very comfortable beds, clean bathroom, friendly helpful staff, nice cosmetics, good equipment (fridge, microwave, hair dryer, tea/coffee machine) - great location for sightseeing, close to two subway lines, walking distance to many famous sights, would definitely recommend it and would stay there again

with four people in the room we always had only one/two coffees and cups left by cleaning service personnel and had to go down to reception to get more - no problem with that, staff was superfriendly and always gave whatever we needed - just found it annoying and would recommend a quick fix 😉

Great location, 4 minute walk to two different subway stations, to Times Square in ten minutes. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean. Nice touch to have the flavoured ice water and fruit in the lobby in the afternoons. Check in and out were quick. Liked that they held our bags for free before our room was ready. Air conditioning worked well (too well!) Loved having a good sized mini fridge and microwave for leftovers, this is important to us when travelling. Queen sized beds were nice, better than doubles!

Excellent location, walkable to everything we want to visit in Manhattan. The staff were all very friendly and nice - reception and rooms. Special mention for Natasha at reception when we checked in - we had a really warm welcome.

Nothing we didn’t like, except perhaps that there were no bedroom slippers. But that is minor compared to the overall stay.

Location is very short walk to two subway stations, and only slightly longer walks to others. It's also a walkable distance from two Whole Foods and a Fairway Market when you feel like a non-restaurant meal. Quick and easy subway access to theater district if you want to go to a show at night. The breakfast provided a good start to the day and I was glad I included that in my stay. The bathroom has a good strong shower, fast hot water, and good lighting. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I did have noise from neighboring room one night -- an exuberant group who liked their music, and lots of coming and going from another room and clanging room door. I don't know if the walls are that thin or if they just had the music really loud. I was going to call the front desk about the noise, but luckily, they eventually went out and they were there for only one night. There are only 2 elevators so sometimes you have to be patient and plan ahead.

This hotel is in a great location. Very easy to find if arriving from Penn Station & is close to subway. Always felt safe in the area, even when coming back late at night. The staff is exceptional. Always greeted me when I entered or left the hotel. I arrived earlier than the check in time & they had a room ready for me. They had freshly made lemonade each day I was there...very nice touch especially since it was HOT during my stay. I think I saw cookies at the reception desk but I never grabbed one. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. Each day, the towels were replenished & beds were made. The hotel is very clean. I thought the room size was very generous...enough room to move around. A bonus is that there is a microwave & fridge in the room. Next time I come to New York, I will be staying here.

Location was superb, front desk staff was nice and room was also quite nice. Waffles were the best😀. We were also pleasantly surprised by how short waiting times for the lifts were despite being such a big hotel. We went down for breakfast on most days and getting up and down the lifts was not a big deal even for those supposedly busy times.

I would get more variety for breakfast. Hard boiled eggs seemed unreasonable given how easy it is to prepare both scrambled and fried eggs. Bacon and/or sausages would have been a nice addition to the breakfast menu.

Quiet - provided you manage to get a room at the back of the hotel. Breakfast is good. Well worth booking a room with included breakfast as it is $25 + tax to book at the hotel. Staff in reception and breakfast room very helpful and friendly. Rooms a reasonable size for a central New York hotel in this price range. Very convenient for subway with 2 stops within 3-4 minutes walk.

No safe in the room. Aircon unit within the room is quite noisy whih meant we didn't sleep much on the first night. Better after that as we got used to it. The toilet blocked at one point. However, this was fixed within 90 minutes of being reported. Tea and coffee in the room werem't always replaced by the staff. When one of the 2 lifts breaks down (which happened twice during our 4 night stay), you can wait 5 minutes or more for a lift.

Beautiful views from room in the last 24th floor. Comfy bathroom, good size of bed and room.

The room door had a little gap so you could hear noises from the corridors. Also windows could be more noise proof. You can hear a lot the street noises (ambulances etc).

Lack of hot element to breakfast. Or at the very least some sliced meats or cheese would have been nice.

Excelent location. Just two stops away from time square so if you are looking to catch a broadway show at 7 pm, you can leave from your room as late as 6:15 pm with a cuppa coffee made in your own room in the lovely coffee machine. The property is on a street full of flower shops and plant nurseries, which just instantly put you in a good mood as you walk through rows of plants and flowers to get from the subway station to the hotel. A Duane Reade pharmacy, loads of cafes and restaurants are just around the corner. The bed is perfect. Not too soft. Not too hard. Having a microwave and fridge in every room is a great plus. Also I got an early check in at 11:30 am as my room was ready. I was totally mentally prepared to leave luggage with them and come back to check in around 3 to 4 pm. So getting my keys even before noon was a super pleasant surprise.Housekeeping staff Glenny's on my floor was fantastic. Sam in lobby security is a charmer. John Mary at the reception is lovely. She collected my Amazon delivery packages and even offered to get them sent up to the room. Fatima helped me check out and suggested a lovely cab service to the JFK airport which turned out even cheaper than the Flat rate of the yellow cabs for JFK.

I really wish they had a safety deposit box in the room. It's kinda unnerving to not be able to put your passport/laptop/valuables in a locker when you step out.
