Hotel Cavendish

The location was great - quiet street off a busier shopping street. The place was very clean. housekeeping always kept me well stocked up on tea. Great water pressure and water heated up really quickly and the room was very warm. There was even a plug in fan in the room. Good TV on the wall with heaps of local channels

So the room was essentially a box room with a single bed and an en-suite squashed in - so I cant speak for any other room. You couldn't sit on the toilet properly - my legs wouldn't fit between the toilet and the wall. Personally I just found this funny. Breakfast was a basic continental breakfast which finished at 9 or 9.30 so I cant rate it because I was never awake on time - the room looked nice though

Great location, close to the subway and Regent Street shopping. Lots of places to eat nearby. Very helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast.

We booked two rooms at the same price but one was definitely better than the other. Both rooms were on the 3rd floor. 58 steep steps from reception to our room and 70 steps from the breakfast room in the basement to our room. Way too may steps for me. I would stay at Hotel Cavendish again but next time I'll ask for a room on a lower level.

We had a great stay here. The staff was exceptionally warm and friendly when we arrived. We stayed only one night with our young toddler and they were able to get us a ground floor room (great with the stroller), accommodate early check in, and had a nice baby cot/pack and play for us to use that looked new. The double room we booked had plenty of space for the three of us plus luggage and the stroller. The room was super clean and comfortable. The location was safe and walking distance from major sights, very well connected. I honestly was surprised that this hotel didn't have a higher star rating considering our experience. Highly recommend, and want to give a shoutout to the kind staff who even went as far as helping us arrange a taxi with a carseat for our early morning airport trip. Will be back!

This Hotel is in a very good place, underground is close, also a good place to go for sightseeing as You can reach the centre in one or two underground stations. The staff is extremely kind and helpful! It is our second time in this hotel and this is the reason why we wanted to go back here, because we are satisfied with everything about the accomodation and the place. We even got a bigger room for which we are really thankful!, our daugther was slipping in the big double bed like a little princess.:-) Also the heating was very good, we also enjoyed the nice breakfast - the home made croissan, it was delicious! We could easily reach everything with underground from here, also there were nice caffees and restaurants around. The room was very nice and clean! And the staff was very kind and helpful! Thank You very much for everything! We will come back!:-)

Great location close to everything. Room was big enough for us, continental breakfast was good enough to get you started in the morning. The staff are so friendly nothing was a problem for them not that we had any.

No lift but that was not the hotels fault we knew that before we booked, no air conditioning, but a fan was in the room which did help, also the heat was not the hotels fault so really there was not a lot to dislike about the actual hotel.

Very friendly and helpful service. Very clean. The continental breakfast was superb, lots of choices of breads, rolls, croissants, yogurts, cereals, fruits, and various spreads as well as a choice of fruit juices and hot drinks, including herbal teas. The hotel itself has a charming character. The location is perfect walking distance for Shaftesbury Theatre, Euston Square and Tottenham Court Rd tube stations and Oxford Street etc. There is no lift, which we were told about before our stay, and the third floor rooms may be challenging to some, but we enjoyed the extra exercise! We had a triple room and a single cabin room. Exceptional value. I will definitely rebook at this hotel when next in London.

The location is excellent for the train station with links to the airport and close enough to walk into central London within 5 minutes. The hotel represents excellent value for money and I stay there on a regular basis . All staff are very helpful and make you feel welcome . Double rooms are a nice size much larger than other London hotels I have stayed in . The breakfasts are a mixture of buffet and full english and very tasty. The best reference that I can give is that it is my go to location to stay in London.

This place is fantastic. Dated, but clean and the location is brilliant. 6 or 7 slow minute walk to Goodge St station. 5 minute walk to a lovely little pub. 10 minute walk to Euston Station (same sreett as the hotel) Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing in a cosy little downstairs room. I'd 100% stay here again. Our room was on the ground floor and was very quiet, considering. Tea and Coffee making facilities replaced daily and the room was small but enough for two people no problems. Honestly, this is a lovely place to stay.

The shower in our room wasn't great, but nothing to complain about.

First of all location was superb. On arrival staff very pleasant and helpful. Room spotless. We stayed for 2 nights 31st and 1st April 2023 and breakfast was of high quality and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning Many thanks Paul Blaber

Nothing Can't think of anything other than maybe a cooked breakfast would have been nice as well as a continental one

The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good breakfast choices and the food was nicely cooked. There was also a choice of vegetarian sausage. The hotel is ideally placed for theatres, bookshops and the British Museum.

The bathroom was very compact but the room was advertised as a cabin room, so that is to be expected. It would be useful to have a small plastic jug in the room to fill the kettle, as the sink is quite shallow. The kettle won't fit under the taps and I was afraid I would break the cup against the sink each time I used it.
