Arran House Hotel

Great location, round the corner from 2 underground stations, lovely little coffee street across the road. Rooms nice and spacious, plenty of plugs, we had a built in bathroom which was nice plus access to the communal ones which was a great help. Owner was lovely, nice brekkie and lovely helpful ladies working there. Happy to store luggage before and after check in, owner printed name stickers for all left bags. Comfy beds, tea and coffee, hairdryer a nice touch.

Couldn’t fault it. We paid under £400 for 4 of us for two nights including breakfast. Prefect

Local to theatres. good value for money. Beds comfortable and clean. Friendly welcoming staff.

Bathrooms are shared down the corridor which wasn’t a problem. but one was found to have a wet floor in the night. and the other has a step which requires yellow tape and a notice to alert people of the step, we both missed it and tumbled, luckily no harm.

Extremely polite staff , a good choice of nicely prepared breakfasts in a fairly quiet area not too far from the theatre district. Great value and ideal for a short stay. We would definitely book again .

If one can rationalise one’s expectations in return for good value there is nothing to criticise !

The staff were fantastic and very helpful.We had a small matinance issue and were able to contact the reception who dealt with this issue immediately.The location was great and not too far from where we needed to be.The continental breakfast had a good variety of items to choose from.Fantastic value for the money paid for our stay.

The room was unfortunately a bit dusty and the cups left for tea and coffee in the room were dirty so I had to wash them before I could use them.The breakfast room had plenty of table space but it was difficult to move between tables when people were sat at them.

Loved how cozy the room was and beds were comfortable to sleep in, a decent sized room. Very clean and tidy.The staff were very nice to chat with and were there for help if needed.

The breakfast menu was very limited as there were no meat based products for example sausage or bacon and the door on the second floor shower wasn't opening properly. Sometimes the windows in the bedroom were tight to open or close and the aerial to the TV didn't always stay with the signal so it kept jumping.

The location was excellent for the tube. Breakfast was very good indeed with cooked breakfast, good selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts , toast and selection of juices and hot drinks. Beds very comfortable and our quad room was a good size. En suite, though cosy was clean and fresh towels supplied daily. Staff were friendly and reception open 24 hours a day. Very good price for location & facilities.

Stairways were a rather grubby in comparison to the rest of the areas. Bannisters were dirty with really grubby hand marks, could definitely do with a good clean.

The location is very close to central London and just a short walk away from Euston station and British museum. You can visit the other tourist attractions using hop on hop off. The staff are very friendly. The room was very good for the price.The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had been very sceptical after reading the other reviews but I was very pleasantly surprised with the room. Large enough for 4 people.

Cleanliness in the nooks and corners. Tiny ensuite. Cooked part of breakfast could have been better.

The hotel was great located, the room was big enough for one person, and sharing the bathroom was never an inconvenience. I really like the fact that they room had a sink. The room was better than what I expected. I also like the fact that I could leave my bags in the reception before and after Check in and Check out. The breakfast was also a very positive experience. My stay (7 nights) was overall great.

I would like the option of bringing guest. It had no elevators so lifting luggage on the upper floors is challenging.
