World Center Hotel

Very good location, a spacious room with a kitchen. Great service: even before the arrival, we were offered to improve the room with a small surcharge. On the day of check out got opportunity to stay for several more hours if necessery. The hotel is united with the neighboring one, so we could use two wonderful terraces on the twentieth floor. One of them has a bar and a great view of One World Trade Center, the second has cozy sofas and chairs. My husband and I are very pleased with our stay and be sure to return to this hotel.

The house keeping management. I stayed there almost 20 days and no matter how many times I asked and the front desk asked for full cleaning service, they totally ignored it. At one point my room had not been cleaned for 5 days!!!!!!!! They have me lots of excuses like the system was down, you had back to back reservations, and so on.... but no matter what.... when a guest requests room service, the guest should receive it. After all, we're paying for the service for goodness sake!!!!

Great modern hotel in an amazing location. You have multiple metro stops few minutes from the hotel, PATH train 5minutes away and Battery Park with ferry services maybe 10minutes away. The staff is very polite and helpful, everything went smoothly. We were here for a quite a long time with no issues. The room was good size for the two of us, comfortable beds, large TV, even a fridge and microwave. The AC was good maybe a little bit noisy when turning on. The bathroom was good size, everything clean. We had a view on a 9/11 memorial and WTC, and it was magical (especially at night). The Wifi was amazing, good speed and no disconnects. The cleaning had to be "ordered" but it was convenient for us. Another big plus was coffee and tea in a lobby anytime we wanted. We would definitely stay here again!

Just a few minor issues could be fixed: - The "balcony" door didn't seal properly, so there was a little bit of noise/cold from outside - During check-in they took credit card info on a piece of paper for the security deposit, in my opinion very insecure handling of credit card info For the price there could be a breakfast included.

Liked the location a lot. Liked the room. Lobby was nice. Rooftop bar was nice.

I dont like that we got roomservice, clean towels and maked bed every 3 rd day in 5 days stay ! Im paying for the room and service and you are not a low price hotel.

First and foremost, the staff who welcomed us and looked after us during our stay. The hotel is in a perfect location for visitors who wish to visit the World Trade Centre, the Museum, the Statue of Liberty etc. It’s close to the underground/subway system and Times Square is only half an hour (less than £2.50) by underground train.

Tea and coffee replacement in the room, emptying the bins or changing the towels has to be requested by phoning reception rather than done automatically.

This hotel is truly exceptional, it surprised us in so many ways! I got this room with a Black Friday Deal from Booking, so I was a bit worried about the actual place being too-good-to-be-true. I stayed here 10 years ago and it was great, but hotels in NYC usually decay rapidly. Fortunately, it was an amazing deal! When we arrived the check-in was great, with no hidden charges, and very easy to do. We arrived at 12:30 am and it was fine, there were people to receive and solve our questions. I was worried as I was traveling with my family that the suite was not as big for the 4 of us, the staff assured me it was. When I got to the room I got myself a great surprise... the suite was in a corner and had an AMAZING view to both the World Trade Center and Downtown Manhattan. It was a delight to arrive at this room every time and sleep with the windows open looking at the amazing buildings you are surrounded by. The main bed was delightful to sleep, and the couch-bed was decent. The bathroom was of a good size, especially for NY standards. The sink is outside so that helps the family not to fight for the bathroom. The room has a kitchenette that is very helpful to prep food and the fridge might look tiny but it can hold a lot of stuff. We were worried it was not powerful enough, but our ice cream ended up rock solid. Besides the room the service was great, there are plenty of elevators shared with the ClubQuarters so there is always one available soon. They can deliver amenities like coffee and shampoo to your room if you desire, and if you have a US phone you can even order it using a text message. Overall it was a super great stay, it was my family's first time in NYC and the hotel made it a truly unique experience... Thank you World Center Hotel!

Probably my least favorite part was the "covid-19 rule" of not cleaning your room unless you are staying a week. I have experienced this at other hotels and still annoys me so much, but I understand. You have to call for your trash to be collected, that being said they are quite fast. The other thing that I didn't like was the quality of the toiletries, they felt quite sub-par to similarly priced hotels. I would suggest upgrading them to have a perfect stay. Final comment, the TV system needs an update to play YouTube in the room. One TV worked just fine and the other kept asking for an update.

The room was quite clean and had two beds as requested. The check-in service was quick and efficient. Filtered water dispenser on the floor was a great addition. Felt like a quiet, safe area of Manhattan. Close to several subway stations Tea and coffees in the lobby were great

The shower facility could probably do with some updating. Housekeeping is available upon request, which i did not realise. Our room was only cleaned once in a 5 day stay, which wasn't so bad for me as i tend to keep the place quite tidy anyway but this would not suit others. The wifi was surprisingly poor for a hotel in NYC, could get a connection is only sometimes which is not ideal, especially for foreign travellers.

The location of the hotel is outstanding. The room was nice and clean with a great view. There was coffee and cold water available and the room was also quiet.

Housekeeping only every three days and they left a large trashbag in our room.

Wow! Talk about customer service! I gotta say I was impressed at how consistently upbeat & attentive each and every staff member I came into contact with here was. From first to last contact, every encounter was pleasantly positive. Even when I had just arrived and was toying with the idea of moving my reservation by one day or even canceling all together to move closer to my friend's hotel, they were super helpful, willing and up for any solution that I preferred. I stayed and spent the money on ubering to my friend &/or making the long walk multiple times a day... Literally... for this reason! It was worth it! When I made this decision a few minutes later, there was someone else at the front desk who had no idea I was even thinking about the above, and he checked me in, upgraded my room without me even inquiring (Queen suite with mini kitchen & living room), sent me a text later to check on me and let me know they were only a phone call or text away. They even helped me surprise my boyfriend who didn't know I was in town. I really can't say enough about the staff! So before this becomes a literal love letter hahaha.... The actual room was clean, spacious, view of the WTC & ground zero from the room's "balcony" was unobstructed & awesome. The water was nice & hot to shower, and room temperature was perfect! (Unlike my friend's boujie hotel that was like hospital freezing, with no view). The TV tech was actually really cool, modern & helpful as well. No password or room registration needed for the wifi... Just connect and keep it moving! #itsTheLittleThingsITellYou The hotel location is great, super close to train station, site seeing spots, restaurants & shopping.

If I had to think of any drawbacks... And I'm reeeaally digging here... It might be that because of how my room was oriented, the "balcony" (being the only natural light source) and bedroom area were at opposite ends, so I didn't get as much light as I'm used to in Hawaii, which made me sleep in waaay too much hahaha... But that's just me! My bf on the other hand LOVED that! Great hotel! Great service! Would and will certainly return!
