The FIDI Hotel

Very clean and kind service. Room was comfortable despite being so small. The common area on the 2nd floor was nice with outdoor seating.

The room was very small- should be labeled an efficiency room to give a warning. The one window in the room faced within 8 feet a window to an office lunch room. This meant I could keep my window blinds open. It made the room feel like a dungeon. I extended to a second night after my trip changed and I was charged 100 dollars more without verbally being told the rate change or in writing. It was a surprise to see my bill when I checked out.

The property was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, made it hard to get up. Also, check out at 12 was a bonus.

Parking! We had to walk a couple of blocks to find parking that wasn’t going to be $80 a night.

The location was great - FiDi is such a great neighborhood. The staff were beyond kind and even let me check in an hour early because I arrived at 7 am in the pouring rain after traveling 29 hours. The room was nice and clean and the bed was super comfortable.

Everything was amazing except for the fact that the room was VERY humid constantly, it felt like the sheets were wet all the time. I used to live in the city, so I know it gets humid there, but this was excessive. Also no hand soap in the bathroom

We stayed at the Fidi between May 18th and 28th. We were really happy with our stay at this hotel, it exceeded our expecations. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff, they were very nice, helpful and efficient. They were always there to help no matter the time of day. Another hightlight of this hotel is the location, it's in a very nice part of NYC and it has multiple metro stations with multiple lines within a couple of blocks, getting out of the hotel and making our way to any part of the city was really easy. The rooms are nice and clean. The beds are comfortable and the room has all the things you might need. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about booking a trip to NYC. We hope to visit NYC again and would definitely stay here again.

The one thing that could be improved is the shelf space on top of the sink and inside of the shower. If you're travelling alone it will be enough, but if you're travelling with another person these spaces might become too small. It's a pretty minor complaint and it doesn't take anything away from our positive comments.

The location was good. It was near the subway station and a lot of tourist attractions are around the area. It is also in a safe neighborhood and you feel safe walking at night from the subway station to the hotel and even around the area. Also, the refreshing lemon water at the reception area was always good after a long day touring the city. There are also a lot of dining options in the area so if you need to relax and not go to the city proper, you can just hang out in any of the restos around. The staff is awesome though - always respectful and very helpful

The bathroom did not have enough space to put your belongings while taking a shower. There was not enough toiletries for the occupants in the room - we had to ask for an extra set of toiletries. And the room was not cleaned every day. And the AC had a green earth thing which has motion sensor and it will only turn on after 10 minutes, according to the reception staff. But when we got home after midnight one time, it took 30 minutes before it came on. LOL!!!

Love my night krewe! Angelo was fantastic. As a woman traveling alone, I really appreciated the extra step he took to not only arranged my car service for a stupid early morning flight using y’alls partner Black Car service over Uber (great upsell!) but he confirmed and verified the driver was for me at 4am before letting me approach the car. I’ll be back! Day krewe also helped ensure my safety after getting some alarming texts the night before by offering to cancel any extra keys and tried to help me trace the number harassing me.

WiFi did not work during my stay until the last day when the stellar front desk guys switched me to a different FiDi WiFi that worked much better, but I lost some work time without the WiFi previously.

Reception staff were fantastic. Helped us get about town with some great local insight. couldn’t do enough. Room was large and very modern with a great bathroom. Fantastic location surrounded by metro stations and a short walk to TriBeCa.

They charge a resort fee however there is no bar or restaurant on site. Basically it’s for internet, gym access which I never used and for 2 bottles of water each day that for one day I never received and another day they went to 2 mini bottles of water so this resort fee alone would stop me from booking again. My room had fresh towels each day but the bathroom wasn’t cleaned for 3 days or soaps etc replenished. I had to wash with Shampoo one day.

Hotel doesn't have associated parking. I phoned in and one of the receptionist said there was a parking lot for 40 dollars a night nearby When I got there, the different receptionist couldn't tell me where that was and pointed me to one that was 80 dollars a night There are cheaper parking lots, all of the receptionists they should know the best one in that area since hotel doesn't have parking itself.

We had a fantastic stay at the FiDi hotel! Upon arrival, we got an instant upgrade to a superior king room, and were able to check into our room when we arrived at 9am for a small fee. It was such a relief after travelling all night to get there. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were greeted every time we entered and left the building and it felt very welcoming. We enjoyed the coffee hour in the morning and wine and cheese hour on the outdoor patio in the evenings. Fresh water was delivered to our room every day. And the location could not be beaten! The Financial District is a perfect place for a visit to NYC -- the streets are so quiet compared to the rest of Manhattan, but still so close to all of the attractions. There are 3 metro stations within a 5-min walk. Overall, outstanding stay. Will stay here again as long as the prices stay reasonable!

The rooms are still very small— even the "King" room—with few amenities (no fridge, coffee maker, ice bucket, etc.), but that's NYC.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were super kind. The elevators were fast and the location was good.

the street noise was very loud. The first room they put me in (pictured) was *tiny* and laid out very strangely. I had asked for a bathtub, but didn't realize it would mean the rest of the room was almost unusable. The only place I had enough floor space to open my suitcase was in front of the toilet on the bathroom floor. I've stayed places like Citizen M before, where it's understood the rooms will be v minimal but this did not bill itself that way. ON THE OTHER HAND the staff were all absolutely lovely, and after the first night they were able to move me to a different room, which had much more space, if no tub.
