We have no complaints about the hotel or our stay, though the price rose sharply between finding/saving the booking and reserving the booking through booking.com.

Upon arrival, we were told that we were inconveniently late (just after 3pm). However, I had not been told that we needed to arrive by this time. I later saw that I had been emailed to say that we would have to check in remotely if arriving after 3pm, but still I am not sure why the receptionist felt the need to make this point.

Everything good apart from that we could hear all the noise from the corridor which wasn’t pleasant.

Double windows, renovated. Good WiFi. Good Breakfast. Extremely friendly staff. We met about 4 people from the staff, and they were all very friendly. Atmosphere itself was also very friendly. Location is totally okay for London, good public transport connections to anywhere in central London. Bathroom was fully renovated. Free coffee and tea 24/7. Great value for money.

First off, I can really recommend a stay here. It was amazing. The negatives are just for information.:) Our room was really quite small, but we got used to that already on the first day, afterwards it was just cozy and comfy. Pictures are a bit misleading on booking.com in my opinion.

Super easy self check in process. Really clear instructions. Really easy to find hotel and clearly sign posted. It had a great vibe about the place. The room was slightly smaller then I thought it would be and I didn't realise the toilet/shower weren't in the room. however it was right across the hall so not a problem. The shower was excellent and super clean. We were able to grab a tea as soon as we arrived and they had a good selection of free hot drinks. It was nice to have a TV in the room. Bed super comfy also. All in all well worth the price and will definitely stay again!

Clean room good location if going to Brixton academy, and it's a short walk from Peckham Station. Breakfast was lovely and the little kitchen so could get a cup of tea or drink was excellent especially after coming back late from a long day's travel from an event. Lady at the front desk was friendly too when handed our room key back.

Only issue would be the bathroom was a little cramped especially if sitting on the loo as the toilet faces the wall, a shelf in the shower to put your flannel/ shampoo bar or soap be nice. And a little shelf or holder near the sink to put toothbrushes be handy.

The location was perfect and it was a self check in - the instructions were clear. Comfy bed and a nice quality continental breakfast - self boil eggs, toast, yoghurts, muffins. Hot drinks available downstairs. The room was very clean and decorated nicely. Ample towels and toiletries provided.

The room was much smaller than advertised on booking.com - you could only open the shower door when the bathroom door was open. it was noisy as backed on to the stairs to the basement where people went for breakfast. There were no cold drinks available for breakfast. Payment had been taken before I checked out. Was told all the rooms were deluxe and they only use one set of photos.

The room, although bijou, was very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. That said the maintenance team could have a look at some of the decor. The bathroom was very functional and well equipped and the self service breakfast was just right with a good choice of fare. The staff were very friendly and the place was very clean. Excellent location with local amenities close at hand

Our only real criticism was the lack of any tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The staff was very accommodating from the beginning to the end. We asked for an early check-in as we had a wedding that afternoon and after seeking confirmation from the cleaners they accommodated our request. They also left an iron and ironing board in our room. Finally, my brother in law (staying in another room) locked himself outside the room in the middle of the night despite very clear instructions. The staff helped him to get back in straight away. It is great to see that the concept of service still exists, thank you .

Basic room but it was perfect for our needs!!

When I had 2 issues on both nights with my room and I had planned a late arrival, the fact that there was no reception staff, and nobody answered the provide phone number caused a problem. I eventually got sorted on both nights but when returned on my second night was locked out of my room due to an incorrectly programmed door key card, until someone arrived about 40mins after I called for assistance.

The room was very modern with new features. The location is great if you want to be just outside of the city center, but still close enough to catch public transit to major sites. It typically took about 35-45 minutes by bus every morning when I went into the city. The staff were super helpful and the breakfast room was always open for tea and coffee.

The size of my room was a little smaller than pictures show so it was a tight fit for my larger suitcase. If I was sharing the room with someone else it would have been very tight to fit more luggage.
