Radisson Blu Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel, London

Really beautiful hotel with premium finishes. The room was spacious was a comfy bed and lovely bathroom with a bathtub.

When checking in I was informed very casually that they had sold out of double rooms (the room I had selected, booked and paid for ahead of my visit) and that for the ‘very good deal’ of £30 I could pay to upgrade to a king room. I told the member of staff I wanted a room at the rate in which I had booked and paid for and would not be paying any more money. The staff member seemed taken aback by this which was bizarre - terrible customer service. I asked if I could have a twin room as this shared the same rate as a double and luckily one was available. It’s outrageous they expected me to pay for their error.

We didn't stay at Kenilworth we were moved to the grafton Hotel but the grafton had really nice staff room was small

We didn't stay at the Kenilworth, we were moved last minute by email stating the government had taken over the hotel, but if you went to book the hotel for our dates bookings were being taken for £1000 more the room had no cupboard space hanging space only

Nice size room, clean and tidy. Lovely entrance lobby. Easy checking in online. Friendly staff.

We booked a different Raddison and we were moved a day before to one 15 minutes walk away from our original. We weren't offered any discount for the inconvenience. We chose the original for location. Room had street noise.

The hotel is in an excellent location. A short walk to Covent Garden and Tottenham Court Road Tube station which is on the central line. We had a twin room, it wasn’t a big room but had everything we needed and a lovely bathroom. The staff were all friendly and efficient and the breakfast was beautiful. I can’t fault this hotel.

Very clean room and bathroom and a most comfy bed. The staff was excellent they were very nice and very helpful. Breakfast had a great selection of continental and English breakfast to choose from.

A bit more modern furniture it was too dark and old fashioned for our liking plus the toilet flushing system in our room was very troublesome and the hotel maintenance staff had to deal with it a couple of times.

The location is excellent. Close enough to St Pancras to walk to the hotel, 5 minutes away from Tottenham Court Road underground station. Neat hotel.

The check-in didn't feel very welcoming. I had asked for two separate beds through bookings and since that was impossible, they promised to make the bed with two duvets. Upon arrival they had not done so. I also didn't receive any hotel information during check-in so I had to ask about breakfast times and the gym later. Shower is attached to the wall which is just a detail, but I find it inconvenient. The room was very small for two people. After my sister left I had the room to myself and only then it felt like a comfortable size.

Absolutely immaculate and smelt beautiful! warm welcome from staff although It was confirmed we were on a lower level room but we got put on the top floor with a really noisy generator outside our window. The lady said there was nothing they could do as we had the best room in the hotel. However for me to layer phone reception and ask again to be moved the night staff couldn’t do enough to help and were moved within five minutes to an upgraded room, so we weren’t originally in “the best” room in the hotel. Overall an absolutely beautiful hotel that is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Good value for money and ok location.

Dayshift manager refused to move us despite our room being confirmed only for night staff to do their upmost to help! So she could have moved us is she wanted to.

Location: The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Tottenham Road Elizabeth Line Underground station, which runs directly from Heathrow. The free British Museum is virtually across the street, which makes popping in and out easy. Other London sites including Trafalger Square, Big Ben, The Thames and the National Gallery are walking distance or a quick subway ride away. Our room was small but clean and tidy with comfortable beds. The restaurant was very good for those times you are too worn out to go out for dinner, even though the area is surrounded by great restaurants and Soho is just blocks away.
