Morgan Hotel

- Excellent breakfast - Perfect location for shopping as well as for exploring central London

- Very small and old rooms - No elevator

Location is very good, room was small but clean

Staff were friendly and helpful. Manager assisted us get our bags upstairs and lent me an adaptor when I left my at my last location. Couldn't do enough to help. Air-conditioning was a god-send! It was hot in London so it was lovely to be able to cool off. Breakfast was good and included in price. Location was fabulous. 300 metres to Tottenham Court Station which is centrally located, has lifts and on the line to Heathrow. Hotel is a short walk to many of the popular sites and on same block as British Museum.

Stairs but I knew that when I booked. Location and aircon made up for that.

I loved it that it was super close to all popular attractions, The British Museum is literally around the corner. Quite close to the Buckingham Palace and theatres. I even got to watch a play.

The rooms were so close to each other and the walls were thin. At my first night, I thought someone was trying my door but turned out it was just next door. They are that close and the walls are that thin. I also think the hotel could use a lift but since it's probably a Victorian building, it's out of the question, however they could arrange a side lift, maybe, by the stairs, for the baggages.

The apartment had everything that we needed. It was clean and tidy, warm and secure. The breakfast was nice and they provided gluten free toast for my husband, however, my daughter was disappointed because she wanted pancakes and a better range of cereals. The location of this hotel is its selling point and the staff are very friendly.

There were no lifts in our accommodation, so we had to climb 59 steps every time, which after a full day’s shopping was exhausting. However, we were willing to put up with that because the location of this accommodation compensated for it.

It was nice to have the breakfast included and it was quite good. The room was a little small but as I travel alone, that's not an issue. It was nice to have air conditioning and a kettle in the room. The receptionist was very helpful with helping find locations that I wanted to go to.

The room was not cleaned every day. I usually do not mind, but I would rather be told upfront that it will not as I could've gone to reception to ask for more coffee for the kettle.

We had the large one bedroom apartment for 5 people. It was a very large space and perfect for our family. The hotel is 10 minute walk to Covent Garden and less than 5 minutes to the underground. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. An all round excellent experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Morgan Hotel. The only negative was the wifi was a little slow, but we were on vacation, so that didn't bother us much. (Also, in answer to the reviews that say there is no lock on the bathroom door. There is a lock, it is just at the top of the door and easy to miss if you don't look up.)

Ideally located for the west end, clean and comfortable. Very helpful and welcoming staff, happy to store our bags before and after checking in and out. Freshly prepared breakfast with ample tea and coffee and juice.

My only niggle is we were in a basement guest room, I couldn't see an emergency exit if needed but thats me, I would stay her again but ask for a higher up room.

One of the better examples of the many similar B&B hotels in this area, converted from Georgian townhouses. Great location. Warm, clean and comfortable. Very quiet (room at the back). Bedroom simple but perfectly adequate for a night with little luggage; good aircon; slept well. Breakfast room in the basement (along with reception); good choice of breakfast, served promptly; scrambled egg a bit rubbery.

Wifi terrible; so slow I gave up and used the wifi from the British Museum next door instead. Climbing up and down many flights of stairs is a nuisance but inevitable given the nature of the property.

We accidentally booked the wrong day for the very last night of our trip (our fault, not the hotels) and arrived a night early. While the hotel was fully booked, the staff member on duty was incredible. He let us sit in the dining area, brought us drinks, and assisted us in finding a new hotel for the night (at 8pm in London during Wimbledon season!) We unfortunately did not get to stay at the Morgan Hotel this time, but would definitely go back due to the excellent customer service.
