Location is excellent.close to everything so didn't have to use a car .Also very close to subway if you want to go far.Staff were friendly and accomadted my son's special needs( he is autistic and very sensetive to noises so we needed a quite room ).A lot of restaurants and places near by so I was able to take my son for walks to calm him down .They allowed us to check out at 1 pm and we were able to leave our luggage till our flight at 7pm

Good location, having a seating area in the room, rooftop bar

One receptionist was very sullen, slow, unhelpful and didn't follow through with providing requested supplies (all other staff were great). Very firm adherence to 4pm check-in time meant large quantity of stored luggage blocking walkways, lengthy wait to check-in with everyone trying to do this at the same time. Would have been much better to do as many hotels do and check if particular room ready, and if so allow that guest to check in early. Requested replacement coffee, reassured this would be delivered to room, wasn't, had to request it again to a different staff member which was actioned. Floor vinyl needs re-laying as extremely lumpy. Noisy airconditioner.

Loved the location and front desk staff. Room was good layout with safe, microwave and refrigerator. I liked that there was no carpeting on the floors. Bathroom was modern and fresh. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well. Quiet.

Our room was serviced on the 4th day. We were advised of that and were ok with it, but nothing was replenished (no towels, TP, Kleenex, coffee, etc) so we had to call down for it when we returned that evening. Hotel should consider garbage liners for in the rooms since not servicing daily. We saw people leave garbage in the halls every day for pickup.

Close to subway stations such as 28th Street subway station, 34th Street Subway Station and Penn Street Station. Walking distance to 34th street, Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Empire State Building, Hudson Yards, The High Line, the Edge and other major New York City attractions. Walking distance from Deli’s and other food establishments. Rooftop bar had good view of NYC skyline, inclusive of One World Trade Centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly inclusive of Angel, Brian, Shelton, Alexandria and Theresa. We extended our stay by an 3 additional days and were accomodated in another room and thankfully didn't have to find another hotel. Additionally, our return flight from NYC was then canceled for 3 days due to strike action by pilots and the Manager Brian gave us a 25% per day discount for each of our unscheduled additional days - you can’t get better and delightful customer service than this in a hotel. In all we spent 16 days in the hotel and the experience was overall pleasant.

Your room is cleaned every 3 days and only upon request made to the front desk. This needs to be changed to at least every 2 days and must be done automatically as in other hotels; there should be no need to request this service. If a guest doesn't want the room cleaned then the guest can place a "Do not disturb" sign on the door.

Well connected by tube/subway; good location; nice staff.

Perhaps check in timings - 4pm is a bit late in the afternoon!

The room was comfortable, and having two queen size beds was great - the latter was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The location was great with easy access to two subway lines very close by, as well as a short walk to Penn Station & Madison Square Gardens. The front desk staff were friendly and always happy to help. We would stay here again!

Housekeeping is scheduled for every third day of your visit and requests need to be submitted a day in advance. It was very lazilly done with only 2 of 4 sets of towels replenished, glasses not cleaned/changed, and coffee & coffee cups weren't replenished either; I regretted leaving a tip for that housekeeper. We were able to request more towels and get more plastic "glasses" from the front desk. We ended up running out of the very runny body wash in the locked containers and it felt like too much of a hassle to arrange for more; we just used the bar hand soap and some body wash we accidentally brought with us.

The employees are very friendly. They inform you at the beginning that there won‘t be housekeeping every day, rather you need to tell them if you want your room cleaned or not ( I think after the 3rd day). Personally I think it‘s okay because a room rarely needs to be cleaned every single day. But keep that in mind. Another plus is the location, it‘s close to the Times Square or Empire State Building. Metro stations are also close by. There is also a lovely rooftop bar/terrace. All in all a good hotel!

This should just be an information for people who need more space due to their physical appearance. The bathroom is very small, the door opens to the inside which may makes entering and leaving the bathroom a bit tricky for some people. Maybe they have different sized bathrooms in other rooms. A tiny thing we would have wished for was more light. The room was quite dark and there wasn‘t that much light to turn on.

On arrival was greeted by Alexandria. A very pleasant & welcoming reception. She is a lovely lady & a credit to the hotel. Any queries had throughout the stay was no problem. Reception area was lovely, few places to sit down & chill, two computers. Entrance to hotel had outside seating. Check-in was quick, easy & efficient. Stayed on the 11th floor of the 18th floor building plus roof top area & -1 floor for gym. Two lifts were quick & no waiting time to access them. Room was very spacious. Massive bed that could easily fit 4 grown adults comfortably. Nice big couch too, aswell as a little table & office chair & desk like area. Coffee machine, safe, fridge & microwave were also present. Nice big window over looking 28th street. Bathroom was idle size & fit for purpose. Big shower, toilet & sink. What more would you need. Towels were provided along with toiletries ie shampoo, soap etc. Roof top area was lovely. Plenty of seating & wonderful view of downtown manhattan & easily identifiable One World Trade Center both at daytime & night-time. Nice place to chill at the end of the day with food you brought back. No breakfast which I didn't mind as its nice to go out & try the local places. Obviously, you're in the heart of NYC, so you are going to hear all the noise of sirens, horns & bin lorrys (garbage truck). All which I loved as it's just what you see on the TV. $100 damage deposit refundable few banking days after check-out. Security on at nights in hotel which made it feel more safe. Lifts only worked if you have hotel card which again is like extra safety. Check-out was quick again & they held luggageas as was on a late flight. Enquired about handiest way to get to JFK. Hotel has a flat rate service of $95 dollars to airport. So got that & pick up was right out at hotel front. So no walking the streets with bags. I would definitely stay here again.

Last night there was a lot of noise coming from the room next door. Absolutely nothing to do with hotel just loud guests.

The location was perfect! Close to public transportation and within walking distance of some major points of interest. The staff was absolutely wonderful! We arrived earlier than check-in and they allowed us to leave our bags there so we could begin our adventure. They were helpful, kind, and offered great advice during our trip. I would stay here again just based on their service and hospitality. The room was very nice and we had a great view, it was clean and comfortable. I especially loved that there was a sofa in the room. The rooftop bar was really nice and the views were breathtaking, the bartender was so fun to talk to. He offered great insights and directed us to some fantastic NY pizza.

There was only one annoyance. The sliding shower door in our room leaked quite a bit. That meant cleaning up the floor after cleaning ourselves. No big deal, just slightly annoying.

The room was itself was very spacious and affordable for NYC standards. The bed was comfortable and so was the shower. The location is great. Close to Penn station and subway to all parts of the city. Several sights are within walking distance. I would happily stay here again.

The bathroom is rather small, once you entered it you have to squeeze yourself in between the toilet and the shower to be able to close the door. The first night a group of people staying on our floor were very loud. Luckily this did not last until late in the evening. I do not understand why people need to shout when they are in the same room talking to each other; they did not seem to have an argument, but were just plain loud. Of course this is not the hotel's fault, but it is annoying.
