from the train station and even closer to the bus stop that I needed to get to Sidcup due to train strikes (this was the reason for my stay.) As prices had sky rocketed for numerous hotels all over.. I was looking for something that didn't seem disgustingly money grabbing and I feel Bexley Village Hotel was very reasonable and that they were very friendly. I could only stretch to the single room and I have to say the bed was really comfortable and the decor did it so much more justice in person. It was bright and simple, yet sleek. The en-suite was perfect for me, with all the toiletries provided and plenty of towels for my 1 night stay. Plenty of tea/ coffee provided. Easy Wifi use. Lovely discounted offers on near by restaurants. I slept so peacefully and was very happy here for the night. Thank you!

This is extremely nit picky as it's not something that bothered me at all but I always like a bit of music on when I have a hotel stay. I couldn't find any music channels but there was otherwise a very good selection of tv channels.

Despite there being no on-site parking, everything else about this hotel was either superb or very nearly so. The hotel itself is full of character, not bland or anodyne like so many chain hotels and yet it had all the expected facilities in the room and attached bathroom to make it a relaxing and pleasant stay. Lucky, the owner and chief receptionist, was helpfulness personified, directing me to a variety of places to eat, each of which gave a discount for guests of the hotel. There is a good vegetarian/vegan restaurant next door with a very nice bar and further down there is the Kings Head, a proper "local pub" with the added bonus of it housing a fabulous Thai restaurant where table service and a wide range of excellent, tasty and reasonably priced Thai food can be enjoyed. For breakfast, there's a lovely Italian deli next door, whose "Italian" breakfast is a triumph and where other options are available (including a full "English" including the usual round of pastries and coffees. All in all a superb hotel in a charming town. Recommended.

I love how comfortable the rooms were, the staff were very friendly, we arrived late on Friday and they were friendly and very responsive to messages as we made our way there. A perfect location, we would visit again. The Jade coffee shop has great croissants and coffee.

Although you can hear music on the weekend from the bars it is not too much and quiet by 11pm. If you are a light sleeper this may bother you, we were fine with it and our 12 years slept right through from 9.

Clean & comfortable hotel close to all necessary amenities. We stayed in the family room. Received a call the day before we were due to arrive to warn us of an issue with the shower & that we may need to stay in another room. This was the case when we arrived and thankfully they were able to squeeze in an additional bed for our daughter. Although they said it was a small room, it more than met our needs. We were moved to the family room the following day after our day trip out. We were very grateful for the help & the warning we received the day before. Beds were comfortable & our daughter loved the biscuits provided with the tea & coffee! We have already booked to come back next year when we are down for a family wedding.

Noisey at the front with traffic. Nothing that a set of earplugs can't fix though.

Immaculately clean. We were well informed on how to get into the property before we arrived as we were running late. Nothing too much trouble. Comfy bed. Clean towels both days and refills of coffee and tea and biscuits. Very central and opposite a car park.

Nothing really except on arrival it doesn’t look very appealing as downstairs front is a letting agency but don’t let that fool you as there is a gem of a hotel inside. There was nothing not to like.

Clean and comfortable rooms in this converted old building. Only a few minutes walk from a station on the line going directly to Charing Cross. No bar or food available but discounts have been arranged with local cafes and restaurants. Well placed for easy access from the M25 without passing through the current low emission zones.

No parking on site. Some information on local car parks could be useful- we found the station car park suitable as you can pay for several days' stay in one go.

We were given a beautiful, additional room, free of charge as our family room was not available on the day of check in. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The staff were brilliant at keeping us informed of our room availability on day of traveling to them for check in

A mini fridge and a few basic pieces of cutlery would be a great idea for guests to have in their rooms (bottle opener/knife and fork) as the hotel staff are not on-site so it feels more like a self catering hotel.

Room service each day i stayed, nice quiet location even though in the centre of town.

When I arrived the room was so cold and I do mean cold, I put on the heater and sat next to it for the following hour, really the room should have at least been warmed slightly before guests arrive. Tv reception on most stations was reply poor, I gave up in the end trying to watch anything.

Lucky was very efficient and friendly and very helpful. His staff was very helpful and friendly also. There was nothing too much trouble for them. Gave us plenty of information about the locality and the discounts that you received from other outlets within the village if we mentioned that we were staying at the hotel. Excellent place to stay, great location for getting into London Central. Had a great stay.

A relaxing lounge area would have been ideal as we were part of a large group staying there for the weekend.

Location is great for bars etc and station with trains to london Low bed but mega comfy Nice staff as always Been six or seven times now

Not so much a not like but our room could have done with a bit of TLC Not dirty but just needs painting, wires hiding, holders in bathroom replacing etc
